This gentleman has taught us throughout his life...to be happy and follow your dream. He has accomplished SO much, and he's still doing it! God Bless you Gene, you are a wonderful example of happiness at work, Live Long and prosper, we got your back. ❤🎉
I did meet Gene in Graz / Austria 2018. One of the greatest moments in my life. We did talk for some minutes and this made my day. Thanks for this moment Gene. The second swede you did meet that day you told me.
Gene is the real deal and all Americana. Mr. Winfield's car project advice is also great advice for life, when it gets tough, hang in there and see it through. God Bless Gene Winfield.
The guy is amazing ! A true treasure to the hobby. My son and I have run into him several times at shows and swap meets. No ego, no pretense just your average Joe hot rodder. Rock on !!!
I worked on wind turbines for years in Mojave, Ca. Gene's shop is there. One day I was at our building in town, and I saw Gene's truck parked at the Ford dealership in Mojave that had recently closed. I spoke to him for a few minutes.
i don't know what to say except thank you sir from the bottom of my heart I am not going to get your name tattooed on my arm like somebody ?but I will always have a place in my heart for the King of custom ride on sir to the forever ever and the beyond beyond
A true gentleman and one of a kind. All ways makes time to speak with his admirers. Even when he’s hard at work on something that’s not cooperating. God bless you Jean you are my grandson Liam and my favourite. .
Tradrodsandcustoms. We was lucky enough that Jean came to us. He came to are super nats over here in England. And chopped the top on a 35 ford. He never stopped working and then in the evening walked the show grounds and attended the wall of death, taking lots of photos. My grandson Liam was amazed by him. Liam got posters and a model pick up truck for Jean to sign. Jean told him he was cool. The next thing Jean went north to Finland I think and broke his hip. Thank god he made such a good recovery. Best wishes Tim.
If it hadn't been for Gene the Rod & Custom Dream Truck would have never been finished . He is the only guy that offered to section the hood , nobody else wanted any part of that job . While he was at it , he radiused the front fenders also .

give your man chad a call. tell him to leave your name out of it
Funny thing you mentioned Chad, his ego out weighs his skills and Gene is just the opposite, massive skills and a casual ego.
