I have watched tie angel videos and i found yours the best I am going to be sharing your angel with my crafting ladies Thank you for sharing have an amazing weekend
I made these tie angels as memory angels from my dads neckties after he passed away for all the grandkids and family. They were so happy with them! They always have a special place on the tree and most of the kids leave theirs out year round. Fortunately I have an abundance of crochet doilies I got in a box from an estate sale. Thank you for all your beautiful crafts and I love your awesome personality ❤
I used this with a retirement home. Bought Christmas ties at the local thrift store as none of them had ties! I then made 10 for my family with my husband's funky ties from the 80s. He has a disability, so this gift will be treasured in a few years when he is unable to be as mobile and is not on this earth. This is a simple idea to make that tie special for a really long time. The funkier the tie, the better!!!! Thank you for great directions!!! I used hemp cord instead of wire and it worked just fine.
Love this precious little angel 😇 I have a bunch of old ties from when my husband and to wear them to work about 30 years ago, now he had his few favorites for times he needs one, so I can take all the other ones and make some angels
Amber who would have thought about using a necktie!!! Now that's really thinking 🤔 outside the box. I absolutely 💯% love 💘 this idea. I'm going to definitely be making some of these for my neighbor/friend and I know that she's going to appreciate this awesome angel. 😇 💗 Thank you 😊 so very much for sharing this awesome idea with all of us.
Thank you for this idea. We lost our son 6 years ago this Christmas and I still have his ties this will make a nice memorial ornament for his son and daughter. I love watching your tutorials.. Thank you again. Have a great holiday season.
I have not seen this done. I do have a maybe a few of my dads ties, will have to bring myself to cut it. But I do love this idea of the remembrance of a loved one. As the pillow made from a shirt. I do have a bunch of ties I have from garage sales, but can't remember now what I was doing with them oh my! Must be I've had them too long.. lol I think it was going into scrappy quilts, them my machine broke..love your idea. Thanks for Sharing. And saved to do later. Have a great day.
Oh my goodness, I have been holding on to my father-in-law's ties for years since he passed away looking for the right thing to make as a little Memorial to him for my husband I can't wait to make these thank you so much
Thank you for the tie tutorial. I do 3 types of memory animals and memory pillows. This will be another option for a treasured keepsake. Thank you again. I enjoy your tutorials.
I'd love to see you do more of these! Like maybe an Angel that could be hung on a wall all year & not just as a Christmas Ornament. I'm trying to figure out if I could make something like this to accompany the Journal I'm making my Mom! ~🙏💙🙏~
My dad passed away some years ago and he had some Amazing Ties from the 60's, 70''s, etc I'm not sure if mom kept them, but it would be amazing to make some of these incredible Tie Angels with them...at least one for mom, myself (only child), my 3 kids and my 3 grands. Thank you for this beautiful sentimental ornament idea...I was on the edge of tears the entire time watching this one. I'm calling my mom later today to ask her about the ties. I love this tie angel - beautiful! I wanted to keep my husband's ties and make something with them, after he retired. However, he burned them! 😂 He said he hated wearing them and felt like they were hok8ng him for 30+ years and he exacted his revenge on the ties! 😂 I guess it's how we feel about bras and panty hose! 😂 I will be making a thrift store run so I can make one of these beauties. Thank you! ♥

Love the Angel! 🥰
Very sweet! I just lost my dad on the 1st of December so this might be a memorial craft for me to do.
I still laugh when she was doing Halloween crafting she mentioned her ex-mother in law riding passed on her broomstick 😃
We used to hear comments all the time like that. It was fun to hear it again. Ten to one, she gets along with her X mother in law wonderfully.
I can’t stand her. I had her arrested once lol
Now you got me laughing again 🤣 😂 😆 😄
