Web gun is actually pretty good! You can jump in the webs you shoot and make a platform to get to stuff you would normally have to use a rope to get to.

the necronomicon has to move very quickly, if it moves a little, you are not at the right spot, (like the udjat eye, the closer you are, the faster it moves)
Northernlion... what if you place the shotgun on the entrance of the big head (don't know how to write the name) and when you die you take it?? IDK just an idea
NL... Could it be possible for you to keep your weapon while entering the Head by dropping the weapon right in front of the Head before killing your character? ...Might be worth a try.
Why don't you just use a headset to listen to audio? Not one that seals off completely, so that you can hear yourself talking as well. Or make it so that you can hear yourself through the headset as well. Audio is pretty important in Spelunky...
NL, you need to start maximizing your chances, since you certainly have the skill to do so. Try to do as much as you can in the level you're trying to die in before you do so. You can die anywhere, as people keep telling you. Also, the kapala is incredibly important. Good luck!

Nope. For dying so many various ways, Northernlion often forgets there is more than one way to die.

You should record a run and do post commentary on it to see how well you do if you're not busy talking.
I think that's what happens when you talk while playing.
You lose concentration.
