Sims 2 is the best for control, like I get frustrated in 4 trying to make sure the generations move on and wanting to control more then one house. I also use the club system like crazy to make extended families hang out, have all the kids meet, and so the teens can hang out and create romantic pairings

I think we need to axe interest rates and put any forgiveness back on Universities. The unlimited government backed loans are too enticing to universities and they're TOTALLY feeding off the backs of newer students.

I don't think that's true, I think its uncommon but I saw like a short video once of a SIM on Sims 2 being turned down for an engagement. I don't know if I've ever seen it in my game but I always make sure they say yes!

Don't know if you figured it out, but I think if you have a hacked computer in the flop house you could move them in, withdraw the money, then move them out/ make townie from there?
You mention Call Me Kevin and he’s made the weirdest Sims 2 vids. He gets a mod that means you can BBQ a baby. I get upset for the baby despite it being a game! My mum is even worse, she hates it when people deliberately kill Sims which is a huge basis of what Call Me Kevin does!
Edit#1. ---> stupid me just realised that this is not what I ment however she could have her tfb set to "her setup" even tho you have had set global overrides, global tfb percentage and global risky to your settings. I found that out whenever my sim marries a townie/dormie it is a "MUST" to adjust their acr by whichever setup is my default. Watching for 3rd time and was wondering maybe she had "Unmarried TFB Disabled" instead of Enabled.
Maybe twitch places for that week and make the Sims 3 Helloween in Satureday and do Strange Town on the day you would do Sims 3 normally. But if you decide to do Strangetown I would love to see someone becoming a witch or something. :D
I'm wondering if you could've replaced the extra room door with a regular door and put a double bed in there so they'd have a place to woo-hoo besides the couch. My roommate likes the Sims 4 best but that's also all she's played. She keeps telling me that the sims in Sims 2 are too ugly for her to give a shot and I keep telling her Sims 4 is too boring for me to play for long, lol. Johnny's the only Strangetowner that went to college. He rolled the want and now that's where he is. He's shacked up with the townie Tiffany who shares a dorm with him and two others, and who is also shacking up with another teen townie turned uni roommate Conner. So far there's no jealousy. Maybe I'll decide that Johnny is poly and he'll end up in some kind of throuple when he goes back to Strangetown. It won't be Ophelia unfortunately as he's lost all interest in her once he entered collage. I can't even get him back in love with her as he rejects all her romantic advances and rolls zero wants that I could make pertain to her on his end. I love those flop houses of yours! They make things so much easier to move a sim out and in my case, take out a home loan for a house. I have a system for how much a sim can take out based on total income and any previous loans, and a system for paying it back. Poor Barb! I hope she finds someone to start a family with. I am 100% the type of sim player that micromanages. I can't stand the story progression in Sims 4, even having it turned off and going from house it bothers me that the time changes by the time I get back. Like no! Everything needs to freeze until I return to that family! The best I can do in Sims 4 is to tell myself everyone is a townie except the house I'm playing and then only focus on that family like some kind of permanent Legacy challenge. But even then having the grown kids move out? Nope, they all have to live together on one huge lot that I then build smaller, individual houses on so no one can make choices without me being there.... there's a reason my mom called my playing Sims was me playing God, lol.
Sims 2 facial expressions are the best of all the Sims games. I have all the Sims games and packs, but I play Sims 2 the most.
