    Appreciate the insight. As someone who lives MDS I would make a few clarifications. The Discharge MDS is valuable if a loved one is sent to the hospital because it is reflective of their status the day they left the nursing home (good to know if they had a pressure injury before they went to the hospital and what stage it was). Section J is also important to review falls. The nurse signing at Z0500 is not signing for accuracy they are signing for completion. The attestation statement is for those signing at Z0400.
