I am in Cameroon, (in Africa, not very popular country, I know), 100% English education till I went to med school in the francophone zone. I'm in the 6th year(of 7) and although I am quite familiar and comfortable with French now, I have been floundering, trying to deduce how to practice in English while learning in French. I believe that the leading thought on the mechanism of the aortic tear near/distal to the subclavian is on account of the tethering effect of the ligamentum arteriosum.

I think he must have tried to say as its not shockable in that setup as it will most probably occur in the field, But do agree that he mentioned as vfib,

Very good lecture but was surprised to hear that vfib is not a Shakable rhythm. For Vfib you defib.
