@@bikeandbeyond been a bit of building on some already. Obviously a biymt jumpy now Which a....I dint do and b....it needs drier trails to get the speed up. It was still dicey today.
You should organize a few maintenance outings a year to clear the deadfall and improve the worn out sections, that will also encourage the Forest Service to keep the trails open.
Almost exactly a year ago we lost our local. 17+ years of a great relationship with FC and then a new Forester arrived and shut it down overnight. Absolutely heartbreaking.
This time of year is really hard to ride my local trails or most the Forest of Dean. Luckily I'm booked to go to FlyUp 417 this weekend which is barely affected by the wet weather :D
As a rider myself. I get frustrated that people post videos of secret locations. If you don’t want to share the location then don’t bother sharing the video.. post places that we can all go ride if you’re going to create a video please.
Yeah I understand where you are coming from. You watch it and get frustrated because you want to ride it. I do the same when I watch videos like this. I think that it’s important to remember that videos like this are not just about posting a trail so that thousands of people can go and ride them. Some videos are about providing inspiration or showcasing features or riding that people may want to adopt at their local trails. Videos like this show what sort of trails you can find when you become part of a riding community, in the hope that other riders will do the same and our communities will grow (perhaps someone will watch this video and volunteer to help with their local trail crew🤷🏼♂️). Videos like these are about showcasing what kind of trails are out there if you are willing to go and look.👍🏻
I'd put money on the video creator not being particularly local, not part of the 'community' that has built these trails, and definitely isn't involved in maintaining them....
Not the ride we were expecting but we definitely got to scope out some awesome trails ready for the return of the better weather.
Been today and its changed so much with all the trees down. It was wet as this but still a tad greasy. Some crazy stuff there.
It will be interesting to see what new trails and features come from all the closed trails.

Is this near Matlock derbyshire? Looks like my local.

Mate that is gutting. I hope you can still get out locally somewhere

Nice work! Yeah hardpack trails are definitly the way to go at this time of year!
Just about to go out for my ride so you're video dropped at just at the right time. Another great effort....keep up the great work 👏
Awesome, enjoy your ride.
There aren’t really any easy trails there
Yeah you’ve got that right. There are some properly savage trails at the steep end.
@@bikeandbeyond yes I have ridden there many times
It's Swindon isn't it? 😉😂
🤣
Where is this??
apparently, if you know you know.
weird click-baity title & gloating about secret trails that are all blocked.
i guess you had fun?
Great fun 😂
Looks like they had a great time. Jealous much?😂

Luke Ellard, you self entitled 🔔, who do you think you are.
@@bikeandbeyond that being said. You are amongst my favourite mtb channels. Keep up the top quality work 🤙🏻
If you maintain and build trails you’ll find out where the secret stuff is. No builder is going to tell the average bro to wear out their hard work.
