glad to hear u like him and even though u r not into kpop, u r still respectful. If u liked him u can check out his album as well as other songs like lie, promise and serendipity. I'm sure u will like it, it is just a recommendation.
He is having fun seeing what his voice can do. I am learning he has an incredible voice range, and style. I love the fact that an artist of his level is still willing to grow, change and try new things.
For me, Jimin is the most exciting artist from BTS! It is constantly developing, growing to a new level! He is unique in his diversity! A performer with an exciting voice, vision, heart, feeling and thought in his performance! Admirations!
I really thought his songs can't get any darker but I'm wrong but I'm so thankful that atleast there's a reactor who understood how dark his songs actually are.
@@rafaelsmith5737 Exactly, I always think the same, Lie it's such a masterpeace and I always believe that he just use the BU story to tell how he was feeling about everything, he was feeling so lost in a lie, and the lie just grow and grow even more with the pandemic, the break in BTS, etc... It's so heartbreaking how depressed he was and just now he can tell us with this album :(
@@v.vlenmf05 All solo songs - while integrated into the BU - are about the real members and personal, even if they have not necessarily told us everything. "The Rise of Bangtan" I believe uses them to look into who the members are at that point. And Covid was depressive especially in countries like SK where you couldn't get your hands on the vaccine as the West more or less bought everything up and refused to make it open source. But they all have said that the stage in front of fans at a concert is the very heart of a musician. That Jimin was hit hard (so were the other members) was clear at the latest at their Map of the Soul: One concert where he cried. Luckily "Set Me Free Pt. 2" is the last song on the album: because there he sets himself free. It reminds me a bit on am old video essay "the underestimated intelligence of Park Jimin" by Asian Entertainment and Culture (I think) where it is pointed out that Jimin can and has thought himself through his dark emotions before.
@@QueensThief76455 Filter is low key horrifying… if you look past the surface level seduction of it it has some Fake Love levels of throwing away your own identity to literally *become* some kind of mask or performance for another person
Jimin said this is about the feelings he went through during the lockdown/pandemic... he said he's all fine now, he doesn't still feel what he was going through then. And yes, he's amazing, and this album is gorgeous.💜
Jimin is fascinating in his music because a lot of his music has very poppy fun beats with very deep and dark lyrics and double meaning. Filter and lie are really good examples of this as well. He's very open about his internal struggles and public image and it's so refreshing to see, especially in an artist that is so famous. He is very raw in his music. It's one reason I love that he keeps his private life so hidden, his life is so public that he deserves to keep things to himself.
FACE is a conceptual album where the tracks are arranged specifically to tell a story. The placement of Like Crazy and Set me Free pt2 in the album make absolute sense once you realize the themes. Jimin specifically said this album includes all the feelings he went through during the pandemic, but he has also reiterated time and time again that these feelings have already been processed and he is in a much much better place. All members of BTS have mentioned it, and it bears repeating, that they always work on processing their emotions before they attempt to put them into song, so while you can absolute tell/feel what feelings they were going through through the music, you are basically experiencing their past emotions and feelings. So I would be careful in trying to analyze their personalities and current feelings based on that, unless it comes from their own mouth. Just putting it out there.
I was kinda confused at the first time listening to the album, especially the interlude. But after connecting all the dot and listening to it again after someone pointed it out about the connection I just get it hsksksk and actually listening to the album in the order format is so satisfying it feels like im listening to audio book with surrounding sounds, I broke the count how many time Im repeating the album in every strealing platform TT
You are right. If I think about it, the greatest artists in history were always very sensible, deep in touch with their emotions, but had the talent to bring that out in beautiful ways, hence connecting with people. Jimin is a one in a generation type of artist.
