Absolutely stunning landscapes and scenery, coupled with tiny streets in centuries-old towns. For this Aussie, who has never been to the UK, it was a thoroughly enjoyable virtual trip from Hull to York. Most definitely worth the fare. 🙂
What an absolutely beautiful day you got for this bus journey. I must admit I have saw this particular route once before on Eurasia Transport but its such a lovely journey particularly when you get such good fortune with the weather it really makes it worth watching again. Yorkshire at this time of year is very beautiful i especially love the likes of the Cherry Blossom on the trees.
It was a lovely day. Sometimes it's worth watching the rides as the days aren't the same weather wise and also street activities can vary between days and seasons. I still have more rides to do in Yorkshire
Hull to York for 2 quid? An absolute bargain. It's been almost 20 years since I drove the 1079, so thanks for the trip down memory lane. Greetings from Thailand.
@@calebmumby5803 oh yeah, York is most definitely a very beautiful city. Steeped in history from Roman Times and of course it's a walled city. I think that it's quite funny how the rail companies advertise York from the outskirts of the city in the GNER colours and now the LNER. We have some friends of our family who are fortunate enough to live in a small village just a few miles outside of York.
Pardon my ignorance, but what is the foliage in the vast expanses of yellow fields? Is that a crop of some sort? The only thing I can relate it to Down Here is canola, a commercial crop grown for its oil (use to be called "Rapeseed" way back in the past).
@@hcrun No problem. I hope Australia is treating you well. I miss the place. I spent 2 years backpacking there between 2013 to 2015. One of the best times of my life
Thanks for the trip.Always like such videos.A small request, when you cut off (at stops or traffic lights) make the transition smoother.Or do not cut off at all.Good luck with new videos.
I pause filming rather than cut off especially when using my phone otherwise the videos would be too long. I can add transitions no problem. Thank you for watching and commenting
As I'm not familiar ith British traffic rules: All that overtakings during the bus stops sure are illegal if you pass the marked areas in the middle of the road, right? Many drivers do not seem to care, though...
Not sure if the reason really matters. The area should probably not be crossed at any time. Though I don't understand why the white line is dashed... Well, let's better focus on the nice bus tour. ;-)

The yellow is Canola, can't use the other name due to TH-cam guidelines. The blossoms are around this time of the year.
@@busouting Thank you for confirming that. I thought it looked familiar.

£2 OMG it costs me the same to travel from Bentley to Doncaster Interchange 😧 That's a right bargain
The £2 government is on until December 2024. You can travel on most buses for this fare for a single journey. Thank you for your comment

If it's overtaking when the bus is at a stand still I don't think it's illegal. Thank you for your comment
