OKI is a player of the Karafuto Ainu’s traditional
stringed instrument Tonkori. His ancestors are
the Ainu of the Ishikari River. The traditions of
the Ainu form the basis of the innovative sound
that he has developed. The OKI DUB AINU BAND that
he leads has played in festivals all over the world.

トンコリの音色がとても好きです。先日生でトンコリの音を聞きましたが、トンコリにしかない弦の美しい響きがやはり好きだと感じました。素人の感想ですが、OKIさんのトンコリの音色は優しさの中に厳格さというか真剣さのようなものを感じ、心の持ちようが正しい位置に直るというか、癒されつつもシャッキリすることが出来ます。素敵な音色をありがとうございます！

I usually listen before eating any Ainu or Japanese food, relaxes the tummy, promotes digestion, with some tea and ginger.
