- Jake enjoyed Philadelphia but they did not enjoy him. Brad went to a basketball game and has some musings. Five sugar and five cream for my coffee please.

Alright time for me to defend my pot pie. I walk into Chicken N Pickle, see a big sign that says Wednesday special, Chicken Pot Pie for $8.95. Mind you, there isn’t an entree on that menu cheaper than $10 so that immediately catches my eye. Feeling frisky and frugal. The fact that it’s a daily special means it’s made fresh. Also, I’ve eaten there about 100 times and have never tried the pot pie, so figured might as well give it a shot. “I’ll have a pot pie and a water” did feel weird coming out but boy did it feel good going down. Delicious rotisserie chicken and veggies inside, crispy, flaky, buttery crust on top. I was tremendously satisfied with my meal while both Jake and Isaac had qualms about their own orders *security guard from Last Dance shrugging*. Long live the Pot Pie.
I will say this is an epic defence 👍
Haha! Love getting to hear your version of the story! Congrats on the new baby!
Comment of the week is in your future
Love me some pot pie! Good choice!
I've been craving pot pie since they talked about it! 🤣
Watching at midnight because I’m irresponsible.
I've been going through a hard time with my health. I'm on the cusp of retiring & live alone. I couldn't sleep last night & decided to get up too early, take some Tylenol & start the day with my cup of coffee. Your content is just so wholesome or something & I'm so grateful that I can hang out with you.
Who else sooo excited to get this super long episode?! 🎉👏👏 best loving and hilarious entertainment medicine for your soul body and mind!!!! ❤
Loved hearing the Philadelphia stories on CO and loved it even more the second time on this episode 😂
Is there a download link for this? I'd love to use it for my ringtome!!!!
We need an Insta live of Isaac and Rachel playing volleyball👏🏻Also, Brad booing at Jake for going to the Dallas airport had me cracking up!!
We all need a DJ Micael
Totally agree about the history teachers thing!! I had one in 9th grade, and 1/2 a year of 11th- he would black out his door window (so people couldn’t see in from the hall) and he’d put on South Park! And we watched the Patriot 4x in one year… UGH. I definitely lack knowledge of history… 😅
Ghostrunners talking about Nateland is my favorite crossover 😍
Also, THANK YOU for a 2-hour episode!!! Happy Monday to the Ghosties!! 🎉
Sane or Psycho: ordering a pot pie at a Chicken N Pickle. 😂
Should've named it Snack-eal O' Meal instead of Snackle
My friend and I used to ironically call any snack a Snackle because we thought it sounded dumb, and we no longer use it ironically
Y’all kinda ate with the AI photos 😂
DO IT FOR SEABISCUIT!
Congratulations Scott and Sam!!
If I had to rank my favorite of Brad’s impressions they would be as follows: 1. Patrick Mahomes 2. Patrick Mahomes 3. Patrick Mahomes 4. Bo Ellis 5. Donald Trump
Finally watching a full episode without feeling guilty of not doing homework! Great way to start spring break!
My husband views “snacks” the same way that Brad does. Lol
If the promise of bacon in bed delivered by Brad Ellis doesn’t get Nick on board, idk what will
You guys always talk about this McLains place. Until this very moment I thought McLains was a sporting goods store. I don’t know why, but for the last 10 months, I imagined a giant sports store - think Cabellas or Bass Pro Shop. Deer heads on the wall, fishing department, basketball hoops, sample tents set up everywhere, a giant fish tank. It’s a whole world inside my head. Needless to say, it’s been the image in my head for many a story. The one that always stayed with me was Brad taking his kids there on a Saturday morning to play board games. Weird? Sure. But I never questioned it, just thought it was a bizarre place for board games.
Today I finally googled it. It is a bakery.
My world is no longer the same.
My dad and all the church staff where he served used to get an annual free ham from the local funeral home. It felt so wrong to me… like, can you prove that’s pork? So yes, I’ve gotten free ham before. But I’d rather have a Good Ranchers ham for sure! 😂
Y’all helped me cheer up on this “spring forward” Monday after getting three kiddos to school. Thanks!
