Did you know that he also has 5mm ports on his outer biceps, where the rivets are visible? That's what you've learned instead of getting the first comment.
Those flip out double-barreled hand cannons... they... they make me love this toy. I just toss the guns aside and have him looking like a mega death machine. gr8 vid
When promo shots were released I figured that's what I would do too, but when I got him I found myself leaving the accessories on him for the sake of EVEN MORE GUNS!
I've always had a soft spot for Triggerhappy, even though the only thing I remember him doing is being owned by Ravage and gawking at Startscream and Shockwave still being alive in one of the US comics. Glad to see his toy has turned out so well.
It's amazing how all these years later I haven't seen a figure accomplish quite as much as this little guy did back in the day. Truly a standout release!
This toy is almost perfect . I only wish it had an extra joint in the elbow so we could get some Armada Demolisher like shoulder gun and fist gun pointing action going on. At a time when the MP line is leaving me completely cold it's great that we have such a strong retail mainline happening - now bring on Slugslinger and Misfire.
I'm not sure if it was intentional or not, but the little divots for the pins on sides of his upper arms/shoulders are 5mm compatible, even though they don't really look it. It's my preferred place to put his guns for Maximum Dakka mode. I also like to connect his guns so that one of the barrels is slightly off-set and have him hold it that way, giving it a little bit more similarity to Blowpipe's old gun mode.
You can put the chair-gun inbetween the the arms, all you have to do is raise the arms up (just like you did with the fan-mode) and rotate the lower arms and put the chair-gun inbetween the arms (with the arm-mounted guns flipped out of course)
I was so happy when I got my Triggerhappy figure and agree he is definitely the crown jewel in the deluxe class (as of wave 3). As for your mystery figure, if it's any class, I'm guessing Sky Shadow. If it's specifically deluxe, I'm guessing Topspin. I have neither of these figures yet, but they look the most promising of wave 4.
I love this figure so much, even his flaws don't bother me, like the wings and guns on his arms getting in the way of each other really doesn't bother me. This guy's design is just great.
actually, he can pull a Movie 1 Megatron. You move the shoulders to the top of the head, so the tubes are horizontal. Rotate the elbows, and peg in the guns, and tab them together. The two guns should be in front of his face
...So should I tell Vangelus that Maximum DAKKA is not possible in the vacuum of space or should I tell Subtitles that they don't know how VTOL aircraft work?
I enjoy this figure so much I arranged to buy a second one tomorrow. I’ve had the Japanese one since it’s release and its fantastic but the excessive part of me wants the yellow eyes, two extra guns, and smooth unblemished chest of the Hasbro release. I just want an excuse for re-buying him and owning 2!
But he can! The shoulder have an extra hinge and rotating the forearms 90 degrees allows for sextuple (or octuple if you count the wing guns) cannon mode!
you can totally hold the combined gun in robot mode between his cannon-hands, you just need to swing the arms up at the shoulder so it looks like his he's shrugging really hard.
The blue isn't quite as vibrant as it comes off in video, but I am in love with this figure(own it myself, and kind of want a squad of them for display...)
I have both Triggerhappies and I would say the blue on the G1 is darker, closer to a navy, where the TR is richer and more vibrant. Reminds me of the blue used on some recent Thundercrackers. Also, when you asked to guess the wave 4 figure who topped this guy my thought was "I bet it's the guy." The guy. I am tired.
There have been very few Transformers figures over the years that checked so many boxes in my head for what I want in a Transformers figure that I would consider them to be nearly perfect. The only ones I can think off the top of my head would be Generations Lugnut, (who is probably one of my favorite Transformers I've ever gotten) the Generations Brainstorm and Springer from a couple years back, and maybe Animated Swoop as well, but Triggerhappy is easily a figure that I would add to that list without a second thought. His starfighter mode is easily one of the best looking alt modes I've seen on a Deluxe in years, the fact that he manages to still have a waste swivel despite his somewhat complex transformation compared to other Titans Return Deluxes is a welcome treat, and nearly everything about his robot mode; from the amazing shade of blue they used on him, the fantastic paint work on his body and Titan Master's head mode, the overall silhouette, andthat you can even flip the giant double blasters from his alt mode down to give him giant wrist mounted death cannons, (this alone would have sold me on the figure even if everything else about him wasn't already great) is just great. The only things about him which I'm not too fond of about Triggerhappy is the lack of wrist swivels (which isn't really that big a deal all things considered) and how seeing how great his starfighter all mode is really makes me retroactively wish that they held off on releasing the Titans Return version of Brainstorm long enough that they could have used a retooled version of this mold instead if the retooled version of Blurr's mold that they actually went with.
weirdwolf and mind wipe are both pretty high on my list not sure if they beat trigger happy our not. all 3 have that weird thing where the gun doesn't fit in their hands well with a titan master sitting in it, and that does up set me. especially when figures like skull cruncher and scourge do it so well by incorporating both guns.
Klinikle Gonna have to agree. Trigger Happy, Voyager Prime, Megatron, Twinferno, Hot Rod and High Brow just barely got here in texas or at least San Antonio.
Funny Story: My copy of Triggerhappys came with two copies of his left gun so it is now physically impossible for me to make the gun turret/seat for the Titan Master. This bugs me way more than it should.
supergeno128ds Hot Rod has a fairly standard transformation, but there's enough about it that's slightly different from most car-formers to justify the purchase if you like the character. Twinferno is a nightmare, though. I'd avoid him if possible
supergeno128ds He's a really good figure. The only flaws i could find is that he lacks paint apps on the arms and on the Titanmaster, and that the shoulders are so tall that you can't see his spoiler. Other than that he's a fantastic figure and a massive improvement over the Classics figure.
Thanks for the info! Yeah I saw Twinferno on the shelf as well. I'm just not a fan of the dinosaur ones. He LOOKED like a difficult one! I saw Chromedome as well... I thought he looked pretty cool.
If I have said it once, I will say it again, Triggerhappy is everything right with a transformers toy. As for the wave four guess, I bet his name also starts with a T lol.
Jumping on the Topspin bandwagon. Already saw the reviews of wave 4, and with 3 new molds and the other two just recolors, Topspin is the only one that stands out for me. (If it's actually Perceptor, I'm unsubscribing from your channel.)
Did you know that he also has 5mm ports on his outer biceps, where the rivets are visible? That's what you've learned instead of getting the first comment.
Vangelus yes I tried to be first but this works too
Those flip out double-barreled hand cannons... they... they make me love this toy. I just toss the guns aside and have him looking like a mega death machine.
gr8 vid
But if you did that, you wouldn't be able to stick the guns onto his cannons.

