    Nice video. As one who lives in Southern California, we have both restaurants. I gave up on McDonald's 14 years ago. Jollibee is much better! I know one thing- when I travel I still refuse to eat McD's, I look for the local restaurants and try something new...

      haha well when you travel full-time, some comforts from home sound pretty good (even though we NEVER eat mcdonalds at home!). We eat local food 95% of the time because it is affordable and also SO good! The other 5% we like to treat ourselves to burgers/pizza/fast food 😂

    Awesome content for today's video.
    As a former service crew of both fast food chains, the S.O.P is that the food should be served hot when it is supposed to be hot and cold when it is supposed to be cold.
    Like the chicken & spaghetti meal, both should be served hot.
    It is sub-standard if it was served cold.
    Tip: You can always ask the store manager or the supervisor to replace the cold meal with a new one. They should be aware that what they serve is sub-standard.

    you actually use the spoon to scoop the food. fork is just used to shove the food towards the spoon.

    spaghetti is a common item in the menu in many fastfood shops throughout the country. the spicy chicken is actually redder and have a little flag.

    The 1 you had in MCdo was spicy and in Jollibee was regular but if you choose spicy chicken in Jollibee is more tasteful.

    There are alot of different recipe in the world. Just because you are not use to the taste it does not mean it's not good. There is no standard way to cook spaghetti not all paste are Italian taste. Some sweet some are not. It's not really weird it's just different

    Hey beautiful couple...don't say surigao city is not a tourist spot because surigao city has alot of beautiful spot and islet incomparable to siargao...in fact there's a lot of beautiful place to go...we have mabua mabua Peebles 20minutes away from the city...and we have hidden and more lovely beaches here and cave's also that only and few foreign people knew it🤗...I wish your one who can discover and explore...ask local tourism government to guide you or else I can help you ma'am if I'm not busy in my schooling😅😂...

      I think we were comparing it to Cebu, Palawan, and Siargao when saying it wasn't touristy! A better way to say it is that it is not AS touristy :)

    That definitely is not the usual fried chicken that Jollibee serves. As Madie was taking her first bite, I was like "uh, oh!". Jollibee's fried chicken is crispy, juicy, and addictively delicious, especially when it is dipped in their amazing gravy! I do not care much for their sweet spaghetti, though.

      We ended up getting more chicken after we were done filming and we agree that the chicken is very good! I think we may have gotten unlucky with that piece 🥲

    I grew up with Jolibee and mcdo, howevethey doesn't really have a competition like this before. Mcdo is just another fast food and it's really bigger compared to Jollibee. But Jollibee do the things differently to distinguish itself from McDonald's. Jollibee cater birthday parties or any kids parties, food truck, they create spaghetti, palabok, and experiment with there menu, thats why many in my generation really have a nostalgia for Jollibee because Jollibee birthday parties is reallypopular before. . That's why many say Jollibee beat McDonald's in our country. Because McDonald's didn't really reach out like Jollibee did before.

    great comparison, just fair and frank. but try Jollibee back in the US, size and taste are not the same in the 🇵🇭, that's according to vlogs. maybe now you won't get stung by a bee 🤪

    that's very weird that the ice cream machine in mcdonalds isn't working. I feel like all my life I've eaten in mcdonalds numerous of times and never seen a broken ice cream machine.
    I guess this will be the last philippines vlog or will there be more?

    Problem with Jollibee branches throughout the Philippines is consistency. Very much like KFC is in the Philippines. I promise that If you go to another branch, the experience will be a lot better. The way you took out a piece out of the chickenjoy, I knew immediately you wouldn't like it. It was very stringy and tough. The chickens I have had are not like that. They separate immediately and the skin's crunchy. The peach mango pie too, the color was different and no crunch to it. I prefer to have plastic utensils when I dine outside (except at restaurants) because you can never be sure about the way they clean the utensils.

    • @kyleandmadie
      @kyleandmadie  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sure you’re completely right!!! Consistency seems to be an issue with all fast food restaurants. At the end, we still enjoyed jollibee more!

  • @ericlilley2735

    I like McDo better for burgers. Spaghetti at both very bad to me. Common here and in the US to have a broken ice cream machine in my experience.

    • @kyleandmadie
      @kyleandmadie  ปีที่แล้ว

      the ice cream machines are ALWAYS broke haha

    • @bashersbeware
      @bashersbeware ปีที่แล้ว

      Maybe because it's colder there thus ice cream isn't something that's usually craved by people. There might be less demand that it's not practical to have the machines operated.

  • @velky_reeds
    @velky_reeds ปีที่แล้ว

    McDonalds ice cream machines are NEVER broken in this country, trust me, you guys might be super unlucky to experience something that only happens once in a lifetime 😂

    • @velky_reeds
      @velky_reeds ปีที่แล้ว

      also like to point out that Jollibee chicken is always more juicier than McDonald's, agin you guys might have been unlucky to be given chicken that wasn't fresh

    • @kyleandmadie
      @kyleandmadie  ปีที่แล้ว

      it's always broke in the US!

  • @eggy2229

    Jollibee has inconsistent quality. Some branches have juicier and more flavorful chickenjoy. I guarantee you it is better than mcdonalds’ chicken
