This went so well! I managed to convert my grade five to a nine (for sure!) using just this video and working through past and predicted papers. If you’re wondering what questions they used: active transport (sub-cellular structures), osmosis (potato practical), food tests for carbohydrate (glucose and starch), one on cystic fibrosis and how the enzymes are blocked from reaching small intestine from pancreas) and a six-marker on magnification. (Not three, but) four* six-markers on this one!

@@11aeon. yes ikr, there's typically only 2-3 six-markers within a paper but i feel like we were pretty lucky in the sense the 6 markers were relatively easy this year.

quick question i know this sounds stupid but if a question states give two factors or something is it ok if i give 3 just to make sure or will i lose marks
if one of them is wrong them it will cancel out the two correct ones, dumping too much information down for a question wastes your time and give the examiner the impression you don't know what you're talking about

If you’re wondering whether watching the video will benefit you, it really will. I’ve watched it most of the way through now (occasionally stopping and quizzing myself) and it’s really effective. I’ve also referred to the predicted and other past papers and it relates pretty well.
BBC bitesize website is good as it goes over some parts in more detail. This video covers most details though it's probably a good idea to research a bit more about topics like the digestive system.
