I'm sad that you didn't also try for the Horizon Focus with this build. It gives AP, CDR, Health, and a damage amp on+after you slow someone. It has everything you need to make the potatoes and burn hit harder!
As a maokai main, you have more success with potato's if you have 1 potato in bush and you throw 1 besides them so you corner them with 2 potatoes guaranteed hit. And its better to have more potatoes with less damage but you will have more vision
@@altide8784 Ap mao isn't as good anymore unfortunately, the champ doesn't do enough damage before dying, even when you are fed, you die fast because the champ is meant to engage and tank. Ap mao was good when the hp % dmg was to e.
AP maokai is good fun, my preferred way to play him support. Your saplings arent as dangerious or omni present as teemo shrooms, but they can still annoy the fuck out of people and provide vision.

But even if you're behind you can still build tankyness and still be useful for vision and CC ! Aaand ofc space tree is the best skin
There is a new unknown Senna build. This build makes your q 1 second. Build ; Storm razor , Navori , Runaan's hurricane , Kraken , Rapid firecannon but you can change the last 2 items. Add like essence reaver kind of things. Rune lethal tempo.
I would say that Luden's Cassiopeia with Cosmic Drive is more annoying as they can never catch you with all the speed boosts. Also Rageblade on-hit Bel'Veth. Play it while its strong.

I think they should add a voting system for the drakes, either both teams can vote on a drake that will not show up or both teams vote on 2 drakes that will show up. The first is self-explanatory, but for the second it would be both teams pick a drake and whoever is, we'll say bot side of the map, their drake shows up first and top side's drake shows up second. In both cases you can affect both what drake buffs you get and what souls you CAN'T get, this I think can heavily affect gameplay especially if you have a team that can use bushes well, Rengar/Teemo/Maokai, or just want to make sure you don't see a soul like Mountain/Chemtech/Cloud.

@olive oile ahh I have been both watching and playing under this assumption and since auto fill is usually jungle this has really made me a passive jungle well time to live in enemy jungle again.

Horizon focus doesn’t proc on saps if I recall correctly
@@daniellong3067 The saplings slow and should proc HF even though they are classified as pets. The rest of Maokai's kit should trigger it as well.

Why were the buffs being dropped as if an ivern was on the team?
New patch changed it so every jungler drops them if their smite is fully upgraded. They gave ivern a big buff to make up for giving it to everyone.