“Do it for seabiscuit!” 🤣🤣🤣 I’m rollin’!
It’s not South Padre with great sunrises but I am watching this while across the street from the beach in Galveston.
the "town" of Dallas? Dallas, South Dakota? 🤣
Watching at midnight cause daylight savings time
Do you remember when Brad broke Trey's vase in People Pleasers part 2? After he did that the caption said "10k likes and Brad will break something else." Well it's at 10k likes. I would love to see Brad break something else 😁
I came here from Spotify just to see what Brad was snacking on the whole episode. Lol
When Brad started talking about his “snack” of a cheeseburger… well actually a McDouble… well actually a McDouble and a fry- this is not a snack haha
17:32 Michael and the Uber Driver (this timestamp is for me cuz I will need this for a surprise)
I loved Brad's random basketball game observations! Your insight on such overlooked things is definitely an under-rated aspect of your comedy skills!
Brad talking about how he’s never had Cinnabon made me think about how he went to college at K-State and how in Manhattan Kansas our version of Cinnabon in the mall is Mrs. Powell’s. So, Brad my question for you is when you were in Manhattan Kansas for college did you ever go to the mall and have Mrs. Powell’s? It’s the only original store left in the mall and it’s been there since the mall opened in 1989. I work there now and apparently nothing about it has changed. I can’t help but wonder if Brad Ellis ever came up to the counter and ordered anything.
Re-listening to episodes 222 & 223. The Florida trip episodes with the ghosties. And I can help but wonder, are we going to get another Jean shorts video out of the upcoming Ghostie Getaway?!?
I’m pretty sure in their list of things included in getting to go on the getaway it has “be in a Jean Shorts video” so I would say that’s a yes. 👏🏻😊
Started on Spotify and had to head over omce the BDA hype vid begam
Happy Monday!! I think a Mcdonalds cheeseburger is for sure a snack. Acai bowl depends on the size. Also I grew up on Ovaltine, had it almost every day.
I saw Nate Saturday and he had Jimmy Fallon open for him sooo I think my opening acts were better than yours hahahaha
As a college guy living in Philly, it’s not all that bad 😂
I find the two of you much funnier than Shultz. I find his podcast unbearable to push through. You guys rock!
Sitting at the airport, eating Auntie Anne’s cinnamon pretzel bites as I listen. 🤣
1) Gosh dang it, Creeper Davis is tarnishing the Davis name! Btw, I have no relation to him. But it’s funny how his last name is also Davis!
2) that Uber driver that yelled at you while driving safely, I want to see that turned into a Jean Shorts vid!
3) “His pants were undone, and so they were kinda falling down. Have you been giving trips to Paddle-phelia today?” Rolling in the floor on that one!
Yes to number 2!!
I can relate to Isaac when Brad said he was “into Lauv for a second” I loved them for a couple months and havnt listened since 😂
Let em watch !!
Love you guys but have to defend Scott’s pot pie choice. Pot pie is such a classic comfort food! It’s also a meal I can make that all my kids eat without complaining, so always a win at my house. 😊 Also, a sentence commonly heard at my house is “who forgot to fill the ice trays” so yes, some of us still live with that minor inconvenience. Lol.
Pot pies are not inherently bad. They're a formidable option for a home cooked meal. But public pot pies are the things of psychos.
🤝
@@GhostrunnersPodcast But what if it’s like a home style cookin’ or family type restaurant? I’ve been to some great family restaurants that have amazing pot pies!
New Englander here…love chicken pot pie, almost exclusively buy Cape Cod chips, ice cubes are in trays, and, paternal grandparents are Jewish. 🤷🏻♀️
🤝
BOOOOOOOOOOOO
Yea, I live near Philly. People from Philly are so petty lol. Any chance they get to talk about the Eagles, they take it. 😂
Also, GO COUGS
1:11:48 Jake 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Go Cougs!!!
