It looks like G4 Bound Man is now completely mastered, as we see luffy's transition back to his base form is significantly much quicker, like how he can turn off G2. And with Luffy applying the concept of Ryuo/Flow it, makes sense his form would be upgraded since better control of his haki means he's gonna be much more effective in it's application and not just purely pump high amounts of haki like what he used to do.
I think if he gets out of G4 he can still function to some degree cause we saw it in WCI when he faught katakuri Katakuri told him him that he was going to run out of time so luffy ran away got normal and got out of mirror world But yes I think he's mastering it and G4 put less strain on him

I want Nami to use Watherillusions to let Ulti run at her, throught her, and direct at Paypay, knocking him out in the Process. Ulti is as powerfull as Luffy minus G4, but dump as Straw and very simple in her Style of Attacking. I disagree with you that luffy can be easily fooled. It's been shown multiple time in the series that luffy has the ability to 'see someone's intent' . So he can be made fool by stupidest deception but if someone has an evil intention than even the deception-deception fruit won't help them.

But i have noticed most people forget that there is more to one piece than normal shenaniganry(like a lot of western comics). Every act of the manga represent something deeper, often in very poetic way. Just take the last chapter, luffy's gear name is 'wisdom king' which is quite poetic because kaido is represented multiple time as 'wisdom king (カイドウ - 国守る「明王」, "「明王」" = mingwang = ~wisdom king)' and later it revealed that luffy's gear version is the same. Which means it's a fight between the Fake wisdom king(kaido) Vs The real wisdom king(luffy). This also lead to other mystery that there are 5 'wisdom kings' : 1.) "The Immovable One" 2.) "The Conqueror of the Three Planes" 3.) "The Devourer of Demons" 4.) "The Defeater of Death" 5.) "The Dispenser of Heavenly Nectar" Now, kaido at one point or another have been shown to posses all of these traits is some ways or form (like he was literally unable to die when he tried) *EXCEPT* "The Dispenser of Heavenly Nectar" which if you read more the 'Heavenly Nectar' means 'Elixir of immortality', Neither kaido nor luffy posses anything like that. But if you remember correctly there was a point the managa talked about 'Immortality'..... with LAW and his ope-ope no mi. So does that mean law gonna operate on luffy and give him the 'heavenly nectar'? I DON'T KNOW One piece is just this crazy.

There´s even a very known theory on youtube regarding World Government that even called out Imu 3 years before he/she was revealed. And yeah it does mention briefly the wisdom kings. I wouldn´t call Kaido a Fake Wisdom King, I´d say he his The Defeater of Death and the other current Yonkou represent the other Wisdom Kings. Big Mom is the Devourer of Demons, either Shanks is the Conqueror of Three Planes or Blackbeard, either Shanks or Blackbeard are the Dispenser of Heavenly Nectar. This is a bit shaky because we still don´t know much about Shanks or Blackbeard tbh. But Kaido and Big Mom represent those two for sure. Luffy being the immovable one is obvious, Luffy´s will and Haki is immovable and even Kaido sweated with him using Conqueror´s unconscious.. I´ve also seen a theory that each wisdom king represents a G4 form and there´s possibly two other versions of G4 because of this. But we´ll see. As for Law using the immortal surgery, while I did defend this theory a long time ago and see it could have major story implications, I don´t see Oda killing Law so easily. Plus there´s the fact it gives immortality, so let´s say Oda goes that route. Would he make Luffy immortal? No, he´d probably would have to nerf the surgery by some way, shape or manner. This is what I believe what it might happen.Luffy is the 1% man, Act III will end with Kaido betraying Big Mom and using chemical weapons on Onigashima and on Wano, the weapons will also affect part of his fodder army. Kaido leaves for FI to try and get Poseidon. All the alliance will be near death with only very few being unnafected by this (Law being one of them). Luffy will be near death from his clash with Kaido and gas contamination. Caesar Clown, BMP and SHGF show up on wano and start helping containing the gas and taking out it´s effects. Casear Clown being in Wano would also mean he´d revert back the people affected by SMILE devil fruits. Law does use immortal surgery on a dead Luffy, but since Luffy´s heavy damage from Gear 2, Gear 3 and Gear 4 usage in the past, it only revives him and heals his body to a point where he wasn´t using gears. No immortality here though. A revived Luffy would have an insane Haki Bloom buff, meaning he´d probably be 1st Yonkou Commander level on base form and prime Yonkou in gear 4 or 5th. Of course this would have other types of implications: Would Luffy lose his devil fruit from being dead a few moments? Would he not lose it? Would the second life mean he´d be able to eat another devil fruit? Him using immortal surgery and bringing Luffy back from the dead would have a direct paralel to Marineford...Where it was Law who helped Luffy and stitch him up. As a result of this Luffy would have to fight Kaido a 3rd time against Kaido on FI. This would result in Shirley´s Prophecy completed. BMP will be temprary allies of SH´s and solve their issues on Elbaf (which is where I believe the 4th Road Poneglyph is). Marines would also be present in FI. This would tie up directly to Reverie subplot and Sabo. So many questions and possiblities. That´s my own head cannon and I know for sure whatever might happen by the end of Act III Oda will top this off for sure. I understand your love for One Piece and sadly sometimes I see OP youtubers disregarding story continuity and power systems for the sake of their head cannons. I´ve been reading One Piece for 15 years btw.

