Just a few things… while I did use the Strider in this video, I don't think I would personally run it to counter Ochokochi. I used the Strider more to test how effective my tactic was and whether it could be done with a much weaker robot. I tried to include footage using my Baby Account as well but out of about 20 games I played I only ran into one Ochokochi - I managed to get his MK2 Ochokochi down to half health with an MK1 level 6 Ravana which is quite impressive. I was also taking on fire from his teammate which is also why I went down fast. Still though… for an MK1 level 6 robot to get an MK2 Ochokochi down to half health is quite impressive.
My ravana Mk2level 4 with havoc mk2lvl 4 gets down easily even in transcendent mode. Ravana is not countering the Ocho, I have nuclear amp, inmune amp and phase shift, but whatever I do, ravana last just few seconds against ocho with minimum damage to the ocho. Not sure if I missed something here.
Even though I don't get the kill, at least I'm taking durability away from the Ochi Cochi. The Ravanas remarkable, especially with sonic weapon's. I'm using fainters on my other Ravana to take down the the menace Ochi, from a distance. Thanks for the tips Adrian ✌🏼
Not sure if I would use Fainters. I think if you're going for range then Hazard might be a very good option. The other benefit of Ravana is that it's really annoying to Newtons. When Newtons raise you up, wait for them to fire and then use Transcendence. If you're annoying enough they'll just target someone else. What you say about getting the kill though - this is very true. It's better to do some damage than no damage. I tried to get footage on my Baby Account and honestly only ran into one Ochokochi over the 20 games I played. In that game I was able to get an Ochokochi down to half health. I would have done even more damage but other reds were shooting me as well. I then played for another 1 hour or so on my Baby Account today during my Members Only stream and I don't think I recall seeing any Ochokochis there either. That account is in Expert League. I think Master League and up is where you're more likely to see Ochokochis.
I found the ophin scorchers with the peregrin rain pilot very effective against the ochi also maybe you can come up with a few different low end builds using that pilot as well.
The only thing with Scorchers is that it doesn't have sustained damage. The damage it does when fully loaded is good but you need some sustained damage. I guess with Ophion it isn't too bad since you have the ability and can fly away which helps.
Finally someone said it. I stopped playing WR but from the time I saw the robot I understood this strategy. You can imagine my frustration when I saw all streamers unloading their salvo on the opponent's ability. I was jumping up and down shouting "stop doing that"! 😇😁
Just remember even though they might still kill you, at least you'll be doing far more damage to them now knowing this information than you did before.
Thanks buddy, i had suffered many times when they come in diamond league, its insane, 2 ochocochi swapped my team including titans in 4 minutes, with this tips we can fight them better 👍 btw i just buy your pilot in the game yesterday and its awesome! 😅
Didn't know the ocho has only 400k on it's own I can't belive the new drone and some other boosts give it extra 300k hp The ravana has around 400k hp like the ocho so I guess ocho isn't that op like I thought on first sight but it's ability has a super small cooldown so you kinda have to stalk it and time your attack pecicely in the 8 sec it doesn't have it's ability
It's powerful don't get me wrong but when it's ability drops it's very vulnerable. I've had harder times taking down Fenrirs to be honest lol. Also I know players are going to use the excuse about max level equipment. In this video there was one guy who lost 3 Ochokochis to my one Lynx. He actually had another 4th one and all of them were fully maxed out. I tried to get footage on my Baby Account but unfortunately after about 20 games I only ran into one of these robots and this is in Expert League. The one guy I ran into I got him down to half health with my Ravana and I believe he was around MK2. Keep in mind too though I was being shot at by his teammates as well so to get him down to half health I'm pretty sure he wasn't happy.
@@abdouaboud7490I rounded up to 400k beacause I thought I saw 386k but if you watch the video that you are commenting on you will see that a mk3 ivory ravana has 336 500 hp I belive with the right pilot skills and drone this can go up to 500k or more
Hello Adrian, my friend. Thank you so much! That hoochie coochie only has a 5sec. Cool down. That is extremely fast. Cool down time. I noticed with the Typhoon using the Sonic I don't know how he got 30% of a health return while you are on center I believe. Dreadnought. Deeply appreciate the recon. That is some serious intel 👊😎. I've seen one on the carrier and I seen it. Throw tightens off the top of the ship. Just going past them and he would run up and down the center of the ship cleaning everybody off of it. I was fortunate in the phantom I marked and just before I hit water I was back on deck but not far from death anyway. Ty Adrian very much. Sometimes it's hard to see when they're in their effect from behind. Quite easy. I love the strider due to the fact that it can back away from that bot. Keep them coming. Adrian, take care of my friend 🕊️
I wouldn't actually use Strider - this was more a test to see if I could pull off this tactic with a much weaker robot. If I can be somewhat successful then the tactic itself works. The 5 second cool down time is definitely short and I think that will be changed in the future. However at least we know we can do a lot of damage to it when we time things right.
