You just did! I think you may have missed the point of these scenes. They used Enid as a replacement for comic Sophia, who Glenn and Maggie adopt after Carol dies in the comics. Hope this short arc between Glenn, Maggie and Enid helps you as much as it’s helped me after viewing it in this way 🤍

I think we did see Glenn be a father figure to Enid and that meant that Glenn and Maggie were her adopted parents and she was even a big sister to Hershel Jr.

B/c in the comics. Sophia didn’t die but Carol killed herself at the prison so Glenn and Maggie wound up adopting Sophia and since Sophia died in this show. Enid was that version of Sophia.
