Appreciate your feedback and your point of view. But there are lot of points that still make it a brilliant tourer which needed a mention.
    1. It's got a super refined engine and now feels much smoother in the lower revs. Makes cruising at tripe digit speeds effortless with minimal vibration.
    2. Although the specs might seem low on paper, it's still got an all new ECU that makes it quicker and refined in the low revs. Also the bigger rear sprocket has made the bike quicker. Lot of manufacturers claim certain power figures and their speedo show top speeds. But the mojo has one of the least power drop from the crank to rear wheel. Or even has very less speedo error. And this is claimed not by me but certain guys who've tested the bike on dyno and are into ECU remapping. Certain bajaj bikes have close to 10% speedo error. I can be doing 130kmph on mojo with an NS next to me doing 140kmph on speedo and still be faster. Try it to beleive it.
    3. I've personally hit a top speed of 157kmph and that's recorded. Could hit 140s several times. There is even videos of another vlogger who has hit 140 kmph with a pillion. Probably the bike you rode is brand new and in the run in period which needs to open up to feel smoother and faster.
    4. If you leave aside the specs on paper, It's still quicker than bikes like the Dominar 250, Duke 250, husky 250s, much quicker than the Himalayan and they're all around the same price point. The mojo offers better build quality and refinement compared to all of these motorcycles.
4.. The telescopic suspensions also now make the bike feel a lot lighter in the front making it very nimble, unlike the old version that felt front heavy and made it a bit difficult to maneuver. The bike is a lot more easy to adapt to even for riders upgrading from smaller motorcycles and experienced riders can have a lot of fun with the improved handling. The weight on paper is the curb weight with 21L fuel capacity. Dry weight is under 170kgs.
    5. Although i miss the dual exhaust myself, the single exhaust now has been raised up for better cornering clearance. Makes carving corners on ghats easier.
    6. The brakes now with dual channel abs now are one of the best in segment and inspire a lot of confidence. Use them in the right ratio of 70:30 and it'll work brilliantly.
    7. The build quality is one of the best you get at the price. It may not have the fancy tft screen or "slipper clutch" that's useful on race tracks. But still is one of the best touring motorcycles in the country. Brilliant ergonomics, refined engine, good brakes, good tires, good stability at high speeds, good tank range, and superb build quality still make it one of the best touring motorcycle in the segment.
I very much respect your opinion and appreciate your feedback which we'd all love to see in the mojo. It's your point of view and your expectation from mahindra as a mojo fan. I also would love to see those upgrades. But some how i feel the positives of the bike have been overshadowed. Not everybody would want the enormous 40bhp and 40nm torque like the KTMs. Everybody doesn't look at just the bhp and torque as a deciding factor. Although I'd myself love the mojo to have some more power, a lot of people love the mojo for it's versatile nature of how it can cruise effortlessly at triple digits and still have the juice when you need it for the high speed bursts and with almost no vibration.

1.Where are the steel braided brake lines ? Any comments on that as well
2.What about Adjustable clutch and brake levers ,I think they are usable too in touring as well .
3.An assist clutch will also help in commuting.isn't it ?
4.Drls missing ,how they helped in making bike better ??
      5. And last most important even if I just ignore all in name of mojo only 2 dealership in National capital ??
And do ask mojo website owner to upload this review as well as they upload others instead of making one for the capable beast 🙄

@@aftabpathan3148 i think it's better you test ride the bike to see where it has improved. It has become more refined. And there's a major improvement in handling and braking.
      1. It has the steel braided lines. Its in black colour that's all. The braking on the new mojo abs is one of the best in segment. Try it to believe it.
      2. Many bikes stilldon't have them.
3 it's better to have. Even i wish it was there. But it's really not necessary. It's necessary on tracks. But yes it's always better to have. There are bikes like RE 650s that have so called slipper clutch. Mojo's feels much better than that.
      4. Yupp they should hand retained it.
      5. I believe it's still more than bmw or benalli or Honda bigwing. In Bangalore mojo has 3. Bmw, honda bigwing, bennell have only 1 each.
You should try the bike before passing judgement. Yes it misses out a few things. But is still one of the best tourers. It handles way better than the old gen mojo and has much better brakes.