Great advice Adrian, the issue I have is that faint blue ring doesn't show in most cases in my game plays and makes it Very Difficult to deal with, we had 4 team mates hitting 1 Ouuchi-Kuuchi Devil bot, I'm (personally) tired of dealing with it and the Newton "Choke" ability at 800 meters, most of my team mates leave the game because of those 2 bots and I don't blame them (at all). Thanks just the same. :)
If you don't see the effect around your Ochokochi, start the timer when you see it charge. If that doesn't help then watch the ground as you'll also see a magnetic pulse effect. There's also another way which I forgot to mention and that's the health bar - it now shows corrosion. If you see the corrosion on the health bar (it turns slightly yellow) you know the Ochokochi has it's ability active. Hope this helps.
Best video for WR so far. I switched my typhon igniter for sonics and lynx from stake to devastator It will take practice on aiming all your shots with the lag Also reds kill you sometimes while you target the ochokoochie
Flamethrowers actually work good against Ochokochi too! I have a freedom Ignitor/Ember Cryptic Fenrir in my hanger and it does just as good as my Fatal Havoc Warrior Typhon at taking down Ochokochis!

First time I played in over a month and I already figured out a couple of ways to take these bots out handily. Havoc Typhon is one way and Flamethrower Fenrir is the other. Both of them worked great for me!
Great video, Adrian! Ravana and Typhon clips were great. Ravana always working like the meta-counter as always, and the damage that this Typhon does is insane, my Fenrir wouldn't want to mess with it. I think I will start upgrading my havocs now

Another tip that I heard is that you don't want to back away as the och can catch up to you if running... the best thing to do is run towards it so it goes straight past you or dodge to the side so it runs straight past depending on the map etc
Man this was probably one of your best videos yet. I didn't know the Ochos were similar to the fenrir regarding their ability. My Ravan build currently has mace. Will it do similar damage or is the havoc grey damage better.
Skill always mattered and the same with strategy - however not many players use it and it's more likely only seen in top clan battles (because this is where everything counts).
@@duuda-he9qj bro you do realise this game doesnt even require aiming right, it has a target lock on 🤣, you could have told me how theres strategy in games like beacon rush, like the fact that u said theres skill in shooting weapons that lock on for you shows that players in this game have never played proper games which require knowing how to play.
Great points, Adrian! From the Ochokochi’s defender viewpoint, WR should make it easier to spot when the « beast » is or isn’t using it’s charging ability!
Great vid Adrian thx for the tips it's a bit harder tho when they have constant stealth and resistance stacks makes it harder to deal damage to them even when u get to attack btw what best modules to use for ravana
AHHH ...ADRIAN IF I did have disposable income like a Billionaire... Buddy you'd be on my payroll For years you've been giving us ( community ) so much in terms of advice & Demonstrating it . If all in the community were solo players ( like myself) & playinthe limited number of hours i do than It would literally take Hundreds of hours just to take the time to figure out what works & what doesn't ,plus Before & after New Updates & all of the Bots weaponry & other equipment that's either buffed or nerfed .. Your vids have saved me quite a bit of time Streamlining my Best Weapons & Bots & all the Equipment necessary Just to get ahead in This game .. I've made so many positive strides moving up steadily in the leagues .. I used to think you HAD TO HAVE the best of everything to get ahead an moving forward in this game. Jeez like so many I was wrong & although I don't have the Best of weapons or Robots By your tutelage I've managed to take down Bots that are more Heavily equipped than mine & although most of the time I don't win every encounter , I have done well enough to do a Bot for Bot exchange. Where an enemy had Meta equipment & Bot as well I've traded one of mine (lesser equiped ) for the elimination of thiers. In the last 5 months I've come to find after a game , i'm either in the top 3 winning spots or even when I've lost a game I'm holding the #1 top spot.. Yep losing ain't much to brag about but it's far better to hold the 1st position than anything after as it affects your total scoring & if your in a clan it makes your whole clan drop down .. & even though those rewards you get aren't the best , it does help as far as a resources generator . This Vid was an eye opener for me as these Ocho-Kochi'z Have been a plague ripping my Hangars up .. to be honest I got so frustrated I just had to stop playing for a coupla days. Well now armed with this info you've given me , I've removed my Venoms & toxins as well as the Vipers I've been using on my Bohemoth to counter the Skyros ... Just to removing those weapons has helped me to avoid Helping those infernal Ocho-Kochi'z from gaining anymore power off any of my builds. Thanks Adrian 👍 Much appreciated 😊
Adrian, this is gold! I was looking for this and tried various tactics but nothing worked but this seems promising! By any means, could you do this with mace hammer?
