The part in overtime that starts at 5:40 should just be the opening to the overtime theme. Overtime frequently ends too fast for the best part of the track. 20 seconds is a long time in OW and the real overtime theme SLAPS
2 minutes in overtime will make you sweat, Trust me the theme helps but when those trumpets come in and your team starts to falter so you apply more pressure then it all just comes too and your truly getting the overwatch experience until one team beats the other. This is Overtime, Not playtime.

I absolutely love this one I really do like a lot but what it’s missing is the length that the previous Overwatch had. It repeats too soon and it also doesn’t have as many different rhythms like the other one did
I'm a ball main and when I hear that overtime music all I can hear in my head is "Terminal velocity! Piledriver! Impact dampeners activated! Area denied!" over and over lol
I really love how they broke the innocent music AGAIN in the latest patch, as well as removing the commas. This small indie company strives to make bugs to enrich their next patch notes.
It's mastered too quiet in parts and (in parts) missing emphasis of percussion, I may turn the bgm volume up in game and see if it makes a difference. Overall I've noticed OW2's themes in the background sound more muffled / muted compared to 1's. It may have been a design choice, but if they fix that and master it differently, I bet it will fit better.
I'm playing this and th-cam.com/video/dQYAT1kc6pU/w-d-xo.html in sync and turning volume of each up and down, and OW2's definitely sounds more muted and missing some percussion. Pretty much like the entire feel of OW2 compared to OW1, at the core the same but with elements taken away.
@@pricewm3 they need to give us the option to change the music settings like a soundtrack change. I loved when they gave us that option in certain games like Tekken 7 so that we can have our own preference.

@@FPELuvrr Depends a lot. If I'm playing Moira on defense, I can extend overtime by myself by a full minute, but shit gets sweaty as hell

I really love how they were able to make the orchestral theme even more epic! Truly a masterpiece.
I swear when the 30 second mark is starting and symmetra says her line about moving the payload it makes me feel the adrenaline.

It’s the other way around for me. 😂😂 The 30 second theme in OW1 is way better than OW2 version, but I get hype when the overtime theme comes on.
