Road trip to Old PICOP Paper Mill

If only the old buildings could talk, what stories they could tell. Being in the Industrial field for over 40 yrs I enjoyed seeing all the old building and machinery

Remenber pko sauna anha ko sa admin office makigkita kang Mr Feuntes nahimong presidente sauna pra mangaplay lng ug trabaho.. And i was accepted as an auto - electrician of light and heavy equiptmnt which lead me to step up untill now to go abroad.. My father also is a service driver of staff status personnel. My mother was giving birth 2 of us in this memorial hospital while bus is roaming around mangagoy and back to hospital for free.. What a simple and wonderful memories living in this place. We lived in F. Clar St. Mangagoy.we are 11 children in the family, all of us are professionals bcoz of this company.my father was assigned as an operator in the Veneer plant operation.i saw plenty of plywoods with PICOP logo. grabeh jd mi kabibo,during christmas, we recieved many gifts from Soriano group of Company, the owner of this PICOP company. pila ang anak sa empleyado mao sab ang gifts madawat.but after Marcos was impeached, so sad, wa man lagi ma asenso ang nasud,nagkalisod lisod naman noon. now duterte has come,nakita na nato karon na everything is slowly coming back. Mabuhay ang Duterte administration.For the future of our young generation.

Naalala ko lng sa mga Daan na ito when I was small my father was an employee of picop and my mother making bibingka to sale in the street of post one and road I always walk going to the hospital.. Its sad but I wish it be open again a new dream of new generations to operate thank you for sharing with us hope I will meet you soon and collab inside picop compound God bless...