People are SLEEPING on this man I swear 😒 !!! He deserves to be the most popular , loved and appreciated 😑. I guess People like "VISUALS" more these days than ACTUAL TALENT
This song sounds like a dark fairy tale. your voice sounds like a whisper making you go somewhere. it's like a dream, but again like you're using substances. you kinda start to feel a little bit of what jimin wants us to feel. that girl, once they meet in the middle, all the half-stop shots look like we see him through that girl's eyes. and at the end he looks as the camera pans around, it's like we're spinning too but looking at him as he says "I need a way we can dream". and he looks down again like he can't find a way and it hurts him to the core. it's just not a new thought for him to cry over, just to accept that he'll keep trying. he looks at the camera often but looks different when we see the girl is nearby. it seems that he is talking to us/her. But it's like he's trying to tell us something that's hard to explain, but he does. he'd rather be outside than feel the sad emotions sober. Jimin said something about the album expressing the feelings he felt during the pandemic in chronological order. in a sense it involves the army, bts or jimin himself all at once. it was always about us, emotions confirm how he must have felt all this time. the "forever you and me" is always in the background at different times, only softly if you listen carefully. some things I still can't fully explain but it's not just us but Jimin himself, always striving for perfection but all things considered seems out of reach. the "alone again... what's the point" is so painful because he can really feel it. as if he gives up for a moment, or goes back to being sad and sober, no longer in the club where he can forget in the company of his friends, fans, etc. there's so much I want to explain, but there are some things I can't connect or explain yet. regardless, this M/V was profound. between sad and the sudden sound change slowly relieves you of the sadness and distracts you, until you are alone again, then it starts. no wonder he doesn't want to go away or be saved. he wants to live in that moment when everything is temporarily fine. the bathroom scene reminds me of movies where the party is outside and the bathrooms are where you will cry and think and reflect and drown before you go out again and forget. you want to forget, but you occasionally remember, leading you to go back and forget AGAIN. the sadness being an incentive factor to go out and party, not sober up and just enjoy the lights, completely lost. BETWEEN A MIX OF FICTION AND STRONG REALITIES. ANOTHER WORK OF ART BY THIS THINKING BEING. APPLAUSE.👏👏👏❤
You nicely summarized Jimin's personality and how it impacts his discography....this song aptly signifies his internal struggle with pleasing others and how in that process he is sort of losing his own self 'for himself'- I'm trying my best to make sense here..hehehe....he has a back story to this song, n the entire album for that matter, as he has told in so many interviews, but this song kind of touches the deep, vulnerable side of him. I'm proud that he was courageous to show that side to us but I also hope it has brought him some kind of closure. He is a beautiful singer and an honest artist, n no doubt his voice is always mesmerizing. I am so glad that he is getting the accolades as a lone artist on top of his identity as a BTS member.
Every song from JIMIN's album tell his personal story he has gone through and carried a deep message behind that one get inspired in many ways. (I really hope it's all in the past whatever inner turmoil, tho he said he happy now) Also I applaud him for having a courage & believing us to put his authentic self so that we all could relate and seek comfort from the song. Thank you for your reaction to this Al always your support to JIMIN 🤍 Take care!
I know 80s when I hear it and this was 💯 80s vibe (80s mullet) with Jimin’s special twist on it! He makes me want to go back to that era and experience it all over again! Another masterpiece! Beautiful, haunting, honey sweet, Angel voice!!!! Love him so much!!!💜👼🏻🐥👑
My initial thought about this song and the video had me thinking about how Jimin has always had that internal struggle with himself. This felt like a metaphor for his relationship with fame to me. It’s a good time, he thrives on it, it can’t live without it, but he questions the darker sides it brings to him and how it affects him emotionally, but he doesn’t want to be saved. Idk, you always get a back and forth in his songs, there’s always this sense of duality and there are different parts of him talking together. Musically and creatively, he stands apart because of this. I think it’s amazing that he can show it off like this. Definitely an interesting song and I really enjoyed your take on it!
His whole album is actually a story line of how he was feeling during the pandemic!!! One reactor called DG reacts did a break down of it very beautifully together with the bonus track that was in his album if you bought one
This is Jimin dark side. He was in the BTS and couldn't be who he want to be. He was struggling with being out and about and able to be himself and enjoy the life. 😢 His dad was sad to hear the song because he didn't know what Jimin was going thru.😢😢😢
Jimin FACE The whole Album is named FACE.. BIGHIT themselves said: "FACE" is all about Jimin facing himself head-on as he gets ready for his next step as a solo artist. They also wrote: Circle of Resonance: "reflection" of vulnerable minds and unexposed wounds. Face, the reflection of myself in and unfamiliar appearance. Face of facing the deepest part of inner-self. (->Circle of Resonance has also something to do with the three circle Album Covers etc..) I also read somewhere that reflections just reflect each other, don't meet, that's why they walk in circles or follow each other.. So the person who pulled Jimin into the party with a dirty hand, like himself at the end, was the girl.. she supposed to be his reflection (but her muddy hand was already dry and „crusty“ but Jimin‘s muddy hand at the end was wet and obviously new..