Thank you, thank you, thank you. Thank you. Thanks Christiaan, this is great. And super dry rhythm work, your vids on the technique are super. Cheers! jz
Huge thanks for the I'll See You In My Dreams lesson and backing track! Will you be doing a brief lesson on Django's solo? I would love to see how you play it and hear your thoughts on it! I first heard it by Django in the Woody Allen film Stardust Memories and was completely entranced and enchanted, and that was years before I started playing guitar! I'm a singer songwriter and have only really touched the edges of the Django style but I'm determined to go deeper now. His playing never ceases to move, thrill and amaze me. Thanks again for helping unravel some of it's mysteries!!
Christiaan: Thank you so much for your videos, I am now a Patreon member. Some advice from a student: These backing tracks are very fast for practicing. If you go half-speed on TH-cam the audio falls apart. Next time you should make the backing tracks a bit slower than original tempo (if they are fast songs) because I'm sure most of us who are learning cannot play at original tempo. Cheers, Landon

better idea, get "amazing slow downer" software, clip grab this to audio and you'll have a much nicer experience in slowing down |:)
Notation "-7" or "-6" means minor?
Yes!
@@ChristiaanvanHemert ok thanks (it's personal but I prefer "m")
Yeah that works too I'm just so used to "-" that I find "m" too look ugly!
