Im so glad you posted of video on this game, thank you so much its impossible to find anything on it. But I'm curious about the bots, how's your current gold bot and which do you think will be best?
All my bots are at the minimum level because I don't have Golden Tower. Buying any the stun bot was likely a mistake as I should've bought ultimate weapon stones to try to get Golden Tower or upgrade Golden Tower. That said, I let curiosity get the better of me and I'm not sure how I'll spend the rest of my event medals. Without GT, I certainly don't think coin bot is worth it.
What I was doing is threefold. First, find a stage that you can AFK for a while and check periodically to get good perks. I've been able to get to ~4,000 of tier 1, so that's good to do while I sleep, especially if I start a bit earlier and pick up some perks. Second, keep researching the coin bonus research. I only stopped because I unlocked GT and I'm currently working on researching GT. If you keep them at the same level, they have the same research time. I also set a timer for when research is done. Third, always be grinding. I run it on a separate, older device so I can keep an eye on it and grab gems all day long.

Does the green padlock on the cards mean I can’t use it until I research whatever the card is?
I thought it meant you can't swap them during a run.

why does it double the gems
Periodically, there's an offer that doubles the gems from the offer wall. That's the best time to go gem hunting.