🤔) (there are also some theories that he chose a girl because “like crazy" actually is about having a conflict between masculine and feminine sides, trying to accept but never actually coming into terms with himself and that's why they never met in MV. bc it stressed him out it was easier to get lost in the feeling of euphoria partying gives you) -> if you look at jimin's journey the way his style changed, the way his body changed, he was talking a lot in past years about accepting himself and feeling comfortable in his own body so yeah it does make sense.. Jimin also once said: „What the hell is men?“ and said that he wanted to appear like a strong men back than (his muscles, gestures (example: showing of his „manly and strong body“), style..) = so „she“ is himself. (The girl is also wearing clothes with the same concept as his hard wear outfits) (Fun fact the song Like Crazy is also inspired by the Movie Like Crazy (the voices at the start and end of the song are dialogues of it)-> Jimin said about the movie: I thought it would be very romantic and sweet, but it turned out that it's actually a very realistic and stark depiction of a breakup.) But you don’t have to worry about him.. Jimin also said in an Interview: I'm so thankful to my members for inspiring me to start working on this album. I don't know how people are going to react to the music, but I actually was able to completely resolve and move on from all those feelings of being lost. I'm perfectly okay now, so I'm so very thankful to them. I just wrote the emotions as they were, exactly how I felt two years ago, and the emotions that I felt in every situation [at that time]. Another ”theory“ out there is that is FACE Album has the 5 stages of grief.. witch is probably definitely true because his Album shows us a story about his struggles and how he slowly gets over it etc.. The Album is in that order: (1. Face-off = Anger, 2. Interlude:Dive = Denial, 3. Like Crazy = Bargaining, 4. Alone = Depression, 5. Acceptance) Surprise: There is also a hidden track at the end of the Album (just when you buy the CD) named Letter witch starts playing at the end of Set Me Free Pt.2 at minute 06:13 (their debut date) with Jungkook Background Vocals and Jimin playing the guitar.. it’s a Letter to himself, BTS and ARMY -> it’s also the seventh song ( you know 7=BTS etc..) Another fact: The song Interlude:Dive doesn’t have lyrics but there is a clip from the Busan Concert Yet to Come in it (their last concert together for a long time after a long time and he said: Wuah, Everyone, I missed you so much. I get to meet you like this.. I'm Jimin! ) ..after the ”concert“ we can hear a car driving and doors etc.. and at the end he fills something in a glass and drinks it (alcohol)-> then ”like crazy“ starts playing .. but the other sounds are still a mystery to me in the track.. the heavy breathing or walking or the knocking in the beginning after the -dreamy like- Melody.. it’s just SO much!… but the way the album goes from him being angry in ”face-off“ (with kinda clown (joke) style music at the beginning) to drinking after a concert in ”Interlude:Dive“ then partying in ”Like Crazy“ then waking up in beginning of ”Alone“ (alarm clock startet playing) (while being alone=depressed) then facing his inner thoughts in ”Set Me Free pt 2” and thanking everyone for helping him go thru everything in the song ”Letter” and that he wants to stay together forever etc..really feels like he is telling a story in order! Conclusion: Jimin is a genius. And there is probably so much more and don’t forget the visuals with probably some hidden meanings in the Music Video.. (the only thing I know now is who the one guy on his pants is…-> Robert Mapplethorpe -> was an American photographer, best known for his black-and-white photographs. His work featured an array of subjects, including celebrity portraits, male and female nudes, self-portraits, and still-life images. !His most controversial works documented and examined the GAY male BDSM subculture of New York City in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Everyone..pls tell me if I forgot something important, if I did something wrong or you know more! ( and also English is not my first language so sorry for maybe some mistakes..) 💜🙏 that took me way too long😂
Set Me Free pt2 is the last track in the album because it's that moment when he finally released himself of all the struggles he went through in the past. The last scene of it is a sneak peak of what he has in store for us in the future. He finally set himself free. The tracklist are different phases of what he had gone through, everything that he had to face in life, hence the "FACE" album cover page. I couldn't help but cry as I listened to each track. Like crazy gave me that interpretation of how he feels when he's in the limelight, when he's performing he's all hyped up and full of life and doesnt want it to end, then there's that moment when he's alone and he feels empty all of a sudden. I'm happy that in the end he gave us reassurance that he's ok now by creating Set Me Free pt2.
i loved this song sm. it feels like im floating fr. it could be just a fun party song or late night drive song or it could have a darker/deeper meaning. whatever its so good
So true, I am married to a Libra man, he is a lot like Jimin personality wise, goofy, charming around people, considerate, loveable, honestly there is not one person that knows him or meets him that doesn’t love him to bits, he has that personality that attracts people, he is so caring, that’s not he doesn’t do for the people he cares about and loves, and Jimin reminds me a lot of him, my husband also is very dedicated at work , very perfectionist, his mind does not stop at all, at home I’m so spoiled 🤣🙈, 13 years together, 11 years married and I still get breakfast in bed 🙈, so I do understand Jimin personality, and for him to open up to us , we are really lucky as Libras they really don’t feel comfortable of showing vulnerability as they are normally the comforters for people. Jimin has grown a lot as person and has an artist and everything is packed in one. Well done 💜👏🏽
It is nice to see that you understand hus struggle to achieve perfection. I feel like a proud mommy seeing my baby Mochi all grown up and conquering the world with his voice, his dance, his duality, his personality. A proud 54 years young Army from Brazil.
I don’t know any other artist who is working harder than him. He wants to be better and better and wants to please everyone. Sadly I think that will always be a struggle of him. Hope he finds peace in himself.
