Yeah, I think it was in one of the Goblin's shooting that LKS purposely come to say hello. LKS was so respectful to the crews and actors that GY or the director made a joke about how much he bend his body to bow to everyone
when the pd offered him to create his last episode.. he said.. I want to go to Han river.. (remember how everyone cried in that episode?) He wanted to have a simple meal with the members.. even his wish is not about him.. but about them.. as a whole.. And yes.. we all catch even Bo Pil cried.. it is true when ppl say.. manners maketh men.. Godspeed Kwang soo.. May lady luck always smile on you.. I miss u already.

When he was injured with the car issue, Jee Seok Jin, Yang Se Chan, Jeon Somin said during his sick period to "recover fast", they tried so make us laugh but they cannot do it. (Laugh challenge in SBS Tour).

If you actually watch Kwang Soo during Running Man you clearly see he is such a caring person, he always sees if someone needs something or need help.
So many instances during these years in Running Man when you can see Kwang Soo taking care of everyone, small things but those small things add up.
And everyone know he is always giving his absolute best.
His Character is also very rare in Korea entertainment industry.
For me the lack of Kwang Soo hurts so much, and RM will never be the same for me.
I really hope he can finally heal his injuries, and come back to either RM or something else. I will always support Kwang Soo

The first time i saw RM, i thought LKS just a guy who always do whatever he wants, but after following him 11 years and doing re-run, he is the one who give a live to the show, when episode look boring, he make it chaotic and give a laugh, supporting the other and give their spotlight. I think he is one of tv persona that allowed to do be a fool, cheater, bully, but loved by the viewers. Thank you kwang soo

"Raise up the height for the viewers" this hit me so hard. I remember him being so afraid and nervous @ that time as well, but he still did it for the entertainment purpose, for us. Remembering back, it did crack me up when it was his turn for the challenge but rewatching the episode again, i might cry this time. What a selfless man Kwang Soo is.
i used to hate running man.. its my wife been watching from the start.. so occasionally i sneaked a peek... and it was kwang soo that had me hooked to this show,so my thanks to him for making me laugh all this years, gonna miss you man.
in the last episode lee kwang soo showing us his real personality in this episode he always smiling when other member mocking him event give a brighter smile then a rest. not become angry or attacking like usual. he is a good man acting as a jerk to entertain the fans.

Actor and actress see comedian as more of a low job compare to them but they don’t see how hard working these comedians are. Always coming up with different way to make people laugh.
I beg to differ. Actors/actresses and idols who are good at verity show are viewed highly. Sejong and hani for instance. And we got Park Min Young, Lee Seung Gi, Cha Tae Hyun, and song ji hyo too. All are A list artist with a hint of verity show talent. It just that sometimes some actors must hold certain images, thus the agency usually forbids them to go to verity show, in hope they don't show their human and clumsy side, and inherently wreaks their bad boy/ hero character in their perspective movies. I honestly think this is false impression. When in fact, fans wants to see the actor/actress character in real life, no matter how different they are from the movie. It shows how RM episodes who host A list actors like Gong Yo/Park Bo Gum/ Jo In sung / Suzy always have high rating. I hope their agencies realize that being a good verity show entertainer and good actor is not mutually exclusive. 😭 This views has shift in recent years and hope they too would send more and more actor to verity show.
What he meant was from the award ceremony for like Jae Suk. A lot actors/actress did not clap for him when he got grand award while an actor or actress gets it most of them clap

Jeez, the dude went to shoot a couple of episodes in crutches after having a car accident. What more do you need to know about his attitude towards the job? I honestly think he's starting to think about his health and future, specially with his girlfriend SunBin, that's why he left the show. We know how the years of Running Man has taken tolls on the members' bodies. Even if he's not my favorite member and he's not the leader-type, I know he's the 2nd most important member of the group after Yoo Jae Suk in terms of entertainment value.
i remember seeing his medicine all over his mouth in that episode.

Idk why but i find it very hard for me to accept kwang soo leaving the show. I watched the show bcs of him. I remembered there’s was episodes when kwang soo was absent bcs he sick or accident, and those episode doesn’t seems funny to me. It really broke me when now, he’s no longer there.. love u kwangsoo. May u did well in life and wherever u may be.

