Someone mentioned or alluded to the power of JC's actual voice in the comments section. JC's voice is THE Powerhouse. Even when he begins a song rather quietly, it's still very strong and powerful (listen to "Thinking of you (I Drive Myself Crazy)" with Chris Kirkpatrick singing the opening verses (his voice is "softer" , not only higher than JC's [in general, that is 😉]). Then listen to the JC version of "I drive Myself Crazy" with JC singing the opening verses. (His voice isn't LOUD when starting the song, but it's strong.) So if you can "make A.I. sound strong", you'll be getting closer to JC...
I know what you're saying, and I agree. I will say I think Chris's voice is great, and I wish he had at least a couple of verses to sing in their discography. Alas, there's always Chip Skylark and his shiny teeth. Regarding JC, his voice is very powerful, and I feel like the singer who sang the original audio - which was then most likely put through AI to sound like JC - isn't singing with enough force. The singer needs to really force the air out of his or her lungs, as if trying to reach the audience in the back row without a microphone. Just because the voice sounds like JC (or whoever your model is based on), doesn't mean you SING like that person. To really nail it, you need to listen to the singer and really focus in on the small details of how they sing. And for those reasons, I like this song, but I don't love it.

Oh, and of course JC does riffs/ runs 🏃♂️, and holds notes in the songs he sings. He would probably sprinkle some into these A.I. songs-- even if they weren't in the original songs. (Not surprisingly, he makes covers sound better than the originals... 👀) Great work/ job to You, btw! ✌
I kinda see what you mean. Certain parts dont really "sync" up with his vocal style and thus dont sound right. However, other parts sound great and I could totally hear him singing it. Still maintain that a song like Perfect by Ed Sheeran or When I was your Man by Bruno Mars would be perfect for JC.

@@marylawrence4724JC has a certain vocal depth (like hearing two tones tied into one voice similar to what you experience listening to double reed instruments or a piano) to his voice, hence why it’s also unique, that and his infamous riffs and runs makes it interesting to listen to him. Most singers will sing a song beautifully, but just sing it straight through and to the book, never adding anything unique that can draw an image in your head with their voices. JC is rare and not like them at all! His massive range alone wasn’t what made him so enjoyable to listen to, he’s able to use his voice to not only paint a picture in your head but convey emotions to a song’s meanings and feelings behind them. Biggest thing that makes AI far inferior to the real JC is the humanity aspect. It makes it sound “perfect” but it cannot mimic connecting to the audience like a real human voice can!
Well if we had the real JC singing we wouldn't need to resort to AI JC voice. This is the next best thing to fill the void. Will keep waiting until the day the real JC decides to sing again as a solo artist. Thank you for the amazing AI JC video on this song.
