I still don't know how you caught the tell off her reaction but it was a beautiful reaction. These judges are are there for a reason more than the money also. A positive attitude, word, to give hope, in an honest manner is something she needs when maybe she hadn't had that before. I truly believe she knows she is good but that level of good can change by the building up or the tearing down of critical judgement. What does it cost you to be kind to someone when it just might change the direction of their life? That one little nudge of belief can be push they need. The doubt weighs heavy on some. Her positive attitude has been payed forward already and I see more to come.
I see a strong and sure woman who knows exactly how to express herself!
I think she was just getting into character at the beginning, then she smashed it, out of this world, She will be remembered for this performance for ever, awesome.

I've listened to her three BGT performances over 200 times. I can't get enough of this talented young lady. And indeed, her personality is off the charts.
One reason she was so pleased was because that was her own version of the song ..she worked since the golden buzzer show to get it how she wanted ...I saw where she said how proud of this performance she was and rightly so...also in light of what you say about watching your channel to get a break from everyday stresses..when her golden buzzer video went out one comment was from a gentlemen with PTSD who said watching her sing about a better tomorrow turned his day around...now that's the power of music..and testament to her ability to convey emotion....thank you for sharing your time with us ...Karl from eastern Canada...a new subscriber

A random popup on Tube many years ago changed my life, a 12 year old Slovak girl blindsided me, some quality about her voice reached places in my Soul completely out of reach for anyone else, she changed my life, it just got better.
She passed last year at 25, Insidious Breast Cancer, far too young, no death outside my family has ever hurt me so deeply, but I promised her in absence that I would never again become the Dark Soul she saved.
I follow many singers, and all of them will only ever be in the Queens Court.

Not many singers can give me goosebumps and make me smile at the same time. She is truly a musical miracle given to us from the heavens.
People often forget that these performances are done live. Much room for error. Sydnie’s 3 performances were flawless. Not easy to do.
She sounds different because she is staying true to the tone of the song, and she is setting up the tone of the song (which is so very different than "Tomorrow" or "Over the Rainbow". So, she isn't stressed or showing nerves. She is setting up the emotional tone of the song.
I chuckle evry time she hits those last 2 words, there is so much Joy of Singing in her voice, this is what she was meant for, she is Home.
I can't watch this lady sing enough ! Too many times is too few ! Stunning talent !!!

Once in a generation
I am 74 years old. I have heard all the greatest musicals, Broadway stars, Judy Garland, Lauren Allred, Whitney Houston, Barbara Streisand.
She stands right them. She is not above them until she can put in a bunch of years.
However, her voice is exceptional, her phrasing is exceptional, and her clarity is exceptional.
I have replayed her performances many times.
I know what to expect, and I cry every time.
Pinnacle performance I put this performance above any I have ever witnessed.
Best performer ever, Sydnie is a great singer. She deserves stand equal to all best female artist and divas.

Best singer I have ever heard bar none. And she is pretty and has an amazing personality. Her album or next performance outside of BGT will be amazing.
You mention her resemblance to Judy Garland at times and I also see a lot of Shirley Bassey in her. Her belting sounds a lot like Shirley's.

There are few artists that can evoke the amount of emotion I feel when watching her sing. Barbara Streisand is one. This makes me cry every time. You are spot on...she is a generational talent. The only issue I have is that very few artists who went very far after winning BGT or AGT. My advice to Sydnie is to move to New York and get on Broadway immediately! She would also be fantastic as a comedic actress. I wish her all the best and hope she gets good representation to further her career. Lauren Alred gives me chills too and it is well known that Sydnie idolizes Lauren who sent her a good luck message during the show. Not even an accomplished singer like Lauren could go far on either competition (which makes me sad because she is AMAZING)
After the show, Sydnie said her dream is to do a collaboration with Loren. Loren responded and said she would love that. Loren recently posted that she will be in London in early July to perform with Andrea Bocelli, so maybe they’ll get together during that time?
Look at the text above. Also, Lauren Allred herself has been largely ignored. She has begun singing a characature of Never Enough.
However, Lauren Allred does not have a Broadway voice. Sidnie does. Sidnie is not an opera star. She is not HipHop. She is not a soul sister, but I bet she could sing Whitney Houston songs.
I'll bet you, she can sing Adele, Beyonce, Ariana Grande music.
However, her main strength is the musical stage.
She is a powerhouse. She could be the greatest vocalist of this generation if she has the right manager. She could be a headliner in Vegas.
When Simon says all that matters is the audience, that’s all and good but she’s tried for years to get before the audience. I’m so glad she finally got before an audience.
Her first performance I heard Barbra Streisand, in this one I heard Dame Shirley Bassey (Goldfinger, Diamonds are Forever). British Parliament needs to pass a law that every Bond theme from now on gets sung by Sydnie.
Sydnie said she was so nervous to sing this song that her voice coach had to walk her up to the Mike.
All her BGT performances were awesome but to me her rendition of My Way was the best. FYI, and according to Sydnie herself, her first album, titled My Way will be released this September. She is striking while the iron is hot. Smart girl.

I've been enjoying your reactions to Sydnie because it is apparent you have exactly the same reactions to her that I do. I hope there will be a lot more from her. By the way, it appears that you have never reacted to Dimash's "Olympico" which is arguably Dimash's most spectacular and some feel to be as much of a signature song as "SOS." When you get to that one it is advised to select the version which appears on composer Igor Krutoy's channel and may be under the Italian title of "Ogni Pietra," as well. It is by far the most popular and impressive of the "Olympico" videos----and it's a definite stunner.

Yes she decided to give up on her dream of West End and her music in December because she couldn't make a living out of it after years of trying. Then found out she was through to the BGT auditions, so decided on one last roll of the dice. Imagine never hearing her, what a waste that would have been.
Those are her two grandmothers, her “Nans”.

She was so scared, her voice coach had to walk her on stage.She was getting a lot of negativity and hate on line, calling her a liar, cheat, a fraud, really nasty remarks she thought she might be heckled when she sang. She is such a lovely, humble down to earth, funny, talented lady. I just don't understand the hate, jealousy I think.
Her next gig is to sing for the King.

Your first comments about her being nervous were totally wrong, Sydnie was getting into character of singing with 'attitude'. You were not paying close enough attention to the notes she sang 'harder' and cutting some 'short' together with her facial expressions to exagerate her questions as a woman. During these expressions your eyes were wandering all over the place making me shout at my screen "you missed that, and that", then you claimed Sydnie was just nervous 🤷♂️
Sydnie is a 'storyteller' when she sings and therefore puts 'character' in the songs to emphasize the story within the song. This makes her perfect for the West End and Broadway. She will of course become successful without too.