I am truly happy that I can finally see how wonderful of a person you are during this final episode, and how much you mean to the members and staff.
The hyungs did their best to send you off with a smile, because they didnt want you feeling sad about leaving, and also preventing others from crying as well. The members all shared their final moments with Kwang Soo on set.
Sukjin - feel touch cross, and just smiling every time he sees Kwangsoo
Jaesuk- always teasing him and trying to lighten the mood
Jongkook - vocally voicing his moral support, and had his arm around kwangsoo
Haha - teasing kwangsoo and voicing his moral support
Jihyo - crying and was in distraught, as she is known to cry
Somin - crying and talked about not having to worry for the show
Sechan - crying as kwang soo was his support
I strongly believe that Kwang Soo was the glue to running man. He had formed a great relationship with everyone on set, that no matter what the location or scene was if kwang soo was there, it would already be fun and entertaining itself no matter who paired up with him. Even the PD was crying in the early scenes of the episode. Sukjin was about to leave the show, but thanks to the character development with kwang soo with the feel, touch, cross he decided to stay. He almost broke down upon hearing that the presents were actually from Kwang Soo himself, but composed himself again.Jaesuk even tried to lighten the mood, while scanning the room as he did not want Kwang Soo to feel even more sad. When he said "It wasn't boring because of you" was not only implied on Running man but also his life. It hit me extra hard. Jongkook, the one that is always nagging, did not nag at all this episode, as you can feel how sad he really is without even saying. He was acting as the emotional pillar of support this episode, with his arm around him. Haha, normally would just keep feeding others for funny content while being respectful was a spectator today, and kept trying to enjoy every last moment while watching Kwang Soo. He was seen repeatedly looking up with tears in his eyes but he tried his best to hold back. Jihyo did extremely well today, as we all know she cries a lot. She did her best to send Kwang Soo off, as he was also the reason for her staying on the show. He held onto her when she didnt feel like she fit in with all the guys when she was the only female cast on the show. Kwang soo helped build Somin's character as the female counterpart/ love interest when guests came on the show. Also the crazy/ fun part. And sechan, with countless moments of the two. Kwang Soo had helped him build his character as another love interest when guest arrive. But the shy kind and not knowing what to do gave many laughs.
Finally Kwang Soo, I know how nice of a person he is, but today on set he finally showed his true self. Where he picked all the food/ locations of where all the members had the best times and not himself. He bought presents and actively tried to get the same number of pictures because he wanted the presents to be delivered on the show, and he knows it would be hard to do in person as they might not accept it. He was trying to hold in his tears the entire episode, and smiled to try and hide it. You can feel the warmth he gives to the members and cast.
Although I am sad about his departure. I am glad to have found him and the Running man show.
Have you guys noticed, in all of their letters it was "You can do whatever you want now without penalties now" .But as for his reasoning (injury), and the recent post of the Korean entertainment hierarchy, I would be utterly disgusted if the real reason was because of that. Because he is portrayed a certain way on the shows, therefore whenever he gets cast in drama or movies his character remains the same, so once he leaves the show he can obtain a new image. And that may be the reason he is so sorry to the running man crew. So in their letters they all said now you can do whatever you dream of. As a way to let him know, dont worry about us and go achieve what you wanted to achieve as an actor. And come visit us "i.e when you promote these dramas/movies"

There's something I wanna add. Jae suk, suk jin and kwangsoo are really afraid of height, if their Heart is not strong enough, they will end up dying or stroke. But all 3 of them always accept the challenge and doesn't let us down. They definitely have our respect !!! Im a man with 37 years old, I cried too during kwangsoo last episode. So fans, Please respect his decision due to his health. Afterall, his main job is an actor. He will visit RM as a guest, so dont worry.

Yes!! This is a fam that no other show can beat. He is all in for his fam, fan and staff.
His comedic scenes are my favorite thing to see in each episode of RM. I never find it boring or try hard, it always makes me laugh like an idiot whenever I watch RM and he makes a funny scene. My favorite episode of RM is the one that he gets all the penalty floors in the Elevator Bit and the all raw egg episode at the sauna.

This is probably for new viewers or casual Running Man viewers because the rest of us know how hard Lee Kwang Soo works. He's also a humble, kind, caring and well-mannered person. Not only does he take care of the cast both the older and younger members, but he's been great with the staff as well as the guests.
In both movies and dramas, he ends up being good friends with his cast mates. In the earlier episodes when senior actors he's worked with come on the show, you can see how they dote on him because they like him so much and the younger, newer actors respect and like him as well.
He truly loves Running Man and if not for his health issues, he'd probably be on the show till the very last episode. I can't really remember when and where, but I remember him expressing this sentiment somewhere.
