As a film major, it is incredibly rare for me to like the main character of a movie/series and this is the only movie where Luke is the top 3 best Star Wars characters
Mark and Luke both deserved better than the sequels, so did the entire sequel cast. Legends treated the character much better, like it did with all other original trilogy characters
I’m honestly okay with Luke feeling/being treated like a failure as a teacher. Watching him train Kyp Durron, or pretty much any of his early apprentices, it’s a miracle that only a single star system was destroyed I think a hero coming to terms with failure can be well done. My issue was just him dying without doing anything
iKR! ngl I loved the last jedi all the over the top and zipping side quest and twist and turns and plot holes are tbh actually very consistent with the Space Opera theme of George's Star Wars

I was happy very to see that they still had enough footage of her for Epi 9 to honor her and to fullill the promise of her getting trained by luke after he revealed to her in Epi 6 that she has the same connection to the force being one of the skywalker twins and yoda stating that she was the other hope for the light side if luke failed. I tear up everytime I watch that last hug with her and rey and seeing chewie crying😭. The paplatine video should show how much of a mastermind he is and how he becomes the most powerful dark lord of the sith. Im now subscribed to your channel.😊

Love her character as well! Probably gonna be a while for the Palpatine one because I also do stuff for other franchises but I may begin to prepare for that soon! This tribute is already perfect and still my most favorite of yours, but was curious if you thought of slightly updating it with a few quick clips from episode 6 of book of boba of him training grogu , I think it would be a cherry on top of a already perfect video. Thank you! I will probably just make a new one for Luke alltogether soon. I don't have the files for this anymore and I think I can do better as I've improved a lot since this. As for Yoda and Leia, I might hold on until the Obi-Wan show for Leia and Yoda is something I'll probably do soon, I just need to rewatch a lot of Clone Wars for that.
I'll always not view someone's edits from Star Wars. Its like looking at the world through someone else's eyes. I'm so happy of the community that just enjoys the story, conflict, and tragedy. Luke is proof that the dark side is always a conscious choice. It's always there, always waiting, always watching, always whispering and tempting and offering, but we choose to either heed it or reject it.
This just makes me so sad on the sequel story he got, Luke deserved and was so much better. The mandalorian showed that. Good work but dang am I happy legends/EU exists
Nice video, But honestly I would want to remake the sequel,because Luke won't let his friends suffered like how Disney potrayed. Still his redemption in last scenes of TLJ hit my heart. Legend made Luke a better Jedi grandmaster.