I think that's related to him being the most hated bts members since the start, whatever he does he's greatly criticised and hated even something as normal as using autotune like there's not a single artist who doesn't use autotune but ofc jimin gets hate for doing the same, it's really beyond my understanding how ppl can pick and choose who they wants to hate or not even for the same thing based on their preferences, there's so many artists I came across having voice cracks while singing live, sometimes no one even point it out or just ignore it or brush if off and sometimes ppl praise them for having voice cracks saying 'it just shows they're singing live and putting efforts' but ofc jimin gets hate for the same thing even though voice cracks are inevitable, I sympathies with him alot, he's really hard on himself and despite putting on so much hard work and effort to improve and despite him giving so many great and versatile live vocals that it give me goosebumps throughout his career, yet he still gets hated over smallest things
The amount of videos of him I saw completely slaying those vocals it gives me goosebumps I still don't understand how anyone can say he can't sing, I really want to shove those performances on their faces when they say that but ik they already know this they just want to hate him for no reason at all, jimin is very versatile too, he doesn't just sing in monotone voice, he can hit high notes with his lowe register and can go high too, he can also hit low notes effortlessly as singing with lower register is his forte and hitting low notes is more complex than hitting high notes u can actually try and see what's more difficult, it requires correct amount of control to hit low notes, jimin is an amazing singer and he have proved it from time and time again throughout his career, haters are just waiting for one opportunity to drag him.. (Sorry for the long paragraph, I got carried away lol
@@colourpurples9152 A year late but the hate he gets is from his own fandom and kpopies just jump on the opportunity to drag him too but essentially it's the so-called army that drag him down. They keep their silence because they know it's the fandom itself hating him. Mostly jjks and kths hate him, Shippers as well. I still can't believe this fandom is full of 90% shippers that oppose Jimin. It's not just that, it's also the fact that the 2 members they expected to be more successful than the rest weren't the ones actually succeeding. it's funny how they thought he wasn't loved bcz he has always been the one with a great solo fb and supporters all around the world and not just few countries pushing him through. His songs always do better and on equal level of BTS single since the beginning, reason why they removed filter because it was doing better than ON the BTS song itself and without any promotion. This is also the reason why you see that journalist asking him which one he prefers more filter or on. That question wasn't out of nowhere, it was because Jimin was doing better. All in all most Armys are the reason why he gets hate. It's crystal clear. Sorry for the rant lol.
I love watching a professionals' reaction video, becoz they really said the right word no matter if it's critics or praises. they break down the whole video not just gushing at the visuals.
3:52 you totally get it! honestly jimin has been too hard to himself. there are times being a perfectionist, he blame himself if he think his performance was not good enough. I love that He is knowing more of himself , his color and his music. so proud of jimin.💜
I love your reaction because I feel like not a lot of people truly understand the emotions that the boys, Jimin in this case are trying to showcase. Idk if it’s that they get distracted by the visuals or what but the lyrics are also important in telling the story. It’s basically nice to see someone get it outside of the fandom. Thanks for reacting 💜.
I feel that you are so spot on about this internal tension with himself and struggling with these different side of himself/roles/expectations, both internal and external and hat he communicated that through his music as well
I LOVE THIS SONG. beautiful voice. 😍 This song is beautiful. I believe Jimin is dreaming. These songs came about due to the way he was feeling during Covid. He's lonely and wants to get out. I think the mud reference being stuck. He's pulled into the club to have a good time, but I feel drinking my help with being lonely. He doesn't want the sun to come up because he knows it will end. I think the girl represents ARMY. Jimin loves and misses his fans, so he's looking for them, trying to meet them in person. The mud on his hand at the end is probably his dream and reality overlapping. Remember, like crazy is the first song on the album, and set me free the last. That's why they are so different. The album is the journey he was on. ANYHOO, I LOVED THIS SONG, WHATEVER IT MEANS
i absolutely LOVE the way you hit the nail on the head everytime. it's so refreshing seeing and hearing you talk about jimin (& the members) because you ACTUALLY know so much more about them than everyone else. so glad i found your channel, never have a bad thing to say.
The song is inspired by jimins favorite movie LIke Crazy. I think there is a deeper message to this than appears . I think it lilnks to his depression which was what set me free was about.
I think you have summed Jimin up really well and yes, I agree that he is an amazing artist. This song sounds upbeat but it has beautiful but dark lyrics. Actually the album flows from the first song through to the last, so well done. Sorry you’ve had a tough week! Hope you feel better soon & thank you for your insight and reactions.
Thank you Blake, I knew you would see this song/MV for what it is…I so appreciate your perceptiveness and insight not only on his solo songs but the other members as well. 💜 And thank you for taking the time to get to know Jimin better. Hope you are feeling better and doing well.
what i notice abt bts is these 10 years isnt their peak or 100% of their creativity and talents. they are really that talented and unique. how they come up with everything with quality increased in every comeback. i always know jimin or jk will be perfect for r&b. but i didn't even realize jimin will kill city pop and jk with soul. and rapline, their range is out of this world.
