I pay 215 US in Jomtien. Huge pool, good gym, retail on the bottom floor of the building , on the baht truck route and 5 minutes to the beach. Most of your other expenses are about the same as mine except the gym

In Thailand there is a vegetarian eating period, usually around October. Many restaurants or street food vendors who are selling vegetarian food during this period will show up by using Yellow Flags. You may have a change to try many kind of vegetarian food during this period.

Hey there! Just watched this. It's now 4:40pm eastern time on Thursday the 27th. We here ARE getting rain today and MORE rain for tomorrow. It has been a very rainy season this spring, so far. Hopefully, a clear ing and partly sunny day for this Saturday, and next week promises more Sun. I'm glad to know all is working out for you guys, but remember this: if you forget, or blunder, or drop something, or make a mistake somewhere, "Mercury is still in retrograde". Lol. I know. Weather report in Tha Sala kept saying rain rain rain - and it didn't. So we just planned to do what we wanted. Sometime there were brief sprinkles. But, one time we took a bike ride and it said RAIN - and it poured, but my 40 year old daughter just pedaled in her shirt and modest shorts and got soaked and she loved it. I wore a raincoat! 555
That’s the beauty of the rain here in Thailand for sure! We lived here 6 years ago and purchased a scooter and would ride to Market Village to do our shopping and inevitably on our way back home we would get a downpour but it felt SO Good and we’d be just about dry by the time we got back home 😃 Thank You for your comment!

Thanks for the info. Will look at your other videos to see if you cover other costs especially the totality of monthly medical costs (health insurance, prescription drugs, visting a doctor, etc.) which as you know here in the states can be a nightmare. Also other initial set up costs like furniture, appliances or do the apartments come furnished?

Most every place comes fully furnished here for sure, that we’ve seen.
We are self insured and have not been to a doctor yet nor do we take any prescription meds. We only take supplements ( basic vitamins) and protein powder as we are pretty much vegetarian so need the extra..

We would love to make a video on living in India. We actually lived in Gokulam, a suburb of Mysore and that’s where Princess Fiona is from too 🥰 We’re actually planning a short trip back to see some friends in a few months and I can’t Wait to get back there!! Yes, we absolutely could put a video together on the comparison of Thailand versus India..but it’s been a Very long time since we lived there. 2013, so I know things have changed significantly. But we’re happy to talk about our life there and what we spent monthly! ☺️
I have a large 2 bedroom house in Najomtien close to pattaya if you ever plan to move on. £275 pcm.. close to banampur beach (6 minute walk) and 2 minutes walk to sukumvit where you can take the baht bus into pattaya for 20baht.

Congratulations, my plan is to buy a condo on the beach as I don't plan on coming back to USA/Canada and i can leave the girlfriend something instead of wasting 20 + years (hopefully lol ) of rent. My budget would be less on coffee but more on food (eating out ) but in the ballpark with you guys. Thanks

We have the Non immigrant O Visa. We hired an agent in BKK to do our initial visa as it can be tricky and complicated. I don’t like to go into pricing here but I can tell you who we used in Bangkok. Her name is Virginia and she’s at TSL and Associates. Directly across from the US Embassy. They did a Great job!

I find most airlines say a four-hour limit on the flight for bringing along a pet, so I don't see how I can work bringing my Pun'kin into those restrictions with the 10+ hr. flights involved, no matter which way I route from Atlanta, GA. 🤔
UPDATE: This was the first video that I found on your channel, but, looking further, I located your earlier video which went into detail on choosing Qatar Airlines, getting the required vaccinations, the brief misunderstanding about your paperwork, etc.

The carrier you use for Punkin will depend on which Airline you fly with. As Qatar has its own regulations for dogs and cats. We had to measure Fiona and then we were instructed on which size/type of crate to purchase for her. So start with your airline first. Safe journey to you both🤗🩵
Just got back from Hua Hin to this sh!t show in California. I wanna come back. My dogs keep me. One should be fine the other is pitbull. Not allowed I hear. Such a baby boy he is krap

We go to Jett’s in Market Village and we love it! I found out about an agent here in Hua Hin but haven’t met or used her yet…we initially went to one in Bangkok but she was way too expensive..I’ll update soon once I meet this new one 💜

Yes! We actually purchased those when we lived in Marin in California and Som sent them to us there! We bumped into Title and Som this week and showed them the picture of them in our place here and it made them so happy 😄!

I’m not quite sure about 102..but it’s very popular with farangs we’ve noticed! It’s behind the Blúport Mall..if you’re not too far out it’s probably a good place to live!

What website or service did you use to search for your Studio?
We didn’t use any website or service. We found it by walking around the area we were staying when we arrived here. It’s a great way to find places and then you don’t have all the extra fees from agents ☺️

Hello! Health insurance varies from person to person. We included the things we do on a daily/ monthly basis. Shopping varies from month to month as well..
We aren’t doing any travel as we are living in Paradise and we’re very happy to stay put for awhile 😀 We don’t go out to bars or to restaurants too much so Entertainment is included and we don’t like water sports. We have a perfect lifestyle for how we want to live 🤩 As stated…each budget will vary from person to person ❣️ Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
$3 to 6K per month in Hua Hin? What eating out at restuarants at Hua Hin every night and boozing it up? We live in Clearwater, Florida and spend about 4K a month including condo HOA, car ins on 2 cars, property tax, HO6 ins, Medical, utilities, phone. We could spend another 1K if we went out to high end resturants but we like the reasonable sushi place we go about once a week, and cafes, chinese, greek, etc. Would like to nail down health costs in Thailand. We are renting from a private owner so there is no condo name. We found it by chance out walking our dog! ☺️