Don't worry Vangelus, he doesn't look down because he's TriggerHAPPY, not TriggerDEPRESSED!

Overboard's head fits very well in this one

If I ever find one of these, he and Brainstorm can be artillery-fan-mode buddies!
Am I the only one that looks forward to him saying, "the full Van Damme"?
Jason Scarce Nope. :D
Jason Scarce I love it when he says that
actually, he can pull a Movie 1 Megatron. You move the shoulders to the top of the head, so the tubes are horizontal. Rotate the elbows, and peg in the guns, and tab them together. The two guns should be in front of his face

Man, I gotta get me this guy!! Him and Topspin are both AWESOME looking!!
But he can! The shoulder have an extra hinge and rotating the forearms 90 degrees allows for sextuple (or octuple if you count the wing guns) cannon mode!
Good to see someone commented on that function!
you can totally hold the combined gun in robot mode between his cannon-hands, you just need to swing the arms up at the shoulder so it looks like his he's shrugging really hard.
FYI, expect a ton of Brainstorm customs from Triggerhappy, because it's CW First Aid and Trailbreaker all over again.
Somebody actually modded that Trigger Happy mold into Brainstorm and it looked amazing in Brainstorm colors.
Can't wait for that Topspin review
I would like to know the display stand`s type or model for your figures
The blue isn't quite as vibrant as it comes off in video, but I am in love with this figure(own it myself, and kind of want a squad of them for display...)

