Richard with knight templar is indeed invicible 1k+ damage if fight with 1st - 4th class troops. however don't make him sorrounded in any case, losing one knight templar could loss such power. wise we play him as carry/ace with 2+ troops better with one or two healer general to maintain his calvaries's HP and make sure not to loose any single knight templars he owns. Healer generals are very cheap we can have them in silver or below generals class.
Here is healer general i owned : 1. Adil I (Bronze) 2. Sopronius (Bronze) 3. Antonia Bronze (Bronze) Other Healer general : Eleanor of Aquitaine (Silver) Guinevere (silver) For now no Healer on gold and Legendary general rank.

They could be useful in conquest where you have unlimited generals, but in campaign or challenge with 6 slots or less it would be a shame to waste them on them as they are quite poor generals. Better to use the Medical tent which recovers 10% troops per round (the medical master can be used only every 5 turns) and you can use as emergency the drums.
For earlier in the game (like from ris eof byzantine) bessas is a great option. He does high damage and if you give him melee troops then he is very, very strong

hi, check my general's path for some advices on sequencing of generals. I got Richard, Roland and Narses. Basil and Khalid also good but inferior. You must get Justinian as second archery and great consul for conquest. Cnut as 2nd infantry.
What's your opinion on Khawlah, the bronze tier general? For beginners who want to invest in infantry generals, it is a great option, largely because of the cost benefit. That's 21 cavalry points for less than 40k gold! It was one of my best short-term purchases ( without counting the cavalry items you can acquire in the first campaigns ) Currently it is no longer very viable for me, as there are more versatile and consistent options in the higher tiers
You mean as a cavalry general, not infantry. In this game it’s easy to accumulate resources, so i recommend to save and buy directly better generals. Better john the Armenian, you get him for free and wait to get Roland and Narses

He has the unique item and is amplified by Speed cavalry which is the 3rd cav unit in the melee cavalry and 2 cavalry skills, while Khalid has higher cav but no skills. And Roland title is lower, so you can upgrade and further boost his cav.
@@harry8650 I don't recommend him, he is in my general to avoid list. Said that, he is still an elite general with unique weapon and gives you access to Father of Germany hero challenge. but there are better generals like Roland, Narses, Khalid, William the Conqueror
Theodoric is one of my go too generals even though I've gotten deep into the game. He March's my silver generals and is better rthe many of my silver generals
Roland is not good. He had bad title and rank at start. He can only get 2 tier troop. His skill is not focused. You get his personnel item for free though. Khalid had change into pure Calvary now after the update. He is cheaper than Roland by about 100 medals. His skill is great. He have desert fighting, and there is a lot of very hard missions involving dessert terrain. Like many missions in the burning crusade.
I disagree. You can upgrade him and have 3 tier troop, same title as khalid and he is one of the few gold generals with free special equipment with a 20% bonus on Hussars he leaves Khalid in the dust

Healer generals? Name one. It's much easier to equip him with Medical tent and have some War drums on stock

2 templar + 1 Healer + 1 Cooldown reset + 1 replenisher is interesting to make a content by showing their best role in combat.

thanks for your advice, i bought Roland and really Roland is too strong to help me deal 300-600Dmg quite well
And of course you can upgrade him, get the unique item Durendal and unlock speed cavalry