Drake never really asked to "join the crew", he moreso asked to "join their alliance". Quite the important difference here. Also, I still think that Luffy doesn't just trust Drake, he senses his intentions, which he is very adapt at. It was probably one of the major factors why Luffy fought Katakuri the way he did as well. He sensed Katakuri's killing intent fading (if there ever was one to begin with).
I always wondered if Kine'mon could cut Kaido's Boro breath (probably due to the perceived force of impact). I imagined it would've been without him jumping. Another thing. If Luffy punches kuma's paw with haki, could Kuma reflect the blow or would he have to use haki as well

Hey Matt, love the videos. I just thought about a discussion video you could definitely do! You kind of hinted at it before like with Luffys gear discussion and 5th gear discussion. What if gear 5th is gear 4th but less strenuous? And adds Ryo to his attacks? For instance before the time skip gear second and gear third were very taxing and had huge side effects. Afterwards he has mastery over them including being able to use them without really any drawbacks. After the prison training mini arc with Luffy he already stated his body feels stronger. Strong enough to handle gear 4th without too much strain. Add in ryo to his armament Haki (which is what he uses to inflate his muscles ((that are now stronger)) for gear fourth) and you have gear 5th. Luffy not having to go into a stamina depleting form while adding the destructive force of ryo

I disagree with you that luffy can be easily fooled. It's been shown multiple time in the series that luffy has the ability to 'see someone's intent' . So he can be made fool by stupidest deception but if someone has an evil intention than even the deception-deception fruit won't help them.