The counter I find works well against me is lock down early before my immune amplifiers have kicked in and before I get my resistance built up and the entire opposing team shoots me at once.
Useful tip. 👌👍 Too bad I don't got any sonics upgraded. Found it has a long reload and will not be suitable for all/most meta. I'll just have to use my current weapons along with shooting only on ability cool down
lol I always use sonic especially if there are tanks out there. Even if you didn't have sonics using something like Mace would work too. It's about timing and hitting them when they're weak just like we did with Ares, Leech, Fafnir etc.
If you're a Rook player I would be careful of the Ochokochi with Ultimate flames. That thing is really nasty because I've taken down a lot of Rooks with it.
I have found that a demeter with phase shift works. Also, my scorpion with whiteout, paralysis, and sonic seems to do well if you remember to port back before the emp runs out.
like i think we can all agree that we know that this is the best known strategy! There is just one problem. you just dont survive untill his ability is over. And they are just using Phase Shift or Unstable Conduit so you are basicly not dealing damadge. The Ravana seems to be the only Built that can survive his stampede with the trancendense but then he just survives for what ever reason ( im using Mk2 Fatal Havocs with nuke amp etc) and the Ochokochi doesnt die and then it has its ability back and you are dead because you just have 1 or 2 charges left. Thats the problem i am having whlie using this strategy.
Not sure if I would really call this the "best known strategy" because in all honesty most didn't know this strategy - I was one of them at first but this all comes with learning a new robot. As for killing the Ochokochi while that might be true in many cases, the point of this video is about exposing it's weakness. Just remember doing SOME damage is better than doing no damage. Because you're able to do some damage as a team you can kill them faster. Just to illustrate my point above… yesterday I ran into a Champion player who had 5 maxed Ochokochis along with a maxed out Rook. He kept charging our home beacons on Castle but what was funny was that no one really shot him when he used his ability. The minute his ability ended, everyone just unleashed everything at him. He ended up losing all 5 of his Ochokochis this way. My team had a total of maybe two Ochokochis if that (I only had one in my hangar at the time). What happened in that game? My team won - we meched them out completely and ended up spawn raiding them. We were running things like Seraphs, Menders, Demeters, some Ravanas. Our team didn't even have meta stuff but we knew the strategy and that player paid dearly for it.
Maybe some of you have not noticed but the reaper reload nerf is only for the Regular reaper. The Retro Reaper still only has 7 sec reload. This this is made on purpose to make the special Edition better😂😂
Although I haven't tested the Scorpion, I think it might be one of the stronger ones because you can keep your distance, blink in when the Ochokochi's ability is over and blink back to safety. Even if he does catch you off guard you can always just blink back.
The Special Edition won't actually make much difference in normal games when you're solo. Those bots make more of a difference in squad play especially in top Champion League squads where everyone is maxed out.
Everyones Ochokachi that I've encountered thus far has all used it as a "Balls Deep Brawler", they shy away from cover and most of the time their team members who see their team player drop in one, they will exploit this fact and try to blitzkrieg bum rush their enemy team, usually with a Demeter on their team as well, and because of this they see relative success at forcing their enemies to bot out. While this strategy is indeed a challenge and very annoying to deal with especially if you have team members who don't know how to deal with Ochokachi (or perhaps they do know by now and just don't care and just fire on it anyways), this sort of play style is not going to last it's one of the worst glass cannons I've seen since Ares Train days, if an Ochokachi Train ever becomes a thing then this method of play for these Ochokachi players are just playing a losing game. The reason being is the fact that they completely neglect cover, playing a more conservative style of play will generally see better success than what most of these Ochokachi players are seeing right now. A smarter more intelligent Ochokachi player will be playing a more conservative game and let the brawlers come to them instead while they take advantage of cover and chip down their would-be brawlers -- and once players perfect a conservative style of playing with the Ochokachi I can see it being more dominant than the best brawlers right now in the future.
