HEALER: If you like having better view of the battlefield, if you enjoy an easier single-player questing experience, if you dislike long dungeon queues. 1-Trgt/Melee DPS: If you like rogue-type gameplay, if you like min-maxing the highest DPS mathematically possible, if you enjoy PVP Dueling or ganking, high mobility. AOE/Ranged DPS: If you want to be a mage or wizard, if you want to win regional dynamic events for killing the most ads, if you want to be a ranged DPS and easier kite enemies. MISC. A-TIER: Unkillable PVP/PVE Tank/Healer Hybrid (Paladin): Shield/Wand Powerful AOE DPS/Healer Hybrid (Wizard): Staff/Wand PVP Pure Range(Easy): Bow/Xbow PVE Pure Melee(Hard): Daggers/GS

@azazel_6667 The GS abilities are great, but at the highest levels the bow/staff players will always reign supreme when it comes to mob farming. There's very few things you can't do as a GS Shield player though.
I'm so torn myself xD. I played skullknight, or whatever the tanky occult CC tank was in archeage and man it was a good time. I'm thinking I'm going to go GS and SnS this time with my second set to focus on dagger and wand so I can have all those combos available as needed.

I feel like sword/wand will be very good for a composition/organized PvP group. The ability to survive, heal, group heal and then burst on target and on command is what a good organized group looks for (ball group for those that played ESO). Sword/wand will be integral to these groups I think because of the AoE heal and AoE defensive buff too. If anyone has an AoE sleep/stun that will be the other sought after class.

I'm wondering about one thing: I can't decide between choosing offensive-playstyle with bow/dagger or wand/bow for support. How feasible is it to level weapons/skills for both? Bow will get leveled good in any case, so I'd only need to swap one weapon. I'm more a casual guy and maybe leaning more towards offensive.
As a disclaimer I haven't actually played yet: This is probably a loaded question, but how difficult is it to switch roles/classes? I really find Bow/Staff appealing but as a support main in Lost Ark, I'm also drawn to Wand/Bow.

Would it be better for me to play Bow/Staff at the start to get into a good guild and grind progression with the option of switching later or does that not matter as much in TnL?
For a console player im am undecided between sword/gs and crossbow/dagger. Would cb/dagger be good on controller or cant you keep the high apm up for a long time?