I've been following your reactions since two three years. Your insight into jimin's artistry and personality is SPOT ON. I wish I could join you into your Patreon but unf I can't afford it. Nevertheless best of luck for future
Here's info that some still aren't aware of: ❣JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy. Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!! So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey! JIMIN, also, for 8 yrs, since a quite young boy, trained in various forms (4), of martial arts: Taekwondo (Blackbelt), Hapkido, Kumdo (Korean form of Kendo), & Chinese martial arts. He even won a scholarship, the only student to do so, to study more extensively in China for awhile! All the martial arts training has given JIMIN his phenomenal inner core strength, as well as his amazing flexibility, which has enabled Jimin to achieve all those breathtakingly spectacular gravity defying dance moves! JIMIN has found a way to incorporate all his various dance disciplines, as well as his extensive training in martial arts into his unique, ever so special, outstandingly amazing dancing abilities!! JIMIN, has been called 'Stage Commander', known for his amazing, so mesmerizing stage presence. Each dance move is executed flawlessly, his extensions all the way to the fingertips, his lines so clean, his fluidity, his poise & elegance, his ever so graceful moves, but yet, sharp, quick & deliberate when required! He focuses on every detail! Known for his work ethics and being a perfectionist to a fault, spending hours in the practice room, will study every move, even focusing on hands to fingertips. Even his facial expressions, or the look in his eyes! Every single detail he focuses on. Jimin tends to take in the music and interprets all the emotion & feelings, whatever it's trying to convey through his body movements as well as his vocals. JIMIN has now won the prestigious titles for 4 yrs in a row, for both KING OF KPOP, as well as also winning BEST TOP #1 DANCER IN KPOP, also 4 yrs in a row!! Jimin is also referred to as "Rookie's Bible" because all rookie idols, try to emulate & study every move he makes, trying to learn from him! Aside from all that Jimin has won other countless award, broken many records. His 7 solos: ‘Lie’, ‘Serendipity’, ‘Filter’, ‘Promise’, ‘Christmas Love’, including collabs: Jimin's OST ‘With You’, as well as collab w/Taeyang ‘Vibe’, have broken charting records worldwide, as well as being top seller, plus most listened to. Also breaking records for being #1 branding marketing idol, every single month for now, for over 3 yrs, a feat never achieved before, and still ongoing! The term the "Jimin Effect" is now in the Urban Dictionary! So much more as well but will stop here.
I agree with you so much... all the lyrics of each member separately, or together when it's for BTS... all the lyrics, MV, vibe, music... everything is so deeply worked and means so much...! This is why the 7 angels (sorry, for me they are angels because they are exceptional human beings) are so moving, so talented and so loved by Army... It's no joke, their music and lyrics have saved people like me... I was totally depressed during the pandemic and the only thing that gave me hope was their music... In this album Jimin wants to share with his true fans some of his troubles and suffering during this difficult time.... I totally agree with Blake's interpretation; the lyrics, the music, the voice of Jimin... everything is different and darker... 💜 I wanted to cry when I listened to all his new songs because I found out that he was in pain too, like us...even more than us...because he couldn't express his feelings and show what was on his mind.. .😢💖 It was certainly very hard and very painful for him...because of the rules of the pandemic, because of his popularity, because of the f...haters...he had to go through this period alone!🥺💜 In this song he says "let me stay in my dream, don't wake me..." 😢 omg, I was in the same emotions... 🥺🥺🥺 This album is really amazing and so good, for me because first of all, I like Jimin's voice, Jimin's dance, Jimin's music... but "FACE" is more than that... that means something very special to me!! ! and I'm sure for many Armys too... Thank you Jimin!!!! You are the Best.. and your 6 brothers too, of course 💜♾💜♾
You should probably check out the rest of the tracks from his album. It's arranged in a way that a story is being told very artistically. Also, I feel jimin is a real genius when it comes to things like this.
you're the first reactor i saw that GETS IT! even ppl that followed Jimin for a long time failed to grasp the dark side under all the glitter running to your Patreon rn

If you are doing a Jimin dive, please make sure you watch the introductions he gives about the album and the making-of videos as well as reacting to the whole album in order, as he has said these were his chronological emotions during the pandemic. Set Me Free p.2 is his DECISION to not be locked in depression and so doing what he needs to get out of that. Hidden track Letter begins at 6:13(debut date) on Like Crazy English version track of physical album, and references other hidden track Sea, Spring Day, Promise, and others. Is it a letter to himself, ARMY, someone else? Listen to the whole album. This *COULD* serve, *IF* he releases nothing else, as his "See you later" song (a la Jin & JHope with Astronaut & On The Street) prior to military service. Depends on what layer you interpret his music on, which also depends on how well you know your Jimin history.💜
Keep in mind the chronology of the songs on the album…Like Crazy is before SMFP2. So I see SMFP2 as his triumphant ‘finale’ - his resolution…he’s free at the end.
An interesting perception of what Jimin is doing musically. I sensed an internal struggle within his music and also in his life. It must be hard to be all things to everyone and balance that with being happy within yourself. In a way he is very honest but there is always more held back that perhaps we may never know about. Either way I love him and his music and will always support him.
