Apollo is really enjoying all the attention. First REN’s is brushing him and then you are shaving his whiskers and feathers! He knows he is going to get treats so he is really eager! Apollo would stand for you forever because he is such a gentleman! He’s got a one of a kind personality and such a pleasure! Apollo like some Friesians look like they are smiling all the time too! 🐎⭐️⭐️❤️❤️❤️

I had never heard of mud fever before watching these videos. It's so interesting and educational for those of us who have ridden horses but never had one of our own. I used to do dressages and ridden Paso Finos in the US but never got to learn about horse health and horse care.

So glad Apollo has relaxed for the spa shave day, loves his treaties and the attention.
Love the look of good feather but trimmed is so much more practical unless you can wash/rinse/repeat oh and dry as well very often any time it is wet. Watch a Gypsy Vanner person so got a clue on that effort...

I love the look of a horse that has the long hair around their hooves but wouldn’t want Apollo to have any pain so glad you keep it shaved so you can tall right away if he has mud fever.

It is only on the surface, no problem there
