@byrd4392 in a HAITIAN home, you are raised as HAITIAN, no matter where else you may have been born. You can be whatever other nationality you want when you're not in the home BUT as soon as you enter the HAITIAN home, youre HAITIAN. you only eat HAITIAN food, you only speak CREOLE, you only listen to HAITIAN music and you only watch HAITIAN movies. Fridayy may be born in america But he couldn't be American to save his life🧐🤣😂 all he knows is the HAITIAN culture, his First Language is CREOLE, Not English. Thats like telling a puerto rican person theyre not puerto rican because they werent born there, they will beat your ass😂🤣 EVERYONE identifies as what their PARENTS are because thats the Blood thats flowing thru their bodies.
This was a good interview and Fridayy is definitely one of the newer artists who actually has talent. I just finished listening to his debut album earlier and it's really good FOR REAL 💯
I grew up in Philly, I didn’t know he was from Philly til god did dropped but YO I’m so glad he’s getting this opportunity, it feels like watching a family member win! I’m glad we still puttin Philly on the map. I wouldn’t be who I am now without the influence of Philly, so to see another person get there from the same city, it’s a special feeling. I listend to the album 4 times in a row, it’s been the only thing I’ve been listening to and the first time I let a record play cover to cover in a long while. LEGEND
I don't know how it is like for Friday before hitting the mic, but whatever gives him the kind of motivation to keep producing all this hits, I say power to that man. Just keep doing what you doing, you on the right track big up!!!!
Represented well bro! For your family, for the city, for the younger generation! So many great things to say about this young man, and im just proud these kids get to listen to his music...his popularity mixed with his message can shake things up for this generation. GOD DID!
I LOVE FRIDAYY!! 💙❤️ Him & Vory are the 2 I can hear sing 🎶 all night long!! FRFR Congratulations FRIDAYY!! Keep giving 🫡us soulful music 🎶… WE NEED IT!! ✊🏽💙❤️

The last words of Fridayy on this are what I’ve been waiting for through years of listening to artists interviews on the Breakfast Club. I knew from the moment I heard his previous EP that he was that kind of artist, and that’s some real fresh air for Hip-Hop ! Salute to a future legend 🙏🎈
I thought Friday was Nigerian until I heard his mother’s prayer I said French “Haitian” good enough for me. Oh not to mention him and Burna Boy are good friends
this guy hit it right on! its not about the singer with the best highest or loudest vocal, its about the feeling transmitted to the listeners. 🙏
Good representation for our people🇭🇹 I wish him a lot of success.
He’s American, born in Philly… America is the reason u know him. We’re all from somewhere else…. Philly made him.
@@byrd4392Does not change the fact he is Haitian and represent his people and have pride doing it in humbleness.
