- homemade parts : axles, steering, chassis, lipo trays
it was fun ! with the stock 5ive T tires, it slides nicely and accelerates surprisingly good ! it's a pleasure to watch it move !
steering works precisely despite the servo not being on the axle. steel ball rods are awesome !
it already had some good tumbles and the front sway bar broke.
a steel parts also bent on the steering so i will make it stronger..
i also got to work on the shocks that are much too stiff with my mix of various silicon oil laying around haha

thanks man ! it's indeed fun to see how it moves ! swaybars are really important of this truck so i got to find a good compromise. i can't build rcs for people, but i can share how i did it and show it to manufacturers. the closest one being primal rc ! they subbed to my channel !

One of the realest in the custom rc scene. At least the 8 months i been watching
thank you ! note that my goal isn't to build real looking cars : my first goal is durability and agility ! i want my trucks to fly and backflip !! i want them to be able to handle much power, so i use big differentials. i make light chassis so i use basic shaped 7075 aluminium sheets. the only realistic looking part is the body ! custom made thanks to probodyRC in russia ! hwat RC do you drive ?
All I am gonna say is bad ass being steel construction and built durable. you have a true basher!! Great work
thank you ! i'm still a beginner at ARC welding, but the cool part is that steel can be cut and welded again !! it allowed me to try various solutions and change easily ! this truck will improve and get a bot more power

thank you ! i'm thinking about this truck for 1 year now ! i wasn't sure how to built it but once i start, ideas come and the build go nicely. i even tested various solutions ( steering, swaybars, suspension arms ) . by the way, i don't make any drawing or schema !

surely, but this thing is huge and heavy ! it might not be appropriate for kids under 15 with good driving skills !!! i recommand a light traxxas slash for kids !

Even more since watching your videos...your building and driving skills are amazing...My personal favourite model is your 1/10 MT creation. I've been working on a 1/24 indoors solid axle monster truck lately, done literally from scratch (no axles, no transmission...). It's almost finished and you can tell what I've done already doesn't look as refined as your models do, but let's hope it will be fun to drive... I can't wait to finish the project and upload a video. Keep the amazing buiding and uploading, please. 🤟🏻

With the concrete rolls I’m thinking it needs thicker diff fluid at the front and maybe the rear too. What a truck ! I reckon doing a walk through on the truck and why you chose certain things would be an epic vid and who cares if it’s half hour ✈️

This rhinh is sick bro and good looking although maybe could use a tad bit wider tire to fill in those wheel wells but thats juste being nit picky. Your right it is fun to watch i mean ive never heard another rc actually squeal the tires like that in turns sounds like a full size truck would.

thank you ! well it's hard to find nice tires for 1/5th trucks. those stock losi 5ive T tires do indeed make a nice noise on concrete, check my other videos, most tires do make noise on that slick concrete
@@timwegman5776 i first used a 58x113mm 870kv leopard hobby motor on 2x4s lipo with a max5 esc. then later, on my most recent vids on this truck, i even use a max4 combo with the hige 70x125mm motor on 12s !
Better than anything that traxxas or armma or places like that hands down!

thanks ! every build i made had something interesting and unique ! i paid probodyRC to make me a custom body ! i base it on the HPI 5t size so other people can use it too
that is one sturdy vehicle. If i did that with my xmaxx the body would be broken in 5 minutes

thanks man, the steel servo saver is custom made, i just welded tabs on it : i wanted long arms on a servo saver for more precision ! i used stocl losi tires for their look and SOUND haha ! they don't grip good indeed, but they are fun. next vid will have more power and other tires. my goal is to bump frontflip this truck and try a double backflip ! there will be carnage !

@@yibrahim12 the losi 5ive diffs handle 8s - 12s power with no problem ! that's why i choose them . i only run 8s in this vid ( max5+leopard hobby 56113 700kv ). next time i will run a cooler 12s setup )

hello scotland ! fun fact : i live on a island caller new caledonia ! inspired by Scotland !!! it would indeed be cool if i could build and sell some to people, but it's a huge investement and tons of work ! all i can do is share my ideas and maybe a rc manufacturer will copy them !

Durability is my biggest gripe with my RCs, arms & diffs, always the bloody arms & diffs.!
Out of my collection of around 20 ish RCs there's only ever about 5 or 6 working at any one time, especially nowadays with parts getting hard to find.
