Hey there! So when I was at Leatherwood Ford for an aid stop, one of my crew members mentioned that a TH-camr had just been there that they recognized, but I was so out of it from just hiking 330 miles that I didn't give it a second thought....but glad we got to bump into you at the O&W Bridge! Sorry I couldn't stick around and chat, lol, but I did get the new Fastest Known Time! 6 days, 9 hours for the 343 miles. Happy hiking!
Looked like a beautiful fall day! So glad to see you back out and enjoying nature! Can't believe you ran into Jason Wish! I subscribe to his channel and have been watching his live feeds. Great video!! 😊
Love it! Go there all the time! Anytime you need someone to hike with there hit me up. Close to home and hike there a lot.! I have hiked the whole Shetowee Trace Trail. Thanks for sharing
Hi Braids 👋 It's great to see you hiking in the fall. It's so cool that you all have a John Muir Trail over that way! It is definitely beautiful over there! These fall colors are just magnificent! Lunch looked good, too! 😊 I love the sound of the crunching leaves under your feet!
You are in my favorite hiking area - The Big South Fork. Looks like perfect timing on leaf season. Yes, Devils Den is a huge rock shelter. There are quite a few interesting geological formations in the BSF. I am always amazed by the perfect patterns, of round holes , in many of the rocks. There is a nice place to camp on the top of the hill over the top of Devils Den. Nice view also. I also camped one night next to the big house size rock near the O&W Bridge. ( It was after dark when I got there - so didn't think that I would bother anyone.)
Nice to see you back on a trail. There were some nice colors. We just drove from MI to MN and saw tons of colors at their peak. Then we drove across lower MI and tons of colors there too. John from MI
Great to see you hiking again. I hope someday you can get some time off to do the Sheltowee Trace Trail. This looks like it would be a perfect time of the year to do it. 👣😎👍
I live in Anderson Co. I have been to BSF three times this month lol my husband doesn't like it like I do so I do solo as well. Would love if you lead a group one! I bet many of us would go ❤
You had a great day to hike. I have been to that bridge on my horse. Sat on that rock too for a break. Thank you for the video. You didn't happen to see any loose horses when you were there, did you? There are a couple of missing horses loose at this time.
I dated a girl from Scott County for 8 years she talked about hiking to the sand caves but I never did go I believe they're real cool from what she said they where in Big Ridge State Park I believe
Oh! the foods you can enjoy while day hiking versus through hiking. Yummy!

I'm afraid to go hiking by myself I'm a 6 ft 1 230 lb I was in the Navy for 3 years I wouldn't go by myself lol
Braids, you're a lot younger than I am. Im 60 yo. Would you consider doing a video on how to prepare mentally for the AT thru-hike?
I dated a girl from Scott County for 8 years she talked about hiking to the sand caves but I never did go I believe they're real cool from what she said they where in Big Ridge State Park I believe
Never ever stop hiking and exploring braids it's in your blood that's what you do
National Park not State Park
Oh wow yes you’re right! Thanks I’ve always been under the assumption it’s a state park. I’ll have to update my title.
