Hey guys you stayed with us in Holgate right back in the beginning. We’re going to follow you starting mid 2026. Just wondered what you budgeted for your trip for basic week to week living and how it’s working out?
Hell yeah! Definitely remember the spot! Kids riding around on the electric motorbike yeah? Budget is really tricky. We originally thought we would spend around 50k but we ended up spending double that. We never did a realy budget, just went with the flow. But we are pretty tight when it comes to spending and still managed to spend 100k in a year. Fuel, food, alcohol and camp sites. Bloody painful to think about haha but sooooooo worth it! Sorry I don't have much more to share on budget stuff Cheers mate!
@craigspratling4574 definitely don't regret any of it! Been soooo good. Wish we knew about Euka for home schooling earlier haha was stressful before that. Yeah everything is expensive haha "Off grid living"
@mitchellapps9865 travelling without kids could be heaps cheaper.... or heaps more expensive hahaha I think we would of done more experiences and gone out a lot more if we didn't have kids... would of been a completely different experience hey. Just try and stay on free camps or cheap hip camps off grid as much as possible :) We wasted heaps of money at caravan parks! Haha
