I just really like the podcast and love how you give people the space to talk, listen to them and play off of them. Even if you sometimes don’t agree on what they say 😊
Im really happy to hear of Judaism Im a Muslim and learned about Islam and Christianity, but Judaism has always felt like a mystery to me. It was really educational and my heart leapt when I recognised Robby saying "sadaqah" for giving to charity. ^_^
I've had debates/conversations with people who have similar points as Robby and it never fails to drive me up the wall haha-- I think to really believe these points requires a willingness to disengage from historical context (the points about queerness don't hold up once you bring in the historical context of queerness and then also recognize that this historical context is also a present day circumstance for most of the world, including parts of the US) and human suffering (we're here for a short time, definitely, but does the shortness of life make unnecessary suffering any less acceptable?).

I saw Robby on After Midnight and have gone down the Robby Hole….this podcast because the only time people cut each other off is in excitement/to joke and everyone laughs. Most podcasts they interrupt each other constantly and you can feel each person getting more annoyed. Robby is so prolific and hilarious. The guys were perfect hosts and everyone was a great listener. subscribed ❤
"Maybe heaven is boring" I am an atheist now, but when I was young and religious still I always thought that heaven sounded really unsatisfying. Gold streets in the clouds. I thought that if I was in heaven, I wanted it to be a place of natural beauty. Like a giant national park that combines the best parts of every national park and nature reserve. Except you get to live there in a house that is built exactly the way you want it. I was also upset at the prospect of not being able to eat good food anymore. I thought, if all the fun parts of normal life were gone then what was the point?
What’s the problem? My nephews, both divorced from they’re wives… got together with them they’re new boyfriend’s And my nephews new girlfriends and they all went to Yellowstone park and had a great time camping together! Nobody fell off a cliff! Amazing!
I wish men would take the hint finally and cross the street and stuff. The other day on my power walk a tall dude was catching up to me behind me bcs he caught up with his mile long legs... He was on my heels for a whole street instead of just going past me. When I took my right turn he greeted me and looked amused, propably had a whole little race with me by himself. Really wanted to tell him that he's just been acting like a predatory creep, but alas I'm not picking fights with 2 meter adult men at sundown....
I love carrots, and peanut butter. Never together, THUS FAR, but that sounds like a great combination, now that it's been brought to my attention. I love chewing on raw carrots, but now that I m elderly I always get low key afraid that it will make my teeth come loose.
The question is... were there other actors who were trans AND better than Russel? Probably not. They picked the best actor. I'd only have a problem with it if a trans person wasn't given the opportunity, because they are trans. Doubt that was the case in Titanique.