I love watching your reactions. Your professionalism makes it interesting and you really know what your talking about, unlike many other people who just spew rubbish and criticize him all the time. I will definitely be a subscriber to your channel. Hope you feel better.
if you feel like it you should listen to the entire album, it’s a conceptual one. It’s made to tell a specific story. You are right that like crazy is the one that tells how he’s kinda lost with himself, and trying to accept every side of him. And in set me free he’s accepted everything and just wanting to be free. It’s very interesting.
when you listen to his album from the first to the last song, it'll give you a whole picture of him that we were never shown. and he is so brave as he laid it out there for us to understand him
I love how this song embraces a wide audience. What I mean on the surface its.a club song, sexy, hooking up kind of vibe. However, if you analyze it you see there is something else going on, Deeper and dark. I am trying to see the dark side more because I believe the true intent is found there. It's clear the club is a mean to escape something. To forget because he is saying don't wake me. Its like he wants to be somewhere besides his life so being at the club allows him to put the real him on the back burner and become this other person who isn't burdened
FACE- a reflection of myself in an unfamiliar appearance, face of facing the deepest part of my inner self. An echo, tremor, or small movement to reach you.
I love Jimin! Like you, I’ve always been fascinated by his voice. So unique and there’s just no one out there who sounds like him. Btw, I’m a huge fan of your reaction videos. I think you’re currently one of the best out there. Keep up the good work, and what happened to your little kitty? 😊
You have to read his interviews, he talked about the concept of the album and the story behind each song, you will understand his whole personality and the message he trying to send here
Jimin’s work is a real artistry
I'm not into kpop at all but I really love jimin. he's like a phenomenon
glad to hear u like him and even though u r not into kpop, u r still respectful. If u liked him u can check out his album as well as other songs like lie, promise and serendipity. I'm sure u will like it, it is just a recommendation.
Me to 😊
He is having fun seeing what his voice can do. I am learning he has an incredible voice range, and style. I love the fact that an artist of his level is still willing to grow, change and try new things.
Such a BTS way to be
G DRAGON THE KING ,
@@himaririku9254 can you just stop? I see alot of coment like this from you in every BTS reaction
@@himaririku9254 and he likes Jimin. While working on Vibe, G-Dragon asked for Jimin’s phone number.
@@tiffaniethornton9187Where is that information? I'm curious and glad if that's true.
For me, Jimin is the most exciting artist from BTS! It is constantly developing, growing to a new level! He is unique in his diversity! A performer with an exciting voice, vision, heart, feeling and thought in his performance! Admirations!
I couldn't agree more! ❤
Не agree with you
We all agree with you this man have something no one of the group have I can't describe him with words
No but i totally get you, he is really an interest artist
G DRAGON KING G DRAGON -
I really thought his songs can't get any darker but I'm wrong but I'm so thankful that atleast there's a reactor who understood how dark his songs actually are.
It doesn't surprise me. I have always thought Filter had a dark undertone.
@@QueensThief76455 Filter, Lie, and Promise are all very dark
And now there's like crazy, Alone and face-off
But thankfully I found his hidden letter
@@QueensThief76455
Filter is low key horrifying… if you look past the surface level seduction of it it has some Fake Love levels of throwing away your own identity to literally *become* some kind of mask or performance for another person
I’m enjoying Chapter 2 and all the solo projects. Jimin’s voice is so unique, very talented man.
The songs from face are what Jimin was feeling 2+ years ago. Starting ar the beginning of the pandemic lock down. ✌💜
You gotta listen to the album, he really surprised everyone and shared so much about his struggles. I’m so proud of him.
JIMIN ES REALMENTE UNICO!!!!!
Jimin's voice is sooo gorgeous ❤️
Jimin’s vocals and what he can do with them is amazing! Love it! Congrats Jimin!!!
Thank you for your reaction to this Al always your support to JIMIN 🤍
Take care!
Jimin's vocals are insane beautiful ♡♡
Jimin has the power to make people love him especially.
This is Jimin dark side. He was in the BTS and couldn't be who he want to be. He was struggling with being out and about and able to be himself and enjoy the life. 😢 His dad was sad to hear the song because he didn't know what Jimin was going thru.😢😢😢
Jimin FACE
The whole Album is named FACE..
BIGHIT themselves said: "FACE" is all about Jimin facing himself head-on as he gets ready for his next step as a solo artist. They also wrote:
Circle of Resonance:
"reflection" of vulnerable minds and unexposed wounds. Face, the reflection of myself in and unfamiliar appearance. Face of facing the deepest part of inner-self. (->Circle of Resonance has also something to do with the three circle Album Covers etc..)
I also read somewhere that reflections just reflect each other, don't meet, that's why they walk in circles or follow each other..
So the person who pulled Jimin into the party with a dirty hand, like himself at the end, was the girl.. she supposed to be his reflection (but her muddy hand was already dry and „crusty“ but Jimin‘s muddy hand at the end was wet and obviously new..🤔)
(there are also some theories that he chose a girl because “like crazy" actually is about having a conflict between masculine and feminine sides, trying to accept but never actually coming into terms with himself and that's why they never met in MV. bc it stressed him out it was easier to get lost in the feeling of euphoria partying gives you)
-> if you look at jimin's journey the way his style changed, the way his body changed, he was talking a lot in past years about accepting himself and feeling comfortable in his own body so yeah it does make sense.. Jimin also once said: „What the hell is men?“ and said that he wanted to appear like a strong men back than (his muscles, gestures (example: showing of his „manly and strong body“), style..)
