Day 7 Vila Praia de Ancora to A Guarda 15 kms

Another favourite section - I loved Vila Praia Ancora, had a great meal purchased in the community square and a fantastic hotel (Hotel Mira) and beach. I stopped on the way out of town and attended a church service all in Portuguese where an elderly woman in the back pew touched my knee and immediately I broke into tears. I had some weird dreams too - so obviously I was processing stuff!
Was also where my mum made an appearance ( I was going to scatter her ashes ) on the border of Portugal and Spain. That was a highlight before I got on a small boat and a fisherman (Stefan) took me across to Spain.