*Cough*GERWALK MODE*Cough*

Love this guy. Man, I can't wait to get Sluggslinger and Misfire.
You CAN peg the guns together but you'll have to dislocate the big guns slightly
I guess we're skipping ahead now? Also, hope Computron is coming soon for funsies
weirdwolf and mind wipe are both pretty high on my list not sure if they beat trigger happy our not. all 3 have that weird thing where the gun doesn't fit in their hands well with a titan master sitting in it, and that does up set me. especially when figures like skull cruncher and scourge do it so well by incorporating both guns.
Why are your reviews now so far behind the release date of figures?
+Klinikle Triggerhappy is still fairly new in my area
Klinikle Gonna have to agree. Trigger Happy, Voyager Prime, Megatron, Twinferno, Hot Rod and High Brow just barely got here in texas or at least San Antonio.
Is this mold can be anything than Triggerhappy? Because i like the similarity to star fighter, but i don't like the color scheme.
It's being re-used for Misfire and Slugslinger in Waves 5 and 6; as well as Metalhawk in one of the Boxsets.
Aren't misfire use blurr mold? I was hoping misfire use this mold. Although I like slugslinger color scheme. Not a fan of metalhawk color.
Nah, Blurr's re-uses are Brainstorm and Nautica.
Brainstorm would have been amazing with triggerhappy's mold...
Gotta be honest, I do think Blurr works better for him. That retool is just spot on.
Funny Story: My copy of Triggerhappys came with two copies of his left gun so it is now physically impossible for me to make the gun turret/seat for the Titan Master. This bugs me way more than it should.
Contact Hasbro and they'll probably send you a titan master or maybe even a whole new deluxe figure
Is this blue toy week?
It wasn't until I was in the middle of editing this video that I realized I have been covering all the blue toys at once, haha
Have any more blue toys ready? XD kup?
Vangelus If this is blue toy week, I guess next is Topspin. :D
The camera makes this lad look violet to me hmm..
The proper Misfire tailfins!
Did you skip the entire second wave or something?
Can't wait for the Titans Return line to end, i'm starting to feel headmaster fatigue, in need more robots with normal heads in my life
Would the next one happen to be Topspin?
Are you going to do Hod Rod? I saw one at my local Target and I'm on the fence on it.
supergeno128ds Hot Rod has a fairly standard transformation, but there's enough about it that's slightly different from most car-formers to justify the purchase if you like the character. Twinferno is a nightmare, though. I'd avoid him if possible

Thanks for the info! I noticed the lack of paint on the arms... but I do like the proportions and the vehicle mode on the box looks pretty nice.
supergeno128ds Vehicle mode's great. It looks fantastic and holds together well too.
Thanks for the info! Yeah I saw Twinferno on the shelf as well. I'm just not a fan of the dinosaur ones. He LOOKED like a difficult one!
I saw Chromedome as well... I thought he looked pretty cool.
1:44 THE PUN (did u do that on purpose or accidentally do it? The pun works cause he's a Target Master)
If I have said it once, I will say it again, Triggerhappy is everything right with a transformers toy. As for the wave four guess, I bet his name also starts with a T lol.
I think with a little remolding and a repaint, he'd be a good X-Wing.
Hyped for Topspin!
you can also get him into a piloted Mecha mode if ya want
and who else just wants IDW to put him in the comics already? I want the Bros back together frag it!
Good thing I follow you on Twitter and already know who you got
Are you going to review Titans Return Megatron? And if so, can you also tell me where to find one in the GTA? :-)
I still haven't seen one in the GTA! :( I missed the window on that wave, it seems
Hmm. Seeing as we both missed it, I suspect it may not have arrived at all.
Vangelus you play GTA??
I love this toy and I'm glad I bought it
Officially sold on getting this as my first TR toy.
Thomas La Motta good fukn choice my dude it was my first too
Trigger happy always reminded me of a cobra trooper
Love this figure!!
What stand are you using?
It's not enough Dakka, but it's close.
awesome figure
good god that is gorgeous and i want one but nobody has it
I normally prefer the toy faces, but in this case, I actually don't feel the need to fix him. :)
Behalf of everyone, I believe you are going to review TR Topspin.
what's with the camera?
I wanna cry cause I lost his head and honestly can't find another one or a figure for less then £30
Preceptor or Kup
Great video bro.
he can do a hand-blaster
I like Trigerhappy has a figure.
Did You say DAKKA?!!! I think we should start a WAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!! And Paint That Jet Red Because RED ONES GO FASTER!!!!!
I want one!!
I got triggerhappy because of this video
needs more dakka
this toy is trigger but I'm happy
Metalhawk!
this looks like a prototype x-wing
If only the same attention was paid to poor chromedome.
I did come from the future and look up spoilers but I'm telling everyone anyway it's kup (am I right)
I had to give Triggerhappy a few paint strokes.
imgur.com/a/OGiLg
Man, really making up for lost time with the blue fellows lately, huh?
And Elementary Vangelus? can you show us a pic????
Never mind I was JOKING!
I love this figure, but I wish it wasn't completely GEEWUN. ANY artistic liberties would have been nice. Oh well...
twinferno
Hmhehehehe, Blowpipe.
I'm gonna guess that the Wave 4 figure in question is Sky Shadow
Jumping on the Topspin bandwagon. Already saw the reviews of wave 4, and with 3 new molds and the other two just recolors, Topspin is the only one that stands out for me. (If it's actually Perceptor, I'm unsubscribing from your channel.)
Is it six shot.
I lost one of misfires guns. :(
watched =D
Cannot unsee Trigerhappy's face just being Deadpool with a blue helmet on.
not even close
shredBucketheadshred well trigger happy is crazy, love to keep shooting people madly and have quite some personality in the season 4 for g1
reviewing the best figure eh?
Triggerhappy....sounds like an OC character...
first
also cool