= so „she“ is himself. (The girl is also wearing clothes with the same concept as his hard wear outfits)
(Fun fact the song Like Crazy is also inspired by the Movie Like Crazy (the voices at the start and end of the song are dialogues of it)-> Jimin said about the movie: I thought it would be very romantic and sweet, but it turned out that it's actually a very realistic and stark depiction of a breakup.)
But you don’t have to worry about him..
Jimin also said in an Interview:
I'm so thankful to my members for inspiring me to start working on this album.
The Album is in that order:
(1. Face-off = Anger, 2. Interlude:Dive = Denial, 3. Like Crazy = Bargaining, 4. Alone = Depression, 5. Acceptance)
Surprise: There is also a hidden track at the end of the Album (just when you buy the CD) named Letter witch starts playing at the end of Set Me Free Pt.2 at minute 06:13 (their debut date) with Jungkook Background Vocals and Jimin playing the guitar.. it’s a Letter to himself, BTS and ARMY -> it’s also the seventh song ( you know 7=BTS etc..)
Another fact: The song Interlude:Dive doesn’t have lyrics but there is a clip from the Busan Concert Yet to Come in it (their last concert together for a long time after a long time and he said: Wuah, Everyone, I missed you so much.
I get to meet you like this..
I'm Jimin! ) ..after the ”concert“ we can hear a car driving and doors etc.. and at the end he fills something in a glass and drinks it (alcohol)-> then ”like crazy“ starts playing .. but the other sounds are still a mystery to me in the track.. the heavy breathing or walking or the knocking in the beginning after the -dreamy like- Melody.. it’s just SO much!…
but the way the album goes from him being angry in ”face-off“ (with kinda clown (joke) style music at the beginning) to drinking after a concert in ”Interlude:Dive“ then partying in ”Like Crazy“ then waking up in beginning of ”Alone“ (alarm clock startet playing) (while being alone=depressed) then facing his inner thoughts in ”Set Me Free pt 2” and thanking everyone for helping him go thru everything in the song ”Letter” and that he wants to stay together forever etc..really feels like he is telling a story in order!
( and also English is not my first language so sorry for maybe some mistakes..)
💜🙏 that took me way too long😂
Jimin’s song “Alone” is beautiful and deep as well.
Hope you feel better soon!
Jimin is on another level, words are not enough to describe him. You are amazing Park Jimin❤
feel better soon, thank you for sharing your reaction! I am proud of him for being open to share his thoughts, his artistry.
I'm happy that in the end he gave us reassurance that he's ok now by creating Set Me Free pt2.
i loved this song sm. it feels like im floating fr. it could be just a fun party song or late night drive song or it could have a darker/deeper meaning. whatever its so good
Jimin is a Libra--always trying to balance all the different parts of himself. 💜
You got it.
A proud 54 years young Army from Brazil.
both locals and expertise or vocal coachs out there really love his voice bcs of uniqueness etc.
Oh what a coincident jimin is a producer dancer writer and more. Thank you for your great comment about jimin. We. ARMY. We totally love his album
I love everything about him. His voice, his dance and his personality ❤ He is the best!

I don’t know any other artist who is working harder than him. He wants to be better and better and wants to please everyone. Sadly I think that will always be a struggle of him. Hope he finds peace in himself.
This struggle is Jimin’s genius.
What's amazing is that he didn't have any formal voice training. He learn after listening and then practicing.
What Park Jimin Introduction 2022.
Jimin is Art… love him❤
I love watching a professionals' reaction video, becoz they really said the right word no matter if it's critics or praises. they break down the whole video not just gushing at the visuals.
Ngl every time I listen to this song it grows and grows on me it is literally becoming one of my favorite of all the bts + solo songs
he’s been through a lot, but he’s a strong guy and im so glad he’s able to share this with us in such an honest way
this song and music video is completely out of the kpop genre, i love this song
I feel that you are so spot on about this internal tension with himself and struggling with these different side of himself/roles/expectations, both internal and external and hat he communicated that through his music as well
Love this song, it's got Cool For the Summer vibes
JIMIN literally created a masterpiece the album of the year 🎉
Todo artista tem um pouco de loucura, paixão, tristeza e revolta. Jimin provou que é um artista completo. É meu preferido...sempre!

i absolutely LOVE the way you hit the nail on the head everytime. it's so refreshing seeing and hearing you talk about jimin (& the members) because you ACTUALLY know so much more about them than everyone else. so glad i found your channel, never have a bad thing to say.
