Facts. Math needs to stop making music or whatever you wanna call it. His whole aura or look doesn’t fit for the culture. Stick to interviews please I beg of you. Take wale and logic with you too.
@joseph_the_human basically. I wish cats would stop telling homie how to create his content. It's been played and he gets his views up by them hating anway.
I honestly think he’s in a position to give local artist opportunity to do a spotlight with his show like the old DVDs local talent needs somewhere to shine nobody’s breaking artist
This was a great interview.. salute ya'll on knowing what to ask.. I love all the gems and history tidbits. He's a legend who doesn't get talked about enough but as he said he never wanted to be a celebrity.. props on this one team MEO. one thing I Ould tie in was the question about his depression and having to endure that much loss from family to artist to mentors over time must be a heavy burden
There was a group from the West Coast named Havoc and Prodeje. I remember seeing the group Havoc & Prodeje on the soundtrack for “Tales From The Hood” and thinking it was supposed to be Mobb Deep.
South Central cartel had two members named havoc & prodigy. I think they spelled it differently. probably just a crazy coincidence I seriously doubt they bit those names from that obscure West Coast group.
100% they didn't. Prodigy already stated he liked how the name sounded & Hav got his name from Tragedy, who at that time was like a young legend. Rip Prodigy. Legends. 3 platinum albums. Who cares about SSC.
@ lol I made pretty clear I didn’t think they copied the the names. But it’s true there was a west coast group that had the same names. It’s just crazy that happened. I love P was my favorite rapper during the murder music and HNIC time.
@ oh I actually didn’t know that I just remembered hearing about it. I was a big fan of west coast when I was really young and South Central cartel was on the tales from the hood soundtrack so I bought one of their CD.
Steve Rifkind is one of my favorite executives in hip hop. Loud Records had a line-up of true spitters in Big Pun, Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, Xzibit & others. Never knew Big Pun called Steve Rifkind to leave the fat farm so he can take his daughter to her first day of school and that Steve Rifkind offered him money per pound he lost.
First time really hearing Steve's thoughts on the Wu, Pun, Prodigy etc the list goes on and on, respectfully. Anyway another outstanding interview with Math and his MEO team. Math can't stop won't stop winning
Math!!! What's good why didn't you let Steve speak on Dead Prez... both times you stopped the flow and never got back Steve had to remember a specifictime... what's happenin........ Agent86
The spotify 'splits' are down to the artists distribution deal, region of listeners and what type of account they hold. Very hard to keep accountable of.
@ he did but the flood took away the original album he did. They had to remake the album again in a few weeks using different beats/ songs so it might have been much better originally
Lord Jamar’s 1st verse clearly in his new record clearly shows a disdain for PR’s & Jamaicans. Secondly he says there was no influence from those groups yet he attempts to drop patois in Love Me Or Leave Me Alone and has a rapper doing some patois on Step Into Da Cipher…and on that Sam record there is a rapper who is white who raps after Lord Jamar and drops the N bomb. Bottom line is Lord Jamar found out he had some Guyanese heritage and literally came sucking at the teat of “FBA” when some people questioned his FBAness. Sad really.
@ good question. The show/podcast has been doing horribly in the past 18 months from the constant host changes to lack of interest to be in the show from people in the industry they claim to know or be respected by. It’s trash now
@@SymbianBlack And you listen to a song twice on Spotify. Also no difference. When did people get so dumb. You are not watching TV. You can skip. I can smell the entitlement on you.
The fact that Rifkind isn't brought up as often as he needs to be is nasty work. This man has a big footprint in hiphop. One of the biggest
Mecca need his own show ! He got good questions and a good point of view
As soon as I start hearing Math’s terrible songs…it’s a automatic fast forward to the actual interview 🤣

He obviously doesn't read the comments. Or doesn't care .

Man we were robbed of Decks album and even Meths first album by RZA’s flood
Meth’s? Ain’t he have one of the first solo albums? I thought it was just Deck…shame too…that Deck solo woulda been incredible
@ he did but the flood took away the original album he did. They had to remake the album again in a few weeks using different beats/ songs so it might have been much better originally
Havoc and Prodigy from South Central Cartel.

Just my opinion the one religion can't deny is alll people are no different because we're all human first before taught a religion which is aidiogy 😮
Mecca trying to get Jew to save another Jew…. For what? You already done the damage.
WENT FROM HOOPIN EERYDAY 2 HEART ATTACK WOMEN R THE DEVIL👻

You need to be careful around people that need a third hand to count the things they hate about life.
He’s saying nothing different then what the ny pioneers were saying in the phenomenal documentary “microphone check”
That FBA shit is a scam 😂
Like I don’t know what it is, but this show overall has become boring.
Kim is so Beautiful
Kim is the hottest 🤩 she is so fly I'm in gangster love for real xx😂😂
Mecca is wild unlikeable
He is. He thinks he knows everything & is a type of person who only respects the ppl in charge u can tell.
This is the same interview he did twice in drink champs
And there are a couple so called hip hop journalists in the room compared to a drunk ass rapper and a DJ...let that sink in 😊
@ and they still couldn’t get a different interview…. You let that sink in
