This is the most insane thing ever. Imagine being on that plane and you ask, “what happened” and the reply is, “oh the pilot has been sucked out the front window of the plane and is hanging on with his feet that have been caught in the controls”…. Absolutely nuts.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution did an AMAZING feature story on this accident. It appeared a few years after it occurred. The psychological and physical torments they endured!!
WOWWWW!!! how Amazing that Pilot Tim survived that! Damn!! How terrifying!! 🙏 And what a great job of the co-pilot to try to land the plane safely during that horrible experience, & help from the other guys holding onto Tim instead of just letting him go!. WOW! What a crazy story!
I love the woman looking out the window the closing it and looking straight forward. Also, the big guy chugging his drink instead of pouring it in the pocket. I'm sad for the real people but the writer of this dramatization definitely has a sense of humor ❤
The fact that maintenance practices and standards are often the cause, is despicable. The fact that airlines do not want to use less flammable fuel due to the cost demonstrates corporate greed and immoral practice, no passengers are valued, only profit. I’m amazed that the FAA tolerates this BS. When will the airlines ever value passenger lives over big profit? Answer: never.
The really worked that engineer over psychologically! LMAO! They got to the bottom of the matter while being nice and kind to him. Cop behavior 101. It's necessary sometimes to get to the truth.
That's an OMG 😳 how did this guy not get sucked out of the plane he had an angel 😇 watching over him that day I've flown on planes a half dozen times but avoid them . But glad this pilot made it and was able to tell the tale😊
0:49 could it really bring down the plane though? ALL of your stories say that planes are designed to fly on one engine and pilots regularly train on the simulators for that situation.
just because they CAN fly with one engine (or less than the regular amount) doesn't mean it will. if a twin engine aircraft has an engine blow out in clear skies and minutes from the airport, everyone's probably fine. but add on a ton of other factors (weather, pilots, mechanical status of the airplane, etc.) and that completely changes the story.
When a bolt is too small a skilled person can tell the bolt doesn’t feel right it’s loose when threading in. I would bet the correct bolt was a 7mm x1 as they said 7 and he used a 1/4 x 24 bolt which is .030 smaller in diameter. He likely was able to tighten them up seeing how only a screwdriver is used to tighten so not a lot of torque but under pressure they could not hold the load. You can’t just blame him though there should be something like a parts list for a given job then a receipt from the parts department showing the correct parts so someone can sign off on the work.
1:54:48 what was that for? why do they always show this kind of stuff with guns? he did nothing. He racked the slide for no reason😆 I guess just to show us he could
I'm just floored with this report. First of all they are screws not bolts, and why wouldn't they have a computer program to identify the proper hardware? I was out of Commercial Aviation in the 90's and there was NO DOUBT if you have the correct part to go with the aircraft. Is this the Piers Morgan version of British Parts Department? The mechanic should have felt that the screws were not torqueing correctly and felt that the heads would rock even after final torque. Had it happen to me on fuel panels on a 737, they were trying to burn me the next day but I notified them when they pulled me off the project and the management never heard me until they fueled the bird the next morning. Recognize that 90% of this stuff happens because of mid level management and they do their best to sluff it off on the mechanics. Would love to see some of those bastards do jail time.
Yeah! They should have just all sat there in a circle and took turns retelling their story. Screw trying to reenact one of the most amazing stories in aviation history. You scum of the earth no good freeloader.
Up here in this gigantic freezer called Canada where I have the misfortune to live, we have even better airlines than this! The first class passengers on Canadian planes are treated like royalty, given caviar and champagne! Even sex workers are available to the men in private cabins. Second class passengers are only given stale bread and old turnips for food, and Chinese cooking wine to drink! Third class passengers get nothing at all to eat, and have to pay extra for bottled water if they are thirsty. Just before landing, when the airplane is about 100 feet above the ground, the all the third class passengers are booted out the cargo hold! But don't worry, most of them usually survive the fall because Canada is always covered with about 100 feet of snow which cushions their landing!😊😅😢
If they listen closely to the voice recorder...... I'll bet very heavily...... They can hear from the copilot as well as the man with the presence of mind to catch his legs on the nearest thing inside as he was making his Exodus........... "Are you kidding me?".......... And even louder from outside of the plane.... "Are you kidding me! I never thought about what that would do".....
You would be surprised to see that Christianity wasn’t much better Historically, and the “muslims” you’re talking about basically pervert islam to fit their narrative. The teachings of Mohammed actually teach about Peace. I hate that people decide to blame the entire religion for that.. Before people claim that im Muslim, I am not, im Christian. I just actually have respect for other religions, I might not believe what they do, but at least im not a bigot
We can actually call this a joke.... But possibly an analogy of life.... Supposing after they leveled off.. and were able to navigate to the airport... Able to begin bringing the captain in somehow possible.... But as they did so the plane begin to tilt and go into potential stalling excessive wing tilt ... They released him back out... Plane stabilizes...😢 What actually occurred here.........?
Awesome he survived 😊

.. and he lived!!! Have we heard what he says? Anyone got a linky?

The only thing the copilot didn't do was hold on the captain. Amazing job
Why aren't the screws embossed with codes for better identification?

Amazing how much the crew just wouldn't let go of Tim. This would make a great movie I think. Talk about harrowing.
You can feel that they don't fit properly if the gauge is wrong...
*Drinks my Starbucks pecan coffee at 6:15pm* well damn that was more entertaining than it needed to be.

Maybe they should require the flight crew to keep shoulder harnesses and lap belts on while seated
“Amy I Love You.”
I remember that from a “Pilots Last Words.” video.
นักบิน ผู้ช่วย เก่งมากๆ สติดีมากๆ😊😊😊
We flew on a BAC 1 11 from Stanstead to Alicante then to La Manga many years ago it was the First time that our mother down in a Airplane
???
Such a shame about the captain he did a good job

I saw this on another channel. Its amazing.
How many fucking ads do you have to put on. Over 1000s?
You have 3 choices: cry harder, don't watch or press the skip button

yeah but the captain could’ve been sucked into the engine which could’ve messed up the hydraulic system

Thumbs down for 4 ads in 10 minutes
Press the skip button or don't watch but most importantly cry harder

Too much hectic, overly shuddering visual footage.

Wish I could afford 1st class 😂
Tim should have worn seabelts... just saying..
I’m pretty sure the captain broke the rules by taking off his shoulder harness
Actually most pilots take off the shoulder harness once airbourne past a certain altitude. The lap belt is not as stable and one can slip out of it.
get your ya yas out

Karens and narcissistic people use that phrases not masculine people.
I hate the term Karen because it makes people who use it a participant of making little innocent girls doubt their identity
🤙🏿
good thing all the women had head scarves!
Lmao
Muslim "The religion of peace"
"peace" translates to "time to re-arm" in their language.
@@RS-ls7mm Muslim beliefs are that any religion other than Muslim is evil.
It is if you are not a nut terroist
