Acceptance deserves more publicity. Their music is amazing and this album is just as strong as Phantoms. Their lyrics are so relatable too! I wish I could see them in concert :(
I agree with the statement that they deserve to be bigger but this album is not as strong as Phantoms unfortunately but that's ok. Phantoms was almost 20 years ago they aren't gonna have the same sound they did back then. The vocals are amazing on this record though!
I loved Phantoms, but didn’t know they put out another album until about 2 weeks ago, and this is the song I keep going back to on that album. The line “I’ll play along, but I’m so tired of what I’m getting,” is something I can relate to so much.
This song is perfect, with so many moments that throw you on a diversity of feelings! First time I listened I was on sunset in Renton/Tacoma, WA. The sky was beautiful orange and dark blue, the wind perfect... and this song appears!
Ive always had a specific philosophy and preference for defining a strong album...One of my main beliefs, is that a strong album must start off mesmerizing, and conclude equally mesmerizing...sort of left with the refreshed feeling one experiences after a good swim...This album nails that.
"All this time I've wasted on you..."
His voice sums up in a few seconds what I've felt for nearly 20 years.
''She looks at me with a wicked smile
I look to her, I'm gonna stay awhile...''
Love this
Caught off guard breathing hard.. Feel it beat through my heart.

@@agdrummer2610 Yeah phantoms is pinnacle 2000s alternative, the new stuff is good but sounds more electronic.
