That's just a clio engine on thicker oil I suppose , why does it need a f1 like engine warm up?

So they run the engine up like this in the workshop to check for leaks and to confirm everything is working as it should because likely the engine & gearbox will have been removed while they prep the car between race weekends.
They warm the car up like this before it goes on track because the oil is thicker and you don’t want to damage the engine, you also need to warm up the gearbox, also you don’t want a huge temperature shock when the car goes from stone cold in the pits to going out on track. Unlike in a road car you push the performance instantly in a racecar which means things don’t get a chance to gradually warm up which causes more wear. Can’t confirm for this particular car but the thermostat is likely removed too which means it can take longer for fluids to get up to optimum temperature

Is the inlet aftermarket? Have you tried to get any more power out of the motor?

I doubt it, the engine is sealed by the championship, you have to have the official Renaultsport engine, if so much as a wrong bolt is used you are disqualified
