Only the 2013 explorers’ lights synchronize to the siren

That high pitch "whine" @0:20 makes me think of your videos, regardless of where I hear it ;) Oh, and it looks like I'm #4 to comment lol

The CHP car @1:00-1:08 Watch the light pattern with the siren sound- that's the way the current builds work. Wig-wag fog lights on Wail, goes "Wall of light" (all lights flash together with Yelp (solid forward red stays solid regardless of siren choice).
The agency fun begins with "what happens when you go to "Park". Some agencies like the siren being cut off as soon as the car is put in Park- its one less thing to fiddle with as the officer is trying to climb out of the car. Some agencies like the headlight wig-wag to stop on Park as well. Couldn't guess how many opinions and variations of this exist- but I'm sure it keeps the car builders' kids in college...

T210 Texas DPS just recently started to steady burn the front of the whelen lightbar like CHP, some do it usually they cut off the front and leave the takes downs on at night

@@Efgarcia-yu9zi Thanks. Interestingly, the only emergency light that is required in California is a solid red, front facing, red. Everything else has rules to follow, but is for style points... ;-)

T210 I see, sometimes I see one or two with different light patterns cause some troopers change them to get people’s attention when responding, Tx requires red facing and rear facing but we’re a Red/Blue state which is pretty cool

@@Efgarcia-yu9zi I think that's true most places. I'm unconvinced various light patterns and siren sounds make a damn bit of difference- the vendors sure love it, as they can differentiate their wares. But if one (sound or pattern) is better- then why not use only that one all the time? It would be hard to build a data set that demonstrates superiority- the ability to repeat a test would be impossible and so... its back to what "seems" to work.