Typical one piece youtuber...Always forget that very important flashback with Rayleigh explaining Haki Bloom and Luffy´s type of Observation haki specialization... At least Tekking doesn´t go as far to say haki is a badly established power system.
@@nunobettencourt1429 i like to encourage other people to improve themselves as time go on. But i have noticed most people forget that there is more to one piece than normal shenaniganry(like a lot of western comics). Every act of the manga represent something deeper, often in very poetic way.
Just take the last chapter, luffy's gear name is 'wisdom king' which is quite poetic because kaido is represented multiple time as 'wisdom king (カイドウ - 国守る「明王」, "「明王」" = mingwang = ~wisdom king)' and later it revealed that luffy's gear version is the same.
Which means it's a fight between the Fake wisdom king(kaido) Vs The real wisdom king(luffy).
This also lead to other mystery that there are 5 'wisdom kings' :
1.) "The Immovable One"
2.) "The Conqueror of the Three Planes"
3.) "The Devourer of Demons"
4.) "The Defeater of Death"
5.) "The Dispenser of Heavenly Nectar"
Now, kaido at one point or another have been shown to posses all of these traits is some ways or form (like he was literally unable to die when he tried) *EXCEPT* "The Dispenser of Heavenly Nectar" which if you read more the 'Heavenly Nectar' means 'Elixir of immortality', Neither kaido nor luffy posses anything like that. But if you remember correctly there was a point the managa talked about 'Immortality'..... with LAW and his ope-ope no mi. So does that mean law gonna operate on luffy and give him the 'heavenly nectar'? I DON'T KNOW One piece is just this crazy.
@@zoozoo4all I have heard about the wisdom kings theory prior to last chapter. There´s even a very known theory on youtube regarding World Government that even called out Imu 3 years before he/she was revealed. And yeah it does mention briefly the wisdom kings.
I wouldn´t call Kaido a Fake Wisdom King, I´d say he his The Defeater of Death and the other current Yonkou represent the other Wisdom Kings. Big Mom is the Devourer of Demons, either Shanks is the Conqueror of Three Planes or Blackbeard, either Shanks or Blackbeard are the Dispenser of Heavenly Nectar. This is a bit shaky because we still don´t know much about Shanks or Blackbeard tbh. But Kaido and Big Mom represent those two for sure. Luffy being the immovable one is obvious, Luffy´s will and Haki is immovable and even Kaido sweated with him using Conqueror´s unconscious.. I´ve also seen a theory that each wisdom king represents a G4 form and there´s possibly two other versions of G4 because of this. But we´ll see.
As for Law using the immortal surgery, while I did defend this theory a long time ago and see it could have major story implications, I don´t see Oda killing Law so easily. Plus there´s the fact it gives immortality, so let´s say Oda goes that route. Would he make Luffy immortal? No, he´d probably would have to nerf the surgery by some way, shape or manner. This is what I believe what it might happen.Luffy is the 1% man, Act III will end with Kaido betraying Big Mom and using chemical weapons on Onigashima and on Wano, the weapons will also affect part of his fodder army. Kaido leaves for FI to try and get Poseidon. All the alliance will be near death with only very few being unnafected by this (Law being one of them). Luffy will be near death from his clash with Kaido and gas contamination. Caesar Clown, BMP and SHGF show up on wano and start helping containing the gas and taking out it´s effects. Casear Clown being in Wano would also mean he´d revert back the people affected by SMILE devil fruits.
Law does use immortal surgery on a dead Luffy, but since Luffy´s heavy damage from Gear 2, Gear 3 and Gear 4 usage in the past, it only revives him and heals his body to a point where he wasn´t using gears. No immortality here though. A revived Luffy would have an insane Haki Bloom buff, meaning he´d probably be 1st Yonkou Commander level on base form and prime Yonkou in gear 4 or 5th. Of course this would have other types of implications: Would Luffy lose his devil fruit from being dead a few moments? Would he not lose it? Would the second life mean he´d be able to eat another devil fruit? Him using immortal surgery and bringing Luffy back from the dead would have a direct paralel to Marineford...Where it was Law who helped Luffy and stitch him up.
As a result of this Luffy would have to fight Kaido a 3rd time against Kaido on FI. This would result in Shirley´s Prophecy completed. BMP will be temprary allies of SH´s and solve their issues on Elbaf (which is where I believe the 4th Road Poneglyph is). Marines would also be present in FI. This would tie up directly to Reverie subplot and Sabo. So many questions and possiblities. That´s my own head cannon and I know for sure whatever might happen by the end of Act III Oda will top this off for sure.
I understand your love for One Piece and sadly sometimes I see OP youtubers disregarding story continuity and power systems for the sake of their head cannons. I´ve been reading One Piece for 15 years btw.

Drake never really asked to "join the crew", he moreso asked to "join their alliance". Quite the important difference here.
Also, I still think that Luffy doesn't just trust Drake, he senses his intentions, which he is very adapt at. It was probably one of the major factors why Luffy fought Katakuri the way he did as well. He sensed Katakuri's killing intent fading (if there ever was one to begin with).

I'm pretty sure it would be deflected. Haki doesn't seem to negate devil fruits, just overcome logia's (and apparently rubber's) damage immunities.
Nizar Tiboucha it would probably hurt Kuma, but still reflect the attack
I had a similar question about Kuma. If Kuma uses haki in his paws, does it have the same characteristics as G4??? Hard like armor but still soft enough to deflect everything???

But with Carrot in her Sulong-Form, her eyeballs have turned black.
@@amigomorton7654 probably because they have control over Sulong, and Carrot doesn’t. Probably similar to how pre timeskip Monster Point had black eyes with a glare, put post timeskip Chopper gained control over it and he had regular looking eyes

I don't like Franky's excuse of not enough Cola just because, ever since the timeskip, I can't remember any point where he states that he's actually running low on Cola. Maybe I'm forgetting a scene in Dressrosa, but I can't recall that ever happening in Fishman Island or Punk Hazard. While pre-timeskip, I can remember a few times where he was running low, and his duckbill was flattened.

Hey Matt, love the videos. I just thought about a discussion video you could definitely do! You kind of hinted at it before like with Luffys gear discussion and 5th gear discussion. What if gear 5th is gear 4th but less strenuous? And adds Ryo to his attacks? For instance before the time skip gear second and gear third were very taxing and had huge side effects. Afterwards he has mastery over them including being able to use them without really any drawbacks. After the prison training mini arc with Luffy he already stated his body feels stronger. Strong enough to handle gear 4th without too much strain. Add in ryo to his armament Haki (which is what he uses to inflate his muscles ((that are now stronger)) for gear fourth) and you have gear 5th. Luffy not having to go into a stamina depleting form while adding the destructive force of ryo
Zoro might be the one to find out that Drake works for the Marines. He's clearly keeping an EYE on him