4:17 u could’ve executed him. that’s another tip. the less hp u have to deal means higher chance of actually killing it. if u have a lynx finish it off in ur team u should thank them for the execution
Enlightened players will know that the ravana can counter everything in the game With 3 charges you can stall, bypass all negative effects, dodge burst fire, out maneuver enemies, surprise attack the true king ravana
I think both can work and it will depend on what the current meta is. If we're seeing a lot of stealth then Levi makes more sense. I think in the long run Sati might work out to be better since it extends the duration of the ability. Hope this helps.
Hey Adrian do you think a scorpion is a good counter? Since it is almost an assassin you can time your ability and deal massive damage. My setup on scorp is 2x cryo and 1x scatter since we can amplify dmg and deal unrepairable dmg. Is my setup any good and does scorp do a good job against it ?
Although I haven't tried the Scorpion myself, I actually think it might be pretty effective especially if you have the Whiteout drone. I would still recommend sonic weapons over Cryo rockets though simply because of that grey damage. Hope this helps!
Adrian I been watching your channel for a long time and I can honestly say you are the most humbled player even when the game is at its worst you find the positive great content bro

It's not that hard to see because you can see those magnetic pulses. Just wait until it's no longer ger pulsing and that's when you fire.
Yup. Should make it clearer
Great vid Adrian thx for the tips it's a bit harder tho when they have constant stealth and resistance stacks makes it harder to deal damage to them even when u get to attack btw what best modules to use for ravana
I've been running the Ravana build - hands down, best counter. Devastator Orochi pretty good as well. Brilliant video!
Nice video Adrian, really helpful information 👍
AHHH ...ADRIAN
IF I did have disposable income like a Billionaire... Buddy you'd be on my payroll
For years you've been giving us ( community ) so much in terms of advice & Demonstrating it .
If all in the community were solo players ( like myself) & playinthe limited number of hours i do than
It would literally take Hundreds of hours just to take the time to figure out what works & what doesn't ,plus
Before & after New Updates & all of the Bots weaponry & other equipment that's either buffed or nerfed ..
Your vids have saved me quite a bit of time
Streamlining my Best
Weapons & Bots & all the
Equipment necessary
Just to get ahead in
This game ..
I've made so many positive strides moving up steadily in the leagues ..
I used to think you HAD TO HAVE the best of everything to get ahead an moving forward in this game.
Jeez like so many I was wrong & although I don't have the Best of weapons or Robots
By your tutelage I've managed to take down Bots that are more Heavily equipped than mine & although most of the time I don't win every encounter , I have done well enough to do a Bot for Bot exchange.
This Vid was an eye opener for me as these Ocho-Kochi'z
Have been a plague ripping my Hangars up .. to be honest I got so frustrated I just had to stop playing for a coupla days.
Thanks Adrian 👍
Much appreciated 😊
is this a rap? If so thats a pretty creative way to say thanks.
Adrian, this is gold! I was looking for this and tried various tactics but nothing worked but this seems promising! By any means, could you do this with mace hammer?
You can use Mace and Hammer although it's not grey damage. I prefer grey damage when it comes to dealing with tanks (which is what Ochokochi is).
The counter I find works well against me is lock down early before my immune amplifiers have kicked in and before I get my resistance built up and the entire opposing team shoots me at once.
You can also see ochokochi use his ability by his HP bar (yellow tiny thing)
It’s crazy how the ravana can be more meta than the newer robots
Also, Nightengale, explosive rockets w/shotgun, paralysis drone.
Useful tip. 👌👍
Too bad I don't got any sonics upgraded.
Thank you Adrin this is great knowledge
Ravana has always been meta, god I love that bot.
I use my luchador to take out a few of these.
2 to 3 usually swarm my regular bots so there is an ochi train and my bots don’t last long.
