Im pretty sure theres an endings menu somewhere. You can see posible routes and things needed to start endings.(Theres an ending for every character)
My best advice to get an ending is to just focus on one character at a time and just follow through with what they ask.
Also if you colect all of the monstermon cards you get the "real ending."

Tips for the game! (No big spoilers)
At recess if you have the bucket of blood you can dump it on cindy or lily by being on the monkey bars and dumping it on them when they are under.
I believe there is a way to get to the nugget cave without dying if you become nuggets close friend.
Jerome is the principles son meaning if you are Jerome’s friend you can get a few favours like a principles hall pass to get through the guy in the hall.
Another way to get past the guy in the hall is to buy cigarettes from Monty and give them to him.
You can talk to the teacher and do a favour for a star (one of which involves the bully)

Do jerome,cindy or the teachers missions first all the other require the item that you got from other quests lilys mission is last requiring monty nugget and buggs missions montys quest needs jeromes quest buggs needs the teachers quest and nugget needs cindys quest.
