I’m living in Englewood, which has a fishing tradition similar to what you described. Unfortunately, there is less of it remaining every day. Do you have any family history of the boats that were used there before gas power took over? I think sharpies were popular up until the early 20th century.
Anyway, thanks for the wonderful story and lovely images,

Hi, Loved your video. I haven't been to Cortez since I was a kid. I recently decided to come down and visit a friend that moved there. After some research, I have decided to make Cortez my home too. I love the area and what it has to offer. I will surely come by and say hello when I get there. Thanks for sharing, such a great story ! Have a wonderful Summer!
