The one sad thing about movies is that they're always fast-paced and never have the time for every detail of characters, story, and information... 😢 Even so, I enjoyed this movie very much ❤ and the art and animation are amazing!

While the film does just a few problems, I do love this movie. 1. The animation and visuals are absolutely GORGEOUS! And the choreography is KILLER! The facial expressions are also great as well! If only Toei could've given the same treatment for the reboot… 2. I genuinely like that they changed Milo into a female but for a particular reason: See, while she has the same name and technique as the original Milo, I consider her as a new character, not a genderbent version of Milo, she also kind of reminds of Shaina a bit too. Plus it also kind of bothered me that there wasn't at least one or two female Gold Saints so I'm happy for this change. And before you go and try to talk about the female Shun stuff in the reboot, that is an COMPLETELY different story that I do not feel like getting into. 3. EVERYONE IS SO DAMN HOT IN THIS MOVIE, ESPECIALLY AIOLIA, SHURA, AND MILO! As a bisexual AMAB enby (he/they pronouns please), I just get HUGE bi panic whenever I see these versions of them like I already do in the original. I just butterflies in my stomach when I see them.😭 4. I LOVE the redesigns. I know that most people don't like the different shades of good for the Gold Saints, but personally, I like it. It makes their redesigns for the movie unique and more diverse. However, here's my problems with this movie. These are MY opinions so no judging or getting mad about them but feel free to share your opinions: 1. The pacing is TOO DAMN FAST. I feel like that they should've done like a cinematic universe series like some other franchises have. And with this I feel like they could've done a movie for each arc: 1. Galaxian Wars, 2. Silver Knights, 3. Two parts for Sanctuary, and if they would ever do the last two arcs: 4. Poseidon and 5. Hades. 2. Shun and Aphrodite got SCREWED over in this movie, ESPECIALLY Aphrodite. Shun barely got to win any fights let alone have a fight alone and just got yeeted against a wall every time. And when he was JUST about to prove himself and fight Shura, IKKI JUST HAD TO SAVE HIS BROTHER AND TAKE AWAY THE SPOTLIGHT! Now Aphrodite was just a complete waste of a character in this film. He literally just got teleported outside mid air and fell to his death. 3. WHERE IS LIBRA DOHKO? I get that his younger self doesn't appear until the Hades arc and was mentioned in the movie but I feel like that he should've been included as a character so that ALL of the Gold Saints are there. I'm also genuinely curious on how they would've designed him in this film. 4. There are a LOT of characters missing, especially Marin, Shaina, and the Silver Saints. Again, I wish we could've seen what they would've looked like in this film too. 5. I wished that they would've made this movie for new fans instead for the longtime fans. This could've been a new entry for new Saint Seiya fans if they hadn't read the manga or watched the original series. So yeah those are my thoughts on the movie. Dari Netflix ke sini nonton yg 2014....sekarang 2 April 2024 pas bulan ramadhan. Jadi kayak ada koneksi kalau versi bbrp pemikiran Islam bumi yg sekarang sudah penciptaan kesekian kali. Bumi bumi sebelum nya ditempati makhluk sejenis jin atau beda tapi memiliki kekuatan luar biasa..tapi Krn mereka kuat (bisa terbang dll) jadi nya perang terus oleh karena itu hanya menyebabkan bumi hancur terus..itu yg ditakuti malaikat waktu Allah menciptakan manusia di bumi sekarang...tapi Allah punya alasan tertentu yang tentunya sebagai malaikat hanya bisa mematuhi nya😁
Maybe because some fans got disappointed at the storytelling ? that was the case for my parents who love saint seiya. When I first watched the movie, I was so confused about the story even if I watched it a second time. It's only after I watched the original animated serie that i understood the universe of Saint Seiya. This movie is visually stunning, but it's really difficult to put +100 episodes into a 90 minutes movie, there's no time to introduce and develop everyone's character and the universe of zodiac knights properly. This is why all the characters seem pretty underdeveloped and pretty flat in my opinion. Also they did Shun dirty, in that movie he seems like the weakest of them all, he didn't even get to fight a single gold knight, while in the original serie he foughts against Gemini and Pisces and is probably one of the strongest. And I don't know why but they also changed Seiya's personality, they made him goofy like any 90's shonen protagonist but in the original serie he's a serious dude :/

At least this Saori in this story is not like the anime Saori because I don't like the way she treat the boys back when they were little, and I don't like the anime version of her hitting the boys with a whip, and forcing them to play horse with her. This one(in the movie) does not treat the boys like that unlike her anime version

2. Shun and Aphrodite got SCREWED over in this movie, ESPECIALLY Aphrodite. Shun barely got to win any fights let alone have a fight alone and just got yeeted against a wall every time. And when he was JUST about to prove himself and fight Shura, IKKI JUST HAD TO SAVE HIS BROTHER AND TAKE AWAY THE SPOTLIGHT! Now Aphrodite was just a complete waste of a character in this film. He literally just got teleported outside mid air and fell to his death.
3. WHERE IS LIBRA DOHKO? I get that his younger self doesn't appear until the Hades arc and was mentioned in the movie but I feel like that he should've been included as a character so that ALL of the Gold Saints are there. I'm also genuinely curious on how they would've designed him in this film.
4. There are a LOT of characters missing, especially Marin, Shaina, and the Silver Saints. Again, I wish we could've seen what they would've looked like in this film too.
5. I wished that they would've made this movie for new fans instead for the longtime fans. This could've been a new entry for new Saint Seiya fans if they hadn't read the manga or watched the original series.

Dulu pertama kali tayang di RCTI sebelum magrib, klo ga salah sekitar tahun 1992 sd 1993 soalnya saya waktu itu masih SD klas 5 selalu nyempatkan nonton film ini sebelum berangkat ngaji karena sayang klo terlewat setiap episodenya sebab cuma diputer seminggu sekali.

Bumi bumi sebelum nya ditempati makhluk sejenis jin atau beda tapi memiliki kekuatan luar biasa..tapi Krn mereka kuat (bisa terbang dll) jadi nya perang terus oleh karena itu hanya menyebabkan bumi hancur terus..itu yg ditakuti malaikat waktu Allah menciptakan manusia di bumi sekarang...tapi Allah punya alasan tertentu yang tentunya sebagai malaikat hanya bisa mematuhi nya😁

This movie is soo good and animation too idk why this is underatted
Maybe because some fans got disappointed at the storytelling ? that was the case for my parents who love saint seiya. When I first watched the movie, I was so confused about the story even if I watched it a second time. It's only after I watched the original animated serie that i understood the universe of Saint Seiya. This movie is visually stunning, but it's really difficult to put +100 episodes into a 90 minutes movie, there's no time to introduce and develop everyone's character and the universe of zodiac knights properly. This is why all the characters seem pretty underdeveloped and pretty flat in my opinion. Also they did Shun dirty, in that movie he seems like the weakest of them all, he didn't even get to fight a single gold knight, while in the original serie he foughts against Gemini and Pisces and is probably one of the strongest. And I don't know why but they also changed Seiya's personality, they made him goofy like any 90's shonen protagonist but in the original serie he's a serious dude :/