I really appreciate that you looked into his personal struggles and what goes into his artistry 🥹 like really really appreciate that 🥹❤❤❤
Please support Jimin by buying his album and/or his digital dl so we can keep him at least top 10 on the Billboard. Thank you.
Thank you Blake, I knew you would see this song/MV for what it is…I so appreciate your perceptiveness and insight not only on his solo songs but the other members as well. 💜
And thank you for taking the time to get to know Jimin better.
Hope you are feeling better and doing well.
this guy is a real artist most reactors claim to be vocal coaches or prof dancers when its' cap....this guy really does this
what i notice abt bts is these 10 years isnt their peak or 100% of their creativity and talents. they are really that talented and unique. how they come up with everything with quality increased in every comeback. i always know jimin or jk will be perfect for r&b. but i didn't even realize jimin will kill city pop and jk with soul. and rapline, their range is out of this world.
I've been following your reactions since two three years. Your insight into jimin's artistry and personality is SPOT ON. I wish I could join you into your Patreon but unf I can't afford it. Nevertheless best of luck for future
Here's info that some still aren't aware of:
❣JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from!
Me also understand him and what he want to tell us he suffered alot 😢
I wanted to cry when I listened to all his new songs because I found out that he was in pain too, like us...even more than us...because he couldn't express his feelings and show what was on his mind.. .😢💖
It was certainly very hard and very painful for him...because of the rules of the pandemic, because of his popularity, because of the f...haters...he had to go through this period alone!🥺💜
In this song he says "let me stay in my dream, don't wake me..." 😢 omg, I was in the same emotions... 🥺🥺🥺
This album is really amazing and so good, for me because first of all, I like Jimin's voice, Jimin's dance, Jimin's music... but "FACE" is more than that... that means something very special to me!! !
and I'm sure for many Armys too...
Sa voix du pure cristal❤❤❤❤❤
Sa chanson un vrai bijou
Et Jimin est tout simplement magique ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow! Any story that starts with freak squirrel accident has got to be a good one.
You Hit it on the Nose "Finding Himself Struggle"
Lets go on the journey with him.
thank you💜🦋💜
the way Jimin breaths is also very interesting especially for slow beat songs
you're the first reactor i saw that GETS IT!
even ppl that followed Jimin for a long time failed to grasp the dark side under all the glitter

Jen, you are so right about it staying with you. I thought I was alone thinking about how much the music stays in your head. It lingers with me even right now.
@@Baddiesc7gn Thank You so much for your feedback! It made me tear up knowing there were others who felt the same!!! I CANNOT get #LikeCrazy out of my Head & I LOVE it 🔥🎉 No wonder #JIMINS Masterpiece🌟💓has NOW achieved OVER 110 #1s on iTunes Worldwide💖
I love this so much. My favorite is his hidden track Letter though!!! Its so gorgeous
❤❤❤❤❤
Keep in mind the chronology of the songs on the album…Like Crazy is before SMFP2. So I see SMFP2 as his triumphant ‘finale’ - his resolution…he’s free at the end.
спасибо вам за то ,что так глубоко проникли в суть душевных переживаний Чимина! Ваши комментарии заставили меня заплакать💔💔💔
G DRAGON KING -
Jimin has beautiful voice
An interesting perception of what Jimin is doing musically. I sensed an internal struggle within his music and also in his life. It must be hard to be all things to everyone and balance that with being happy within yourself. In a way he is very honest but there is always more held back that perhaps we may never know about. Either way I love him and his music and will always support him.
Чимин всём нам доверил свои чувства и переживания. Спасибо ему за искренность. Этот клип, трогает душу. А голос волшебный, зачаровывает .
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THE WHOLE ALBUM! All songs are AMAZING! CHills!! I'm addicted!!
Hope you feel better soon!
Thank you for your video Blake
Our Jimin is something else! God has given Jimin such a beautiful voice.
Such a dark album! Happy he expressed himself instead of hiding his past/present? feelings from even himself 💪
Thank you very much for your reaction and comments, I got a lump in my throat. Thanks as always for your comments 💜💜💜🙏✨
I always look forward on ur comments coz u really tell the truth especially on jimin .. His song still I can’t move on .. Thank u ❤❤❤
when you listen to his album from the first to the last song, it'll give you a whole picture of him that we were never shown. and he is so brave as he laid it out there for us to understand him
In what order are the songs in the album placed?
I haven't got mine yet.
@@favouranene6310 Face - Off, Interlude: Dive, Like Crazy, Alone, Set Me Free. Like Crazy (Eng) then the hidden track Letter
@@Kai.T1234 Thanks hun
His album takes you on a journey of the pain and desperation he felt during the pandemic. Please give the album a listen. Hope you feel better soon.
This song is actually inspired by his favorite movie with the same title and he has also said that this song is dedicated to armys 💜
😂😂😂 denuevo sorprendido así son los hermosos colores y dualidad de nuestro bello dios griego park jimin 🥰
You have to read his interviews, he talked about the concept of the album and the story behind each song, you will understand his whole personality and the message he trying to send here
