I know you're busy, but I wish someone could run this channel for you. It would grow quickly with regular uploads, which would get more eyes on this issue constantly. It would also inform younger kids/teens about marine parks so they don't go eventually. The channel would also earn money that you could use for research and the cause. Just an idea.
Thank you for all you do!

Dr. Ingrid I just wanted to say thank you for your work. I have followed the stories of Lolita Kiska and Morgan, your contributions always come up and usually play a major part in changing people's minds on the true condition of these animals. Thank you for speaking up for those who cannot speak for themselves.

Morgan deserves much better than she has currently. And it's sad how the Loro Parque zoo and The European Union uses deafness as am excuse for why Morgan is in captivity.

I pray each day for these wonderful spiritual beings to be realest from the great pain they endure, l try to watch docs on these creatures of our creator ,but l only get few a few moments before tears and anger dwell up within me, all l can do is pray for their beautiful soaps to be free, l cry daily as l educate myself on not only the orca ,but those ,who imprison these beings in this cruel environment, l can't believe ,they don't see ,the pain in these animals eyes , but l guess if you can't see ,you have no hope of feeling , l will be forever in pain for what these animals go through, all my my and l do is send them love everyday in prayer, we were both adopted into the Blackfeet tribe in Montana ,married there ,so our connection to nature is the most important, thing to us ,may the creator wrap these wonderful expressions of love and compassion , in pure love , and may they finally be aloud to go home ,to their families, may those who help these creators always be protected , in the love of the creator, and given the strength and dignity these wonderful animals show every day of there restricted lives ,may they all go home soon, love all of them Darren and Sioux.

Education is the answer - putting out these great videos. I'm sure there are vast numbers of people who enjoyed a trip to Sea World when they were children who now would not go. Knowing what we do, with the body of evidence that has been built over recent years, captive orca just should not be.
There are powerful, well-funded interests that need to be fought with educated public opinion. Take their money away.

Thank you for the update. I knew from the first video 5 years ago that it was inevitable that the park was intentionally keeping her to eventually breed her, which they did shortly after and I heard about it. Since then, I had not known that the calf was born with a deformity and that it had died either. Originally, their excuse was that since she was pregnant, she couldn't be released. Well now that the calf has been born and it's dead, there's literally no reason to keep her anymore. Except now that so much time has passed (a time delay they created), they'll claim they can't find her family and she can't be released either way as she's now "dependent" on human care.

So, what do you make of the Orcas off I believe the Scottish coast tearing apart boats. Have they just got a new hobby that amuses them ? I would have asked this question elsewhere but don’t know the best place to ask.

I wish this was against the law! I dnt understand how people can get away with torturing these poor whales! I learned of Dr. Visser yrs ago when i watched somthn about her work and love for all animals! Swimming with them, amazing woman! And here we are still no laws against this and none of the places that keep these poor souls captive has changed!!! It's so so sad! It hurts my heart to know this is happening all over the world ..

I'm in Tennessee and I can tell you that many people here, in Western NC and Southern Virginia do not know. My sister had no idea until I told her. She was incredibly sorry that she ever bought a ticket to Sea World. Most people have no idea about Orca family ties, or teaching their young their traditions. They have no idea that Orca is a sentient being. Why would they know? If they have no reason to research and aren't as fascinated as I am, to the point of obsession, basically, they'd have no reason to know. Especially with the garbage Sea World puts out to the world. I've never seen anyone who learned anything about Orcas, other than Sea Worlds crap, and didn't change their minds and hearts, fall in love with Orcas and detest Sea World. While they may not actively do anything to change it, other than stop buying tickets, they do have compassion and they do not believe it's appropriate to put these amazing creatures in concrete fish bowls.

Let's hope Mr. Putin does not decide to attack, becaus if he does, we might have to revise the 'list of the world's most important and pressing issues' to read (in order of importance ): 1. Orca captivity (controversy regarding ). 2. World War III. 3. perhaps the pandemic. 4. drug trade?

1:22 since no explanation is being given here I’LL give one 🙄
Trainers had to separate them in order to feed Ula properly as Morgan wasn’t producing enough milk & it was only for 2 days. Once Ula had been taught to accept milk from the trainers they were reunited & kept together. By the time Ula was 2 years old her head looked completely normal.
Yes it was terrible that she died but in the wild or captivity, intestinal torsion unfortunately can come on very early with little warning with many cetaceans & there’s little treatment options due to cetaceans being voluntary breathers (meaning they can’t breathe while under anaesthesia)
(No hate comments please people, we all have the right to an opinion)

You see with Ula dead Loro parque has NO excuse to keep her there any longer. So I'd say if there's anything good that comes out of it, it's that...unless Morgan (God, I beg you to forbid it) is pregnant again.

You went to school and got a degree, your now got a doctors name on you ! I went to school and failed as wanting to be an orca trainer because I discovered surfing and fishing, those tanks teach us about the animal; you do the math Dr you have the most polluted waters on earth, maybe I should should label myself, we now do human experiments for our survival with COVID what the hell is wrong with captive orca breeding, yeah I know the story pretty brutal at first ; I’ve got my baby girl Corky from Sea world in California, I guarantee you she remembers me I’m 58 years old same as me no disrespect but maybe I should label myself as a doctor
