I'm a tad bit puzzled. What does "You can't join in - You have to be born in" mean? I've always been a little disturbed by that saying. And before I make any bad assumptions as to what it means - please some one give me a detailed definition. Because right now I'm thinking "why would you tell some one they can't join your denomination if you're not born in". I don't mean to offend any one, btw. Just would like to know. I'm not COGIC so I don't know. Thanks in advance.

@favoredmissnique Well I don't want to tell you wrong, but I believe that when we say "you must be born in", it means that one you must be saved and washed in the blood of the lamb. As the the name suggest we are the Church of God IN Christ. If you recall Jesus told Nicodemus that the only way he could enter into heaven and be with Him in paradise was if he was born again. So ,you must be "born in"-saved into this church because we are IN Christ. I really hopes this helps you. God Bless!!!

Its hard to tell by watching the service on youtube, but no one was out if line. The a services were very harmonious.
