@Shallex using slade you can insert an MP3 audio file and change the name, and it works fine. I've seen countless of wads do it, as well as playing wads that do so on crispy doom.
@@lyianx There are in the new soundtrack too, however they are way lower volume and intensity compared to the faster ones, making them barely noticeable
I love this song it’s so creepy and Erie and I love it! It’s a good song not play when your like on a night walk or your trying to fall asleep but can’t cause your in a constant fear someone’s is watching you and slowly your turn insane.
The drum line on this sounds as if it would be rather challenging to bring off live because one would have to remember different patterns of up- and downbeat on the cadences (?).
@@Sentient6ix Whenever I listen to that album I always skip ahead to Hades, it's a good intro but I don't have the time to listen to 3 minutes of ambient wind and bell sounds
The beginning of this song is the audio version of sitting in your bed at 12 am with nothing to do so you stare at the ceiling
Exactly all the time that what I'm saying doing that now sounds like you reading me 😂😅
This makes decent study music, gives you a feeling of tension like working on an assignment the night before it's due
This is one of the best and most recognisable doom tracks to me even though it only plays in two levels
Especially the Hammond Organ part, that part has been stuck in my head forever, sometimes when I'm bored I will just hum the melody.
E1M1 plays in only 1 level (excluding Final Doom) yet it's the most well known and recognizable Doom song
@@cobgod1415 Yeah but that's because it plays during the very first level so everyone who plays the game is guaranteed to hear it
I love how the first note is literally
*DOOM*
DOOM (vine thud)
It's actually "Doh".
this is quite fitting for a theme where your on the deserted streets at night not knowing wjat yoh could run into
bro deadass had two strokes in a row
@@extrez It only gets worse the more times I look at it lmao
Plays in:
MAP05 - The Waste Tunnels (Doom 2)
MAP13 - Downtown (Doom 2)
MAP26 - Baron’s Den (TNT Evilution)
And MAP 30 - Wolfenstein (Doom 2: BFG Edition)
Also plays in LEVEL03 - Canyon of The Dead (Doom 2: No Rest for the Living)
Baron's Den is MAP25 of TNT, MAP26 is Ballistyx
69th like 😂
This is the best theme for when you wanna be chilling with the horrors rather than being horrified
I'll say this is the best one from doom 2 soundtrack
I absolutely love the playful suspense of the classic Doom songs.
i'm actively making a DOOM level, and the theme of it would go PERFECTO with this music
ledderfayes if you’re making it as a WAD you can set it to doom 2 level 5 I think and ittl play this music
Using a MAPINFO with the map's music set to MAP05's music might work
@@rawr51919 He can also download the MP3 of the midi/song, and with SLADE, place it in the wad file and call it "d_doom", and it will play.

@Shallex oh, sorry. Didn't understand, of course not in the 1994 release. But ledderfayes was talking about source ports.
my all time favourite doom music
This is the level when you start to figure out it's Hell on Earth!
This sounds creepy which is cool!
This is what i like about the original soundtrack. While some were fast and metal, not all were, which i think the new dooms soundtrack lacks.
@@lyianx There are in the new soundtrack too, however they are way lower volume and intensity compared to the faster ones, making them barely noticeable
Sounds more like a blood track than a doom one
This is probably what a 12 year old would say
I forgot I commented on this video 4 years ago.
I remember I was excited when the beat dropped

thank you for the extended version playlist!!! this tune always gives me the creeps!
This is my go to programming music, helps with focus
I just sing the welcome to your doom
It sounds like the cyberdemon saying dooom
d o o m
Hmm, why's it called DOOM?
*plays*
oh that's why
0:49 if you wanna skip that long intro
still shorter than the intro on the Bathory album
Nah that part goes hard af 🥶

DOOM.
weird to think that this is the song they considered worthy of the name "Doom"
Best doom 2 song tho
@@toooydoeurgives a good sight on your chances on that level
The first notes literally say "Dooooom". Of course Bobby Prince called it "Doom".
No joke. He managed to mimick the word "Doom" in midi.
