I am a Korean American and don't know why it is considered a ethnic rhinoplasty when I just want a rhinoplasty. Isn't it the same thing? My nose is less asian featured I suppose. Mine is pretty structured too.
That's a great comment. Whenever we refer to "ethnic rhinoplasty", it completely relates to the country of origin. So, surgeons in South America who are operating on Europeans would label that surgery "ethnic rhinoplasty" surgery. Or, if someone in Korea operated on someone from the Middle East, that too would be referred to as "ethnic rhinoplasty". So it's really a reference that the surgeon has a skill set that enables them to operate on individuals who have features that are different than the general populace in that region.