If you're a Rook player I would be careful of the Ochokochi with Ultimate flames. That thing is really nasty because I've taken down a lot of Rooks with it.
Nice! Thanks for the advice.
I have found that a demeter with phase shift works. Also, my scorpion with whiteout, paralysis, and sonic seems to do well if you remember to port back before the emp runs out.
I saw this video and your tips are helping me kill more ochacocky's thanks Adrian game is less stressfull now.
Glad I was able to help!
like i think we can all agree that we know that this is the best known strategy!
I noticed this too, but it has been fixed.
@@dawjack480 yeah was fixed
Ravana timeless robot
The ability is very good it will never be bad it will just be harder to use over time
Great video 👍 very satisfying when i see these things go down like that
THIS is REALLY helpful. THANK you !!
Wasn't there a thing where the defensive ability lasts beyond the ability
Very useful information. Thank you!
Thanks!
I use a scorpion sonic build to deal with it,not the best but it can do the job.Gotta be careful he doesn’t catch u though.
Although I haven't tested the Scorpion, I think it might be one of the stronger ones because you can keep your distance, blink in when the Ochokochi's ability is over and blink back to safety. Even if he does catch you off guard you can always just blink back.
The intro 🤣
Great Video 👍
very important .. thank you adrian
Damn, Manni gaming had no clue about this, someone tell him so we can stop him from crying.
Can't wait for the *special edition ochokochi!* 😂 that +10% extra HP is more than ever needed.
The Special Edition won't actually make much difference in normal games when you're solo. Those bots make more of a difference in squad play especially in top Champion League squads where everyone is maxed out.
That was a great tactic! Thank you for showing us, sir!
The Ravana has never been a bad robot. Change my mind
Thank you for the video
They should make its magnetic field more disinctive visually otherwise my teammates will shoot regardless
Best Ochokochi is DEAD Ochokochi
you actually figured out how to destroy these pest
8 sec cooldown, is crazyyyy
The ability needs to be more obvious. I usually can’t tell when the ability is active. I’m sure Pixonic did that on purpose.
Imagine using a ochokochi and still dying to a strider 💀
4:17 u could’ve executed him. that’s another tip. the less hp u have to deal means higher chance of actually killing it. if u have a lynx finish it off in ur team u should thank them for the execution
Ya, that's nice but try that when 4 of them Och's come at you. This doesn't work.
Thanks for the tips
Enlightened players will know that the ravana can counter everything in the game
With 3 charges you can stall, bypass all negative effects, dodge burst fire, out maneuver enemies, surprise attack
the true king ravana
Technically speaking you could have 4 charges if you use Clever Survivor.
Crazy
It's ridiculously over powered 😞Ochikochi
Adrian which one is the best Pilot for Lynx (Levi/ Sati'Cat')
I think both can work and it will depend on what the current meta is. If we're seeing a lot of stealth then Levi makes more sense. I think in the long run Sati might work out to be better since it extends the duration of the ability. Hope this helps.
Sonic weapons are best to counter ochokochi in my opinion, the grey hp makes it 10x easier to kill ochokochi, the counter to most bots is ochokochi
Thank you😆
Great video!
Sonic typhoon hits like a sledge hammer 😂
Hey Adrian do you think a scorpion is a good counter? Since it is almost an assassin you can time your ability and deal massive damage. My setup on scorp is 2x cryo and 1x scatter since we can amplify dmg and deal unrepairable dmg. Is my setup any good and does scorp do a good job against it ?
Although I haven't tried the Scorpion myself, I actually think it might be pretty effective especially if you have the Whiteout drone. I would still recommend sonic weapons over Cryo rockets though simply because of that grey damage. Hope this helps!
one of your best videos
Thank you adriannnnnn 👍👍👍
Adrian I been watching your channel for a long time and I can honestly say you are the most humbled player even when the game is at its worst you find the positive great content bro
Thanks
Yoo the Strider dashes looks like a joke compared to the Nether
MULTUMESC FRUMOS,RESPECT...!
Thank u
I wish i could upgrade my pilot i just got for my ravana but with the memorium change i cant upgrade him at all since its taking so long to get just a little
Pixo watching this video: sonic nerf coming, they are doing so much damage to our premium players 😆
I will just switch to Mace then.
I have a khepri with sonic. sadly I need 2 more havocs for my typhon. but yeah its the only way i know i could kill them