@@realdevbro447 I think you have ridden a very ill-maintained bike. The smoothness of a vehicle's engine depends on how one maintains the engine. The Mojo indeed has a very smooth engine. Regarding pillion comfort, I agree with you. The BS3 bikes had the worst pillion seats. I own one, so I know how bad the pillion seat is. However, the BS4 and BS6 bikes have fantastic pillion seats. The sore point is, I can't get a BS4 styled seat for my BS3 bike. So basically, I have to live with the shitty seat. One more sore point of the bike is its headlights. They are very weak.

One of the best touring bikes at an affordable price.. extremely underrated.. I don’t understand what he is trying to say. It’s closely priced and powered to the duke 250. It’s way refined and smoother than the BMW g310. You don’t need 40ps of power because this power is more than sufficient to cruise comfortably at 130 and tops almost at 160 and at this power mileage is also good enough. And it’s priced similar to the Himalayan which is not smooth enough. Even strell who reviewed this bike has accepted it’s much better and better buy than some of its completion and every single soul who reviewed the bike has shared positive reviews except him .Completely biased review.

Yeah 40ps power is not required for touring but i don't understand why they keep downgrading this bike.. They have removed the golden usd fork and dual exhausts but the price is still going up. With every update they are removing its signature part's which contributes to its unique style. Its not unique anymore. It looks like a regular commuter. In previous bikes the exhaust keeps scraping the ground while cornering.. But they didn't do anything about it. instead of increase the height of exhaust They just simpliy made it to a single exhaust bike

Bro, you don't have a dealer in city like chennai and whatever technology you give bro, it won't make out. Minimum 4 dealers each in every zone north, east, west, south in major cities like chennai is must. Service network and spares availability with initially a cut throat pricing on par with 250cc's will give a decent launch. Just one change in the bike is that replacing the owl like face with round LED lights like the hero xpulse. Maybe Mahindra is too focussed on Jawa and they don't want another brand to become big or cannibalize their own brand.

But mahindra is not doing any justice to the bike , they simply ignoring sensible customers .. no marketing no showroom availability in most parts.. if they poor in marketing people don't hear about this and less sales which is also bad thing for those who own it.... Sad man.. I love this bike but I won't buy it because I don't want to risk lack of spare parts since showroom is 100km away and they have to wait for spare parts from Bangalore or Pune....

I am sorry but the Mojo Tribe fanboys are brigading hard on every BS6 Mojo review video on youtube. You'll find the same bunch of accounts bullying commenters and reviewers who do not post favorable opinions. Really fed up of this toxic cult! Why can't they understand the bike is niche and will generate strong opinions? Fact remains that Mojo sold 0 bikes in Nov 2019 all over India. Fact remains that their ASC network is hanging by a thread. Once production stops the qualified ASC technicians will move on to other jobs. Whether the bike itself is good or bad is purely based on individual opinions. Mojo Tribe fanboys, it's good if you like your bike. Don't shove it down others' throats and stop bullying others if they are disappointed with the bike. It's their choice!

  • @sibarshisdutta
    @sibarshisdutta 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

You are speaking sense! No matter how much ever we try to defend, deep down we all know that this bike needed upgradation. I mean it had decent power figure but why downgrade? I understand it has a smooth engine but is that should be the sole selling point of a bike? As a buyer of the first set of mojo, me along with many riders had given our feedback directly to the engineers but alas nothing has been upgraded! Imagine if they had improved certain factors as you have mentioned - power, the headlight and the meter console! I, personally would have considered buying it again even if there was a price hike and I am sure many would agree with me. And when we speak about touring, they also need to improve their network of service centers. I am an owner of the first batch and I genuinely want improvement and not degradation.

Mahindra just needs something in this segment. They are not bothering about sales, when they have good numbers with classic legends. Mahindra might not kill the bike either. It's a big loss when no one is considering this anymore. They should do something out of the same platform and sell it alongside jawa and yezdi

Not sure the about the new Mojo, but the older variant truly delivered the muscle and the range. No doubt looks weird but I really had the best experience when I was touring. Can you imagine a bike with touring range of 625KM per tank? on 90 cruising speed? Yes, this was a possibility with the old Mojo! These days they call a 11 litre tank a touring bike. What a Joke!
