- This was one of the best blackfin tuna bites I have ever seen! Ricky netted a bunch of pilchards and then we headed to the hump to do some "live chumming". We caught over 20 blackfin tuna, releasing about half of them, and kept our limit. We had the "Livit Film" crew working with us on a project for PENN and I wanted to make a youtube video as well. After catching a bunch of tuna we head back home to grill some up plus eat a bunch as sashimi. This video was filmed the first week of September.

Nick as I'm sitting here watching your video I was just thinking about your Dad. Watch Rick catch the minnows and you showing your Dad watching and waiting. Then when he gets up to the back of the boat tossing in his bait for the Tuna. Makes me wonder how many fish he must've caught in his lifetime. I love seeing videos like this one. The knowledge he must have and to pass it onto the both of you. Truly amazing! Well done!!

Dude how did you meet the bean and not meet Jamaica Mike? We stayed on the house boat at bud and marys a couple weeks ago and we met them both and even had dinner with Vic. It was the best time we have ever had in the keys. Stay on one of the boats and you wake up with the best view in the world and you get to meet all the guys.
That was hands down a Tuna blitz. Nice family affair all the way around. Never say never,Sadie didn't like that type of tuna. To many people maybe..THANKS for sharing..

Nothing like live bait. We don't go off shore with out live bait even if we just have eels. But prefer spots and minnows for chucking for those tuna and or dolphin. Every thing loves live baits. Out of nj. nice video great action and fun. Sweet.
